Description of Work: Very good experience. Competitive price. Crew did a great job of repairing yard after trenching for gas lines.

Description of Work: The company delivered home heating oil without our permission on more than one occasion. We made it clear from the start by noting on our account that no deliveries were to be made without us contacting them first. | |On one occasion, I happened to be at home, looked outside and saw a man on the property getting ready to place oil in the tank. I told he that we didn't ask for a delivery and didn't need oil. He kept insisting, as if this were his property and he had a right to deliver oil, no matter what. He finally retreated. | |My husband contacted the company again and told them that no one was to deliver oil without our first contacting them. We do not use much oil, as it is not the sole heat source for the home. The tank is very large and should only need filled one a season. | |We were fine throughout the winter, which was very cold for an extended period. The company came to our home at the end of March and claimed to fill the tank. The tank actually did not need filled, however the claimed, from the invoice to have delivered hundreds of gallons of fuel. They left a whopping bill, which we had planned for fall. This was during a time where our money was budgeted for different things and not for oil. We were VERY disturbed by this and my husband contacted the company right away. | |The staff is rude and discourteous. We paid the bill right away, but remain very dissatisfied. We've noted that we do not authorize ANY further deliveries from them and reiterated that we initially utilized their services for maintenance purposes mainly but after they had our money, we were no longer satisfied with the manner in which they run their business. | |We were hip to this type of practice of claiming to have delivered so much fuel when we had moved into a new home years ago and was on propane until natural gas lines were ready. | |Petro is an unscrupulous company. | | | |
