+ -1 moreThe refinisher provided a price bid on the back of his business card without detailing the services. It was one of the lowest prices, but lacking a written description of the proposed work I did not select him. I cannot speak to the quality of the work, but the lack of a detailed quote eliminated him from consideration.
Description of Work: Needed hardwood floors and stairs refinished.

+ -1 moreot a single complaint. Mr. Thomey provided a timely estimate and the price was very reasonable. The installers arrived on time and installed the new floor and refinished/stained all of the floors so well that the entire first floor looks as though it were installed at the same time. Instead, 1/3 of it is brand new and 2/3 was installed 30+ years ago. Fabulous work. I've had comments from people who have seen the floors, astounded at the beautiful job they did making it run seemlessly from the existing hardwood to the new.
Description of Work: Installed new hardwood floors in kitchen to match and run continuously and seemlessy with/into existing hardwood in neighboring room. Sanded and refinished existing hardwood in neighboring/adjacent dining and living room area and stained new kitchen hardwood floors, all to match.

+ -1 moreGreat experience he gave estimate to provide material and labor but we decided to get the wood ourselves.
Description of Work: Had Thomey's install hardwood floors that I had purchased. I handled the removal and they did the install.Had gotten a quote if he supplied material but did not have the style I was looking for. He was very good aboutall aspects of the job. Would recommend.
