I had to take the old one out and put the new one in. They did excellent. They helped me out in that they got the new furnace in by the next day. They talked to the manufacturer and had it delivered quickly. They are very professional.

I like them. They get an A, I have been using them for years.

I had used No-Frost about ten years ago to completely replace the furnace and heat pump in my townhouse and also add an Aprilaire furnace humidifier. I chose them at that point not only because they were the low bid but because they explained everything clearly, provided great documentation and also were a Trane dealer and offered a ten year warranty. The installation and service in my townhouse were first rate and I had no trouble at all with the system for over ten years. We moved to another house less than a year ago and inherited a system with a very old furnace humidifier that the previous owner had not been using, had disconnected the supply and drain lines, and it had no filter. I called two contractors for estimates on replacing the unit. The first contractor sent a crew out to look at the system and give an estimate. When I called No-Frost, Eileen quoted me a price over the phone that was half the price of the other contractor. They would also give me a furnace/heat pump system check at no charge. Given my history with No-Frost, it was a No-Brainer. They were able to schedule within a week with an Aprilaire 600 with the advanced humidistat. The tech arrived on time. Our furnace and water heater are both tucked into a closet in our finished basement and there is not a lot of room to maneuver. Additionally, since we were replacing an existing installation, the new humidifier needed to fit in the same space. Initially, the tech had serious doubts about whether the new humidifier was going to fit. After some deliberation, we decided to give it a try. About twenty minutes later the tech called me down and showed me that it actually fit perfectly, with more than enough room open the unit to change the filter. Additionally, we had requested the Aprilaire unit with the automatic exterior humidity sensor. The tech explained to me that he had that system installed in his house and was not satisfied with the performance. There was a way to modify the installation to avoid running the outside sensor and improve performance, which he did. During the free system check, the tech also pointed out that there were signs of black mold inside the furnace. I had also previously noted some mold on one of the ceiling air vents. The tech gave me a recommendation for a duct cleaning company. Within two hours the installation was complete. There was an existing PVC drain line that went into the floor in the utility closet that we used for the humidifier drain. The system ran for about twenty minutes and all was well. About ten minutes after the tech had left, I started getting a puddle of water on the floor around the PVC drain. I shut the unit off and immediately called No-Frost. Eileen told me she would send the tech right back. Within ten minutes he was back, and he determined that there was a problem with the drain line that went into the concrete floor. I would need to call a plumber. Amazingly, I was able to get a plumber, Robert Bookhultz, out within two hours. They snaked the drain line to the outside, excavated the end (which had been buried under 6 inches of dirt), and added a 12 foot extension. Drain problem solved. The humidifier works great. Our HVAC system is about 15 years old and I will certainly call No-Frost when it is time to replace it.

The guy showed up at 9:20, asked me some questions, diagnosed the unit and was all done by 10am. Unit is working properly. I was very happy that they responded so quick and their tech was quick and very courteous and I was not over charged. Hopefully nothing else goes wrong with my furnace and if it does I'll call these guys again.

The service tech came on time. He checked the humidifier, did not think anything is wrong with the unit. He explained everything to me and offered useful tips. He also changed the water filter for me and made minor adjustments here and there to make the humidifier operate better. After Angie's List member discount, cost of service is very reasonable.

I give them A's all across the board. They were highly recommend on Home Advisor so I went with them. They are very friendly and make you feel very comfortable like your neighbors.

The work was done nicely. Although there as a mix up about the timing and the tech guy came before the estimated arrival time, they took care of the work.

I had a good experience with them. It was one of those Angie's special, $69.95. It was very satisfactory, a very good experience. I would use them again. It was a promotional thing, so obviously it was very satisfactory.

They were right on time. Every time they came, they came right when they said they would.

Had a problem with scheduling, day before my scheduled appointment they called to reschedule because they had been flooded with emergancy repair calls. Made a second appointment and they did arrive on time. Job went very well.

Great. Clint diagnosed the problem very quickly. He had the part and within minutes the house began to warm. Clint was very courteous and knowledgeable. I had called No Frost just the day before and was happy they came early the next day on time with a call telling me Clint was on his way

Called to set up estimate visit for new HVAC. Two hours after not arriving during the scheduled time period, I called them and was told they could not come that day; they had too many emergencies. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I set up another time. They did not arrive that day and my call to them was answered by an answering service who only took a message. They did not return that call for 48 hours.

Good. The part was covered under warranty and the company checked it out for me. The only complaint was I was charged for the time the worker sat in the car waiting for office to get back to him. The office was on the phone with another technician at the time.

The technician was helpful and professional. But the price was more than we had expected.

We were very impressed this company. We had some other estimates that were comparable in price. We chose them because of there respect for us. They were prompt, answered any questions and concerns and completed the job when they said they would.

This was my first experience with No-Frost and I must say I was pleasantly surprised at how professional the entire service call was. This is how all service companies should be. Clint showed up during the stated arrival window and immediately went to work after I stated what I thought the issue was. He had the A/C unit back up and running in about an hour due to a quick diagnoses of a failed pole contractor on the external compression unit. Clint took care to use shoe covers when walking through our house and was pleasant to deal with.

First time using No-Frost. Selected them off Angie's List. I got a call from the office letting me know that Eric P. was on his way. He explained everything that needed to be done and issues he found. I felt like he took his time and gave attention to the units, didn't rush the service. I was very happy and satisfied. I've used other vendors in the past and the quality of service didn't compare. Will use these guys again in the Spring.

Clint, the service tech showed up around noon, and went right to work. Within 15 minutes he diagnosed several possible problems, and systematically went through the possibilities until he found some corroded wiring in the evaporator unit. 10 minutes later, my unit was working! Clint cleaned up his work area, and presented the reasonable bill for service without upcharging of upselling. It was a great experience, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

They are a great company to work with - fair prices and always prompt. We were sad to leave them behind when we moved away.

I would recommend this company to everyone. They were super friendly and helpful on the phone and the technician that showed up went right to work, was efficient and explained to me what was needed. The price was great and I was getting cool again within a couple of hours after I called them. I could not ask for better service.

No-Frost replaced our 32 year old heat pump located in the attic of our home. They provided cost estimates for several systems so that I could compare initial cost vs. effecencies. After selecting the system I wanted, I scheduled a date for installation. The office call the morning of installation before Eric and Eric arrive at 8 a.m., introduced themselves. After showing them where everything they needed, they put down protective drop cloths and was worked non stop until the installation was complete. The office staff even registered the system for the warranty and mailed me copies for my record. They told me they like to do this because the difference of leaving it for the customer, who might forget is a 5 year system warranty vs. a 10 year warranty. I felt that was a thoughtful gesture. Thanks No-Frost.

One of my AC compressors was not starting correctly every time. If it did start, it would run fine, but on hot days, when it would cycle frequently, (i.e. cool to target temp, stop, temp would heat up, thermostat would send signal to restart, and eventually the compressor would not restart). I don't remember the exact explanation, but I think there's a small fan linked to the capacitor. The fan provides some cooling to the capacitor which is stressed at startup time. Eventually the capacitor burned out because it wasn't getting its appropriate fan/cooling. First, this is a pretty specific problem. I'm fairly technical myself, and my father can fix anything. We had isolated the issue to the capacitor, but could figure out why it had failed. This is a large home and the large capacitor, so it really was a job for a professional -- capacitors offer plenty of opportunities to electrocute yourself pretty severely if your a "do-it-yourselfer." The No-Frost tech diagnosed the problem within a few minutes and explained it in detail. I called my old man to see what he thought, and confirmed that would definitely explain the problem. Second, the appropriate replacement part was an all-in-one capacitor/fan combo part specifically made by the vendor. Because my unit was a larger-than-typical unit AND these guys rushed out pretty much same day (or next morning -- I think it was a Friday going into a 95 degree weekend). The tech didn't have that exact part on his truck. He gave me two options, he had the same size capacitor and fan unit separately, so he could merge those together and get the unit functioning right then and there, or he could order the part and come back some time the following week -- he called the warehouse and they didn't have it in stock (my compressor is large and 10-years old). Given the weather, and everything else, I had him build the setup I needed, took him about 20 minutes to link the fan and capacitor together and the AC unit was humming along again shortly thereafter. I loved that he took the time to explain the problem in detail. He could tell i was "tinkerer," yet he was very politely patient with my ignorance (I had no idea the capacitor required its own cooling). I loved that he gave me the choice on waiting for the vendor's "officially sanctioned" part or just getting the unit working, and that he took the time to explain why this wasn't a risky workaround. I gave him a nice tip and emailed my neighborhood HOA email group the contact details as a reliable, trustworthy and well-priced service provider who will always go the extra mile for the customer. These guys fixed my furnace a year earlier when I nearly burned my house down by not paying attention to my intake... Would and have definitely recommend these folks for any HVAC needs.

I left a message late Thursday afternoon with Eileen (after they were closed) and got a call back early Friday morning. The service engineer, Clint, arrived within 30 minutes -- now that is what I call response time! This is actually the second time Clint has been to my home; back in March, he repaired my gas furnace when it stopped igniting. Clint immediately diagnosed the problem as the capacitor for the fan, not the compressor as I had assumed. He had everything he needed on his truck and the repair was completed in less than 30 minutes. On an unrelated note, Clint realized I have a gas leak at my generator. He helped me locate it and shut off that gas line until I can get a plumber out to fix that. Everything about No Frost is an incredible experience from Eileen in the front office to the service engineers (Clint) doing the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing HVAC work.

I called them on Monday morning and by Monday afternoon Clint had come out and fixed my unit within an hour! He also noticed I was using the wrong size filter in my unit and measured it for me and gave me the correct size to buy. I would highly recommend No-Frost!! Great service and it was at a reasonable price!
