Mr. Sullivan was very professional but I had a problem with his estimate. It was itemized but did not give the cost of each item. He said that clients tend to get overwhelmed by the details. I am single woman. I was insulted because I seriously doubt he would have done that to a man. His estimate was unreasonably high which I attribute to my living in a nice neighborhood and his assumption that I am a gullible woman. I take a great deal of pride in my intelligence and level of education! I have a Bachelor of Arts, a Bachelor of Science, a Masters in the Art of Teaching and I am a state certified Special Educator. I wonder what the estimate would have been if I were a man in a less affluent neighborhood.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new 2-story addition. We have an older, brick home, and were very concerned that the addition fit in with the existing structure (as opposed to a box added to the end of a house). ,John worked with an experienced architect to achieve an off-the-back addition that fits in perfectly. He even added some surrounding brick that matches the old brick, so the design flows with the existing structure. The design incorporated everything on our and quot;wish listand quot;, and was within our budget (walk-in closet, bonus room, laundry out of the basement, master bath w/ linen closet, half-bath downstairs). No other contractor came close. The quality is great. The addition is beautiful, functional, and we couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend this company!!!

Really nice guy. Responsive (responsive enough for a contractor). He wasn't keen on doing the job due to the dense urban location and due to it being a job without finish work, but gave me an estimate for a finished job anyway. Thanks.

Excellent job, the builder is very detailed. Hardie shingle siding was installed over block, a new portico was cut into the roof line. The older front door was replaced including all trim. all overhangs and trim boards were replaced with vinyl as needed. A stone facade was installed over the chimney. All work beautifully done.

The quality of the work is outstanding. After some additions and subtractions and changes requested by me, we came within a couple of hundred dollars of the budget.
