Baltimore Window Factory

So we were worried with all the bad reviews. However, two of our family members had used Baltimore Window Factory and were very happy with the product. I was expecting the worse due to the web reviews. The customer service is not the best. Understand that they are the manufacturer. They deal mostly with contractors and as such are very short and to the point. From order to instillation was three weeks! The installer came on time and worked throughout the day. He was polite and efficient. I was extremly happy with the product and the instillation. Everything was done on time, under budget and I am very satisfied with the product.

We had Baltimore Window Factory to replace about 10 windows in our rental property. They came in on time and finished the work. But when we dropped by to confirm, some of the windows were incomplete and we had to call them back to come back to finish the job. They did come back and finish the job. But few weeks later, when we had heavy rain, we noticed that the window is leaking and creating the pool of water in our basement. We called the general contractor to see what's going on. He confirmed in writing that the window was installed incorrectly and thus created the leak. We called the Baltimore Window Factory to report this issue and asked for them to be fixed and fix our house as we had to replace portion of dry wall and carpet was it caused the leak. Baltimore Window factory came out few times to inspect the window and stand on their ground that it was not the problem with the window. After back and forth, they did offer $1,000 to settle the claim but we did not take it. We had the general contractor to fix our newly installed windows and it fixed the problem and no leak again. I am not sure how the Baltimore Window Factory can claim that it wasn't their fault when you can clearly see it coming through the window. We used them before, but we will never use this company again.

From my initial meeting with Mr. Jesatko I was very pleased with the professional manner in which the presentation was given. I was told what my options would be and shown pictures that related to those options. I told him that I wanted the windows to be energy-efficient and cost-effective. My choice of widows filled those requirements. He did a measurement at that time and then a second representative was dispatched a few days later to double check the measurements. I was called when the windows were ready to be installed which was about 2 weeks later. A date was confirmed and the installers arrived in a timely manner, worked quickly and efficiently, and cleaned up all the debris that was associated with the dismantle of the old windows. I was extremely pleased with their work ethic. My new windows have already made a difference in the way my home feels inside. I would definitely use this company again.

They were not honest. They refused to accept the responsibility for the fact that they made the windows too big. They offered to redo them and then they made them too big again. I canceled the check so we didn't pay them.

SOME OF THE WORK IS NOT OF QUALITY. THE BIGGEST PROBLEMS SEEMS TO BE WITH THE CAULKING PROCEDURE THAT SEALS THE WINDOWS. A LOT OF CAULK WAS USED IN AREAS WHERE PERHAPS OTHER FILLER MATERIALS OR TRIM SHOULD HAVE BEEN USED IN PLACE OF THE CAULK.

I FELT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB GETTING THE JOB DONE. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY THE WAY THEY TREATED ME AS A CUSTOMER. WHEN THEY COMPLETED THE JOB THEY ASKED ME IF I WAS SATISFIED AND IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS TO GIVE THEM A CALL.

I WOULD NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THEIR PRODUCT IS BELOW TO AVERAGE. THEIR SERVICE WAS BELOW AVERAGE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THEY DID NOT CARE THAT THEY DID AN AVERAGE JOB FOR SUCH A HIGH PRICE.
