Estimator arrived the next day after call and delivery was scheduled for following day. Two crews arrived on time. I was told by estimator that oil that was removed from old tank would be filtered to remove any sludge before pumping back into the new tank. The on site crew said that they could not do that. The crews were not customer service oriented. Large wrenches were thrown onto concrete floor several times. Luckily there was no damage to floor. I asked crew member if he planned on removing interior door before removing old tank. He said it was not necessary. He proceeded to ram the tank through the doorway and damaged the door and casement. He was ready to repeat the process with the new tank until I insisted that he remove the door. It took less than 30 seconds to remove the door. I was told that I would be contacted by Petro supervisor about the damage but I am still waiting. I cleaned up the floor as work progressed. The crew made no effort to do a more thorough cleaning.

The service provided, whether setting up the account, having work done or emergency service has always been excellent. They called later that week to ensure all had gone well with the service call.

The jobs go well. They usually come when they say they will but sometimes run late. The work is generally done well.

There was a long list of negative issues that required 10 months to fix. Finally, I had another contractor involved. Most notable negatives were:(1)Wife did not feel comfortable with installation crew in house. They seemed creepy. (2) Installed furnace did not match the existing A/C so the A/C system still does not work at full capacity. (3)Petro pressured us to pay bills before work was done. (4) When we complained to Petro they did get back to us until well after (weeks) we called. There was no action or even acknowledgement or responsibility. I would never use them again.

Subcontracted to DHL, who was very professional, although they did not install correct thermostat. Turns out Petro did not specify a thermostat. Petro came out to fix thermostat and heating/cooling problems. Turned out a previous Petro tech who came out had reinstalled the original thermostat incorrectly, and we could not control the temperature in the house. The lead tech (686), immediately found the problem, and flipped a switch, and we were good to go. Everything seems to be running fine. Tech 686 (John Rocker) was very knowledgeable, and the best HVAC guy we have ever had. Mixed feelings about other two techs who came first. So my rating of professionalism is based on the good experiences with Tech 686, not the two techs who came first, one of which was very disrespectful in my home. Price was great, sales professional was excellent. Overall, we are very happy. We use Petro for all of our heating/cooling needs, including oil service. They have never let us down.

WE HAVE USED THEM EVER SINCE WE HAVE LIVED HERE, ABOUT FORTY YEARS. THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY AND THEY ALWAYS COME RIGHT OUT WHEN I CALL THEM. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERYONE!

WAS VERY HAPPY THE WAY THAT THEY HANDLED FIXING MY FAN ON MY FURNACE. BILL WAS VERY PROMPT ON GETTING TO MY HOME. HE REMOVED THE OLD PARTS, AND CLEAN ALL THE MESS THAT WAS LEFT ON THE FLOOR.

WE HAVE USED THEM FOR YEARS. THEY ALWAYS COME OUT WHEN I NEED THEM TO, AND THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE ON TIME. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARE WONDERFUL.

THIS COMPANY IS IRRESPONSIBLE IN ITS GENERAL DELIVERY OF OIL. THEY DO NOT ATTEND IN THE WINTER, AND THEN YOU RUN OUT.. AND THEN THEY WON'T COME OUT AND FILL THE TANKS. THEY ARE GENERALLY A DISORGANIZED COMPANY.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE AN EXCELLENT COMPANY. THEY CAME IN AND COMPLETED THE JOB IN A TIMELY MANNER. THE REPRESENTATIVE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE.

THE COMPANY IS A VERY PROFESSIONAL COMPANY AND THE WORK IS VERY EFFICIENT. I THINK THEY ARE COURTEOUS AND PROFICIENT, AND THEY HAVE BEEN COURTEOUS IN THE DEALING WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED.

TAKES THEM A LITTLE TIME TO COME OUT. THEY ARE TO COME OUT EVERY 3 MONTHS. I HEAT WITH OIL FROM THIS COMPANY AND I HAVE AN ON GOING SERVICE WITH THEM.

PETRO CLEANED AND OVERHAULED THE HEATING SYSTEM IN MY HOME. I THINK THE PRICE IS A BIT HIGH, BUT I HAVE BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES THEY HAVE PROVIDED.

I HAVE A SERVICE PACKAGE SO PETRO'S CHECKS ON MY FURNACE ALL THE TIME. I AM 72 AND HAVE BEEN USING PETRO'S ALL MY LIFE, EVEN BACK WHEN IT WAS CALLED MANNIX. THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE.

THEY WERE A SATISFACTORY COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH. MY HUSBAND DOES MOST OF THE CONTACT WITH THE COMPANIES BUT WE WERE HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED WITH THIS COMPANY.

IN MY OPINION I FEEL LIKE THEY ARE RATHER EXPENSIVE, BUT THEY ARE VERY EXPERIENCE IN THERE FIELD. I HAVE HAD THEM FOR A FEW YEARS. THEY DO EXERCISE GOOD POLICES.

I HAVE WORKED WITH THE TEAM FROM PETRO'S FOR YEARS. I HAVE NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK, BUT THE PRICES ARE REALLY HIGH. I GUESS THAT I DECIDED THAT IT WAS WORTH PAYING THEIR PRICE TO KNOW THAT THE QUALITY WAS EXTRA GOOD.

PETRO HAD TO WORK ON THE BOILER FOUR OR FIVE TIMES TO GET THE WORK DONE CORRECTLY. THEY BROUGHT IN A COMPANY FROM CANADA TO DO THE WORK AND THEN WE HAD AN EVEN LONGER WAIT TIME FOR THE REPAIR. THEY REPLACED PART BY PART SO I FELT THEY REALLY DID NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING.

THEY ARE A PRETTY GOOD COMPANY. THEY SERVICE MY HEATING/AC SYSTEM YEARLY. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM, AND THEY DO A GOOD JOB. I WILL CONTINUE TO USE THEM.

MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH PETRO WAS VERY GOOD BECAUSE THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE ON TIME TO DELIVER THE OIL AND IF I EVER HAVE ANY QUESTIONS I KNOW THAT I CAN CALL AND THEY WILL BE ANSWERED RIGHT AWAY.

WHEN IT CAME TIME TO SIGN UP AGAIN, I WAS GOING TO SWITCH COMPANIES. THEY CALLED AND ACTED LIKE I HAD AN UNPAID BILL TO GET ME TO SIGN UP AGAIN. I FELT LIKE THEY WERE SCAMMING ME AND I TOLD THEM SO.
