 + -1 moreExactly as promised. Tech had similar equipment to Roto-Rooter and performed the service for $150.00 vs $340.00. Drain was cleared in less than an hour and we were very pleased.

drain cleaning
 + -1 moreThe plumber came on time and he had to pull the toilet out in order to get the snake down the drain. It took a while to get the snake to go the direction it needed to go (there was some kind of a "Y" in the line, and it kept going the wrong way), but eventually he got it done. He did a good job of cleaning up a really big mess, and overall he did a good job. It's just the price that is irritating.
Description of Work: We had a serious issue with a stopped up toilet in an upstairs bedroom. Water was leaking around light fixtures in the hallway below. The Drainworks plumber came and did a good job of unstopping the toilet, but the price was horrible. It was priced as $425 for up to two hours, plus some rate I can't remember for any hours over 2. It took 45 minutes to do the deed, so we really got ripped off by the pricing method. Other companies (who were too busy to come out) quoted hourly rates that were basically just double the regular rate. That would have been a lot less expensive, probably half as much.
