William is the most caring and giving Realtor i've seen in the industry. His attention to his clients and his volunteer work in the community has set him apart. Not only does he have the A+ knowledge a Realtor needs to help a wide variety of clients but he goes the extra mile even after the transaction is done. I currently work in the Mortgage Industry and its a pleasure to have the support of a Realtor who is going to guide his clients before, during and after.

William is by far the most diligent, hard-working, thorough and knowledgeable agent I've ever worked with. He is very strong in the area of communications, not only keeping us informed of every aspect of the transaction, but also anticipating things we might need to do and gently reminding us to take care of the things he could not do for us. Most important, I believe he is a man of complete integrity who works at being honest and transparent. So many agents are smooth talkers who over-promise! This is not William! In the purchase of my first home in Columbia, William went begond the call of duty by driving me around Columbia, looking at homes and neighborhoods, until I felt comfortable making a choice. He also handled all aspects of the long-distance transaction, including working with me, my brother, and my daughter to complete all needed powers of attorney, etc. so that we did not need to return to the East Coast. It was an amazingly smooth transaction. In buying my current home with my daughter and son-in-law, William had the patience of Job. We looked at house after house after house, changed our plans about the timing of our move several times, and probably would have exhausted a lesser agent. William remained as calm and pleasant as ever throughout the process, even through the short sale part, which was making us extremely nervous. In selling my first home in Columbia, William counteracted the slow market by making sure we had excellent internet exposure, several open houses, and lots of "buzz". Sure enough, his efforts produced a buyer in less than half the time we expected and at about 95% of our asking price. William is a gem. You would be lucky to have him represent you.
Description of Work: William has helped me and members of my family in the purchase, sale and rental of several properties. For this review, I'll limit my comments to the three that most directly involved me. 1. In 2007, I was living in Seattle, Washington and planning to move to Columbia, Maryland to be near my daughter. I had one visit to Columbia for about 3 weeks, during which I hoped to find a house for myself and my brother. Because I am physically handicapped, I needed a one story home. William found several for me to consider, drove me to each of them, and then assisted in completing the purchase long distance after I returned to Seattle. 2. In 2010, my daughter, son-in-law and I decided to purchase a home together and wanted one that would accommodate three very active children, a handicapped adult (myself) and a couple who love to entertain. William patiently took us to see many, many houses. (I hesitate to estimate but think there may have been 25 or so). Finally, after months of searching, we found what we thought would be the perfect house at a reasonable price. It was a short sale, so William kept track of all the process issues for us and we completed the purchase in June. 3. When we bought the new house, my brother and I decided to sell the one we bought in 2007. We were prepared to rent it if we could not find a buyer in a reasonable time. Even in this terrible market (for sellers), William managed to find a seller for us in 3 1/2 months and we are now in the process of preparing for settlement.
