ROOS KITCHENS AND BATH DESIGN STUDIO

The estimate and design process went very smoothly. The remodeling project began and ended on schedule. Every concern or question was answered promptly. The whole project was much less stressful than we anticipated. Each Roos employee was competent and friendly.

They did not perform any original work other than adding aesthetic appointments to the cabinet and appliance layout that we had already done. Much to our surprise, one of the designs they presented to us did not even have a pantry, and another placed the dishwasher on the opposite side of a different island from the kitchen sink! Two things we specifically requested were recommendations for lighting and electrical outlet placement. During their presentation they told us that electrical outlets were required by code for kitchen islands but said we would have to figure out how to incorporate the outlets into the cabinetry. We expected that, as the kitchen design and construction specialists, they would at least provide some advice on how to do this without compromising the visual appeal of the cabinetry. Many concerns and desires expressed to them were not addressed. Additionally, the drawings they provided lacked dimensions so we could not use them had we chosen to do so.
