+ -1 moreGood. Both of my garage door openers had problems. Filing the claims by phone was easy and the service providers contacted me within 12 hours for repairs. Deductible for each visit was $100.
Description of Work: Purchased a 1 year warranty when I bought my new home. Covers major appliances, HVAC (any number of units), water heater, garage door openers, plumbing, electrical, and roof.

+ -1 moreFiling a claim can be a pain. I have had to wait on hold for 45 min before I got to talk to someone. They said they were experiencing higher than normal call volume. Sure. Then how come other times I call I had to wait a long time as well? I had a problem getting a service tech out to work on the A/C unit. I was told by 3+ companies that they no longer worked with HomeTrust because they had payment issues with them or they were not willing to come out 1 hr + drive out to work on my unit. Hometrust needs to maintain their list of providers better so the people that they assign the work will actually come out and do it. Once I was able to get someone out to my house to perform the work, things went smoothly and all I had to do was pay my co-pay.
Description of Work: They provide a home warranty for water softener, water well mechanical, heating system, central AC and heat pump, plumbing systems, water heater, attic, ceiling and exhaust fans, electrical, garage door opener, kitchen refrigerator, range, oven and cooktop, instant hot water dispenser, garbage disposal, trash compactor, built-in microwave, dishwasher, roof leak, septic mechanical, clothes washer and dryer.
