Description of Work: They have done the septic tanks for many years. I took over the house from my parents who are both deceased. They were supposed to come out and do the service and leave a bill in the mailbox or door. I wasn't home that day so I just assumed they pumped the septic tank. When I didn't receive a bill after 30 days, I called and left a message that I had service done and never received the bill. Well they told me they could not find where the septic tank was. Even though they had been doing the service here for 20 years or so. The owner even came out and said he couldn't find it but they might have it in their old records before they were computerized. They weren't able to find the records and suggested I get a plumber with a metal detector. Well I found another company and they were able to find it and do it.

+ -1 moreThey came, evaluated the situation and found it was from a drain from inside the house and told me how to fix it myself. While they were there, I still had them empty the septic tank, which they did quickly without a mess and suggested a very reasonable, infrequent follow up schedule. they are very honest, show up on time, and do excellent work for a good price.
Description of Work: I found ground water that I thought was from our septic tank, which had not been emptied in over 25 years.

+ -1 moreThey called me back the next day after I called them and left a message. They then came out 3 days later to get the work done. They were great and cleaned the tank well. They also let us know that everything was okay. They recommended that we get it cleaned every 2 years. The guy who came out said that he would come back and wouldn't charge anything to run a camera down to make sure that everything was good. I would use their services in the future too.

+ -1 moreWe had a very good experience with Michael Septic. I called to schedule an appointment. My call was returned promptly, and we scheduled a cleaning. They arrived on time, did the work, and left no trace, other than the bill in the mailbox. I was at work, and I had forgotten that I had scheduled the appointment. I was delighted when I opened my mailbox (nice that they did not leave the bill stuck in the door) and found the bill. The company did what I needed, on time, for the promised price, and left no trace.

+ -1 morePromptly returned my phone call for service. Arrived at scheduled time. Worked quickly and efficiently. Father and son team were knowledgeable and very personable. Went out of their way to avoid spilling waste on lawn or damaging flowers with drain hoses. All-in-all, a pleasant experience.
