Description of Work: Joy provided exactly the information and design recommendations to transform our home. | |While I had repainted, decorated, and added new lighting fixtures, Joy was able to provide a detailed plan for several color and pattern changes creating a lighter and brighter atmosphere with much better flow between rooms and hallways. I have already completed most of the painting and arrangements and the change is amazing...Thank you...

Description of Work: Joy assisted us in decorating our family room, dining room, library and master bath. She came and assessed our home and our style/design preferences and then provided detailed design ideas for each room. The final product included a detailed drawing of the proposed design along with a breakdown of where to purchase every element in the design (furniture, accessories,etc. ) She used existing furniture and accessories wherever possible and proposed inexpensive furnishings from stores such as pier one, target, Kirklands, etc.

Description of Work: Joy Waida met with my husband and me twice--when we first decided to put our house on the market and after we had implemented her staging recommendations. During the first visit, she spent two hours with us--during which she suggested ways that we could make our house appealing to prospective buyers. She suggested neutral wall colors that we should use in each room and recommended ways to declutter and to rearrange our furniture and art items so that each space would invite visitors to envision their possessions in the setting. After the painting had been completed and the rooms "decorated" as she recommended, Joy returned for one hour to review what we had done and to help us to "fine tune." We followed 100% of her suggestions, and, therefore, we increased the likelihood of sale exponentially.
