Both the scheduler and the technician were friendly, polite and timely in the interactions I had with them. I can't comment on quality or cost due to my inexperience with this type of service. I haven't used the air conditioner much yet, so time will tell. I do at this point intend to have them come this Fall to service the furnace as well. It was a good experience.

Description of Work: Have used this provider on several occasions. For rental property and current household needs. Each time they have been professional, responsive, and attentive to our needs. Back in July our rental property's air conditioning system would not work. No Frost was booked with calls since it was so hot and everyone seemed to be having similar problems. They were booked solid for days. When we explained the situation they were flexible and sent someone out on their way home from work since they lived in the area. Within no time the unit was up and running.

Description of Work: Our furnace was dying and since we've had a cool spring, we still needed it. They came right out to first diagnose the situation, tried to fix it, but we all realized that with the age of the furnace, it wasn't worth spending a lot. They patched us up until our schedule was open for them to come out and install. Very professional, friendly, helpful. Would definitely call them again.

Description of Work: The AC unit outside my house has been sinking into the ground and pressing against the house due to water pooling around it. They came out and gave a free estimate. They were able to work with the timeline of the landscape company that was coming out to regrade the ground and install a drain to correct the pooling. NoFrost came out and disconnected the AC unit and moved it elsewhere on the property so the landscaping could be done. They will be coming out now that the ground is fixed to reinstall the AC unit. So far they have always been on time and call about 30minutes before arriving which is nice so I don't get caught off guard. Also, they give you a 2-4 hour window of when they will come but they usually come around the earliest time given. Very happy with the service,

Description of Work: My heating unit wasn't working and the following day the technician arrived on time and performed maintenance and repair. He did not have one part but made a call to the supplier and returned in less than an hour with the part and completed the job. Truly professional service.

Description of Work: I called Eileen at 8:45 am to schedule someone to come out and look at our furnace (we'd been getting cold air from the vents and had some pretty chilling mornings as the weather was starting to turn). I told Eileen that someone would be home all day and she said she'd check her schedule and get back to me. In less than an hour, I was contacted by our technician, Matt, and he was at our house in less than 15 minutes after that. He looked at the furnace, cleaned some connections, and suggested replacing the igniter (which I did). So, in less than 2 hours from the initial call to Eileen, the work was done and the house was at a comfortable temperature. We will definitely use No-Frost again if we have any heating or A/C issues.

They were courteous from contract to completion. They arrived when they said they would and performed an expert installation in a reasonable period of time. They worked continuously until finished. John explained the operation of the new programmable thermostat and everything is working fine. I would not hesitate to use them again and would readily recommend them to others.

Description of Work: Called No Frost on Monday as upstairs air not functioning. The receptionist explained they were busy with existing customers, it would be Friday at earliest and maybe i should call other companies. I told her that if it would be Friday I would wait as I wanted them to do the work, she said ok, she would call friday morning to let me know what time. I finally called as she didn't call back and they cannot do the work today after all, couldn't even say if it would be next week. I wouldn't have waited all week if they said they would not be able to come. Obviously Angies list is working very well for them and they do not need any new customers at this time. Understandable, but I won't be waiting in all morning for them again.

Description of Work: I decided to write a report on this company even though they did not perform the work, because Eileen returned my call within minutes of contacting her office. She called to explain that her company does not service oil burning furnaces, which is what I have. I appreciated her responsiveness and suggestions she made to try to help my situation even though the service I needed was not provided by her company. That is the perfect example of professionalism.

Description of Work: No-Frost helped us stretch the life of our old system, then gave us a competitive price for a new one. The work was performed today, they installed a new HVAC, new water heater, humidifier and HEPA filter. The guys were here a few minutes early and worked hard all day long until the installation was complete. John walked us through the maintenance and gave us a tutorial of the new thermostat. He had us do a practice run to be sure we felt comfortable changing the filters and replacing the doors. They did a great job with clean up and took great care to protect everything in their path. No-Frost has always called when they said they would call, arrived at the scheduled time, taken care of our needs and been very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Description of Work: A/C went out last night. We woke to a hot house and called No-Frost in the morning. They said they would try to get someone out today and had someone there by 1:00pm Replaced a capacitor and was on their way within 30 minutes. Excellent job!
