At Your Service was contracted by Home Depot to install our new dishwasher after separate delivery. I received a call from the company on the day delivery was expected, and when I was sure the unit was correct and complete with hoses and paraphernalia, I called AYS to set up an appointment. An installer was scheduled for the following morning, he arrived on time, and everything was neatly done and checked in less than a half hour. A good experience.

It did not the installer complained about the amount of work then ultimately didn't install because he said I needed a fire shield although there was a preexisting gas range there before, this is also after two days of not being able to get in contact with the company to even get the range installed. Once I was able to speak to someone in customer service they first blamed me, then JC Penney, then I was ultimately told that the installation date was under their discretion. I have already requested a refund from JC Penney as well filed a complaint with them as well. Run from this company I was out of stove for three days and this company did not care.

My experience with this company was very bad. I had trouble getting them to set a date/time for estimating the job & a date/time for installation of a new microwave. They were not considerate of my schedule. The technician who did the installation was great but the microwave was defective so he told his office to order a new one for me. This was not done until weeks later when I called to find out the status. They told me conflicting stories on why it wasn't ordered immediately. They said they would order it. Again, weeks went by, & still no microwave & no call from the company. I called again & received conflicting stories again. After a lot of calls (initiated by me because they never returned a phone call), the new microwave was installed- 3 months after my original order & installation. I would not use this company. Their technicians know what they are doing, but the owner & office staff don't know how to run a business.

I AM POSTING THIS RESPONSE TO THE MICROWAVE INSTALLATION FOR THIS CUSTOMER. WE DO INSTALLATIONS FOR MAJOR RETAILERS. WE WILL DO THE INSTALLATION IF THE PRODUCT IS AVAILABLE FOR INSTALLATION. IT DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY WE ARE AT THE MERCY OF THE RETAILERS, I CAN TELL YOU IT WAS NOT BY ANY MEANS OUR FAULT FOR THE DELAY IN THIS INSTALLATION. THE PRODUCT WAS NOT AVAILABLE FOR INSTALLATION AND IF THE CUSTOMER WAS SPEAKING TO THE RETAILER AND NOT OUR COMPANY I CAN SEE WERE SHE WOULD THINK IT IS OUR FAULT WHEN IT IS NOT. OUR CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS KEPT IN THE LOOP. SOMETIMES MICROWAVES ARE LATE COMING INTO THE STORES BECAUSE THEY COME FROM OVERSEAS IN CARGO CONTAINERS THAT REQUIRE TO BE XRAYED FOR HOMELAND SECURITY REASONS. IF A PRODUCT IS LATE COMING INTO THE STORE WE DIRECT THE CUSTOMERS TO TALK TO THE SALESPERSON TO FIND OUT WHEN THE MERC. WILL BE IN.
