+ -1 moreDon is a low-key, humble operator out of his house at the end of a road. Don't let it fool you. He knows exactly what he's doing. He does it fast and affordably, like the honest friend of a friend you rarely find. He talks you through the problem on the phone and explains how it went when you get your machine back: snow blowers, lawn mowers, edgers, there's probably little he can't do. Choose him.
Description of Work: Don got my mower to start when it wouldn't and was smoking after a botched job by a larger competitor in Jarrettsville; stay away. Then he removed oil that spilled internally after the mower was accidentally left knocked over in a shed.

+ -1 moreWe ran over a metal pole with the lawn mower and bent the blade, but after replacing the blade the mower wouldn't start. We called around - 2 weeks, $100 labor. We called Don - he said come on over. He fixed it in 30 minutes while I waited. Charged me $40. (Plus, I got to pet his cat.) Mower runs great.

+ -1 moreDon showed up on time and replaced the blades. He showed me what was wrong on the old blades and even gave me info to give to my husband to purchase a tool that would have allowed my husband to do the repair himself. I would definitely hire him for another job.
Description of Work: Called Don & asked him if he could replace the blades on our rider lawn mower. Don said he could do it at our house and would be there within the hour as he had another job in the area.

+ -1 moreContacted Don and made an appointment for the next afternoon. Lawn mower was difficult to start and ran poorly once running. Was considering getting a new one but thought I might as well have someone look at it. Don fixed it by the following afternoon. The mower starts with one pull and runs like new! Don is professional, polite , efficient, and reasonably priced! HIGHLY recommend!
