Travis helped us with every step along the way: securing a stager and a photographer in order to have brochures of the house printed, posting the house on the multiple listing services available on the internet, arranging for clients and their realtors to visit the house, helping us find contractors to complete some required repairs to the property, and assisting us in securing a home equity loan in order to purchase our Ohio home. Travis was the biggest help in our search for a home. He was always very responsive and answered any questions we had almost immediately. There would even be times late at night I would email him, not expecting a response until the next day, and he was right there with an answer. He consistently followed up with our loan officers, the other realtors, and inspectors. He comes from a knowledgeable back round, previously being a contractor and home flipper. He had great repair, structural, and maintenance knowledge that I know many other realtors simply wouldn't have. Spoiler Alert: This recommendation comes chock full of Tolkien references!!! We were first time homebuyers and our journey—and after seven offers I believe that I can call our search a journey—wouldn’t have been successful without the friendly, experienced, and caring guidance of Travis Forsyth. Despite hours of watching HGTV shows about buying homes, we were about as clueless as a pair of hobbits leaving the Shire for the first time in our lives. Luckily for us, Travis was there to lead us on our epic quest for a new home. Like Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings, Travis is a wizard at his craft and I’d like to share a few things I found out about him: 1) “A wizard is never late, Frodo, nor is he early; he arrives precisely on time.” ~ Gandalf One of the first things that really impressed me about Travis was that he was always on time. He never left us waiting outside of a property and he was always reachable by cell, email, or text. We knew that he had many other clients, but from our perspective, it felt like we were the only ones with whom he was working. 2) “What do you mean? Do you wish me a good morning; or mean that that it is a good morning whether I want it or not; or that you feel good this morning; or that it is a morning to be good on?” ~ Gandalf When we met him in the morning Travis would greet us with, “Good afternoon;” and if he picked us up in the afternoon he’d say, “Good morning!” With him, every trip to look at properties was an adventure full of jokes and laughter. Travis made what could have become a wearying, stressful undertaking into good humored romp that we looked forward to on the weekends and have even missed, once or twice, now that we are home owners. 3) “You shall not pass!” ~ Gandalf Travis always put our future happiness ahead of his commission. We searched out a lot of homes that we would then visit with Travis. It would have been easy for him to allow us to fall in love with properties that would have been nightmares in order to turn a quick profit, but he refused to do so. In fact, on at least one occasion he pulled in to a driveway, took one look around at the exterior of the home and the neighborhood and said, “Nope. I can’t let you live here.” 4) “I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil.” ~ Gandalf Did I mention that we made seven offers on homes before we were finally able to close? Throughout all of the ups and downs, the shenanigans and the heartbreaks, Travis was with us. When we bid on homes that we loved and lost, I knew that he felt pain right along with us. He was angry for us when deals were not honorably upheld. When we cried after losing the bid on our sixth home after 7 months of searching, we were not alone. Travis was there with us through all of it. And he was there on the other side of it when we found our new home. In closing, let me just say that I highly recommend Travis Forsyth to anyone looking for an agent. He’s caring, professional, has an extensive knowledge of codes and home construction, and has the contacts and experience to guide you quickly and safely on your journey from home selection through bidding and on to closing on your next big adventure…YOUR new home.

In short he's a good person, a more then qualified realtor, and the results speak for them selves, our house was under contract the first weekend, full asking price, and we made it through the process as pain free as possible do to his efforts. I AM recommending him to my friends and family! Me and my wife are very thankful for his help. Having had a truly horrible experience before hand Travis really was a well needed change in pace. Travis was very professional and always polite. He always arrived promptly and came well prepared. He made the process of selling our house as pain free as possible, he and his assistant were never more then a phone call, text, or email away. He also went the extra mile to have professional pictures taken that truly elevated our home and made a difference in getting people in the door. I can't imagine a better realtor than Travis. We had our home on the market for over a year with a realtor we thought was good. It turns out she was nothing compared to Travis. He was direct and honest about what we needed to do to sell the house and very clear about what to expect. He knew what he was talking about--our house was under contract in a little over a week after listing with him! He also made the experience of finding a new house as easy as possible, spending a significant amount of time patiently helping us find the "right" one. He was incredibly responsive and answered all of our questions, even the seemingly superfluous ones, almost immediately by text, phone, or even in person. Travis' contractor experience was an additional asset--he was able to tell us the various advantages and pitfalls of the properties we saw and how to address them, even before the inspector visited. Travis' integrity was also very apparent, not just in the professional and courteous way he treated us, but also in the way he worked with others. I can't recommend him enough.

Travis is an absolute professional! In addition to being a realtor, Travis is an experienced contractor and has also been renovating foreclosed homes to sell. During the construction, he dropped by often to consult fixing ( he used to be a general contractor so he is very familiar construction ) it was very helpful for my renovation business. I clearly see he really cared for my deal. it is hard to find savvy, diligent, patient, acceptting for criticism and HONEST realtors these days, I can say Travis is one of the best realtors. Travis is an excellent real state agent. He is professional, reliable, responsive, and easy-going. I met him through a friend and I am glad I did. He helped me purchase my first home, in Ednor Garden, in october 2013. Honestly, I would not have been able to buy my home, from Fannie Mae, without Travis's professionalism and help. The house came on the market one afternoon; with Travis's help, my family and I went to see it and put it under contract the next day. And then, two days later I got a response from Fannie Mae asking for my best offer because it has gotten several other offers. Travis and I submitted my best offer and I won the bidding process. But this was just the beginning of the process. Travis has guided me, every step of the way, until I made it to the closing meeting. At the beginning, my loan application progress was complicated and exhausting because I was working on two other grant applications. Travis was the one who stepped in and helped keep the process on track by getting an approval to chance the closing date. I am glad he did because if he didn't I would have lost $ 40,000.
