 + -1 moreWhat a gem of a find Mr. Rains was! Courteous, Kind, Professional, Fair! I'd been looking for someone to make a slipcover for a chaise for several years, with no success. Other companies wanted to re-upholster the chair and THEN make the slipcover. I would also have to bring the chaise to them or pay a fee for pick up and delivery! Mr. Raines was informative about his process, his price was VERY fair and the workmanship is beyond spectacular! I could not be happier. He even came to MY house to measure, fit, and then deliver and install within 2 weeks! I had extra material left over and needed new 4 kitchen chair cushions that are a custom fit! Don't look further. Call Richard Rains for Upholstery work!

 + 1 moreRichard was so pleasant to work with and most importantly, his craftsmanship was outstanding! I love the final product he made for me. He listened to my vision/looked at reference pictures, he offered really helpful advice, and he was timely in his construction of the slipcovers. He also even gave me a little discount to compensate for gas, as I was driving my chairs to him over an hour away, in Pennsylvania. I am just delighted with the end product and I can't stress enough how good his work is. Real quality. I would definitely recommend him for slipcovering and I am picky!

Mr. Rain is personable and a good listener whose experience and knowledge becomes clear as he asks questions, presents options and gives "advice." His helpful tips for fabric selection and sources saved us money. He was punctual and professional for the visits and had pleasant conversation during the measuring, cutting and fitting. The time between cutting and final fitting/installation was as promised. The quality of fit and finish more than met our expectations and the price was competitive. We look forward to working with him again.

Richard Rain Slipcovers offers the following services: I provide any type of slipcovers from plain to decorative slipcovers. My prices are comparative but my work is exceptional. I can also provide new foam and Dacron cushions if needed. Other items we do: Pillows, tablecloths, table runners, indoor & outdoor cushions and many other items you may need to cover. Call me to see if I can do it.
I don't sell fabric, I only provide labor and material to create your slipcovers (thread, welting, lining, zippers and if needed Velcro).
