Sales agent was very knowledgeable, detailed and provided several different options with no pressure. Installation went very smoothly and professionally. One day installation. The installers arrived on time and were very efficient.

He arrived on time, and it was a late night emergency. We called at around 6 or 7, and they said he'd be out before midnight, at no extra charge. He called when he was coming, and arrived promptly. He examined the unit, and was able to diagnose what was wrong right away: the fan had fallen off. He was able to put it back on, and tested it and made sure it was working properly. He even replaced our filter when he was checking it inside. He recommended we upgrade ours, but didn't try to upsell anything to us. It was an absolute pleasure working with this technician, and I would love to work with them again in the future!

They had a slight problem to get it working properly for a couple days, but it has been working great since.

First they never showed up for the appointment and I had to call back to reschedule. Then they came out apparently with the goal to keep increasing the scope of the repair. They said it was one thing and got approval to replace the part then said it was some other part then tried to up sell me on a whole new system. After talking to another repair guy I know and saying what they specifically did, he thinks that they actually sabotaged my system to fail in another area so that it would have to be replaced. What is this based on? My tenant says the guy who was trying to sell me on a system replacement was monkeying around in parts of the system that he had no business being in and then those parts broke just a week or two later. Perhaps that's just a coincidence, but I wouldn't risk it for something this expensive.

The service was excellent. The company arrived on time. They were very professional, knowledgeable and made sure everything worked properly before they left. This company has payment options and a 24 hour emergency # which are both features of service that I was looking for and appreciate. They also offer free estimates.

Blue Dot did a great job diagnosing the issue with my furnace.

3 visits to our house and over 1000 spent and still the AC unit, a Carrier is still not fixed (unit is less than 7 years old)... 4th visit with yet another part on the way. Would recommend strongly against using this company they don't appear to have technicians (now 3) that know how to service what they sell. Very frustrating. Technician did remember which AC unit was not working then he had to leave for a personal appointment. All techiciabs were at least 1 hour late. Complete gong show

There was scheduling problems in the beginning. Namely, I was promised same day service to fix a freon leak and re-charge, but my appointment never made it to the schedule. I was rescheduled for the next day. Due to the heat wave, there were a lot of calls for similar problems and I was rescheduled again. Finally, I was assigned a tech, almost 5 days after my initial call. The delays were a little annoying. The first one was due to incompetence on the part of their answering service. The second, though longer delay because of the weekend, was completely understandable. The recent heat-wave made certain calls more important than mine--like those serving the elderly. Finally, a Blue Dot technician arrived: Matt. He was a very nice gentleman and, despite having already worked a rather long day, diagnosed and repaired my air conditioning system quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Having the problem fixed right, the first time, was definitely worth waiting a few days for service. Should I need A/C work done again, I will likely count on Blue Dot.

Came to our house to fix AC unit and not only did not fix had to call electrician as they said there was something wrong with the electrical pannel. Turns out it is the AC unit that is tripping the pannel. So not only has blue dot billed me over 300 without fixing the AC unit, but I had to pay an electrician over 150 just to find out the AC unit is tripping the power. I am out over 450 dollars and blue dot has done nothing to solve the problem. House is still 88 degrees.

The office called to schedule my appointment within 48 hours and then called me about 1/2 an hour prior to the service technician arriving. The technician was pleasant, thorough, and explained what he was doing.

The deal was fine. However, by the time that technician came out, there was no longer an issue. I had reset the system and it appeared to fix it. As soon as I purchased the deal, they called to schedule the appointment and they were punctual. The technician spent about fifteen minutes resetting the unit and assuring that there were no additional issues. Everything worked out well.

They were efficient and professional. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem right away. I would work with them again in the future.

Blue Dot sent Richard Humphreys to inspect our HVAC system and he was really great--efficient and professional and answered my (numerous) questions.

They were terrific, fast, efficient, very professional, polite, and took care of my problem immediately. They couldnt have been more pleasant to work with.

I scheduled a seasonal check of my air conditioning unit. The service window was for 9 AM - 12 PM, and the senior service tech and tech trainee arrived mid-morning. The technicians went to check on the air handling unit in the house, and adjusted the flow valve in the duct work to direct the a/c'd air to the upper floors, and visually observed the condition of the a/c coils. Rust was appearing, and the techs notified me that the unit takes a beating from the air quality of a new home. Depending on the severity of the rust over time, eventually the coils and burners would need replacement. This was the first time someone had checked the coils after had other a/c services performed by other companies. The technicians proceeded outside and checked the outdoor unit. The capacitor was 10% below rating when it was allowed to be within 5%, and a humming noise was coming from the actuator switch. Both were recommended for replacement as the warmer weather and stress of operation in that warmer weather could cause the parts to fail, and the a/c would then cease to work. The techs quoted a price, and with a service contract, would get a 10% discount as well as other perks for having a service contract. Since this senior service tech was so helpful in the past, patient, answered all questions fully, I accepted the repair and service contract. I'll be using this firm in the future and recommending to others.

Larry, who seems to be the main serviceman for Blue Dot in Baltimore City, is fantastic. He keeps you updated on what he is doing, explains the issue thoroughly, and is extremely efficient. Larry also provided valuable education on what I can do to keep my HVAC in tip-top shape.

We purchased a deal for, and I scheduled, a seasonal check of the furnace. The service tech arrived at noon to perform a 21 point service check. The service tech proceeded to perform the check and evaluation of the operation of the furnace. He answered all my questions thoroughly and with the knowledge of his profession. Based on previous heater service, he did a thorough job. Afterwards I told the tech that we close the vents on the 1st floor since no need to heat the area as we infrequently spend much time using the space. However the 3rd floor becomes very warm since the thermostat is on the 2nd floor, and the temps of the 2nd floor trigger the heating system to operate. The 3rd floor gets both the heat from the vents and the heat climbing up the stairs, and at times gets stifling. It's a touchy operation to keep adjusting the thermostat based on the outside temp and time of the day to maintain a comfortable atmosphere.The tech indicated that heat should be coming out of the vents on the first floor to create a barrier of heat from the outside cold, so I opened the vents on the 1st floor. He also noticed that the airflow adjuster inside the ductwork to the 1st floor was closed, thereby directing nearly all the heat generated to the upper floors. He proceeded to open the flow adjuster in the ductwork to the 1st floor. Since then the house has been much more comfortable.

Professional and on time. I feel their fix-it price was probably pretty high ($150 to refill coolant and tighten leaking hose on system) but was quick and we haven't had problems since.

The technician was polite but not a journeyman. He had to call others to diagnose the problems. He claimed the problem is the furnace circuit board and will cost $800 to replace, or a new furnace would cost between $2500 and $5000. I checked prices on the internet and circuit boards installed cost between $250 and $500. I am getting two other estimates, but will not be using Blue Dot.

They have had a service agreement with me so they come out twice a year to check on everything. The last couple of years really bothered me because everytime they came to check out, they wanted to sell me something. I don't have excellent knowledge about heating and air conditioning systems, they would say that there is something wrong with my system and being vulnerable i gave in. One day he came out and replaced something in the outside unit and he charged me 250 dollars for it, i later found out from a friend who works in that field that it was like a 40 dollar port and could be replaced easily. The next time they came up for a service call, they wanted to replace something called a balance for a high fee, so i said i will get back to you. When i got back to my friend and he said that is a 14 dollar port and is just like replacing a battery.

A salesperson came out and he said that I didn't need to have the part. They also wrote up a bill for nearly $1000. The supervisor came out and was very honest. I explained that I didn't feel comfortable working with the company. I would say that members need to be careful who they get from Blue Dot. I also felt that they disconnected a part that didn't need to be disconnected. I'd give an A to the supervisor and F to the tech/ salesperson. They were responsive because they were determined to get money.
