Eco Care Pest Management

We like them a lot and we've been using their service for seven years now. The guy who runs the company has a degree in entomology. In the past we had bees in the attic and they took care of those. We have an annual contract with them and they tell us when they are here but otherwise I don't have much contact with them. They always ask if there is any problem so that they could fix it. They do a great job overall.

I called Eco Care about a very bad Ant problem. I expressed my fears with having small kids and pets in the house. Eco took the time to answer all of my questions and provided MDT for all chemicals to be used. I was still able to set up the appt that very same week. It took Eco Care a few trips to get my pest problem under control. BUt they did it. There techs also took the time to explain what when and where about the pest problem. While we had a misunderstanding on Appt time, Eco Care's Professionalism and Responsiveness was spot on. I am very happy and have called them for more work outside of the Ant Problem.

They were right on time, and they did a good, thorough job. It's much better, but I'm seeing some ants.

I have signed up with their annual plan and they do 4 quarterly treatments. They also come out whenever I call them if I have a problem. They responded promptly when I called them and explained what they were doing. They also helped me trouble shoot an outdoor pest problem.

Went very well. Charlie was very professional, courteous and did a wonderful job!

They do environment friendly extermination. They do a good job. I rate them high overall. I will continue to use them in the future.

We have a yearly contract with them so they come out periodically. They do the inside and the outside of our house. We pay them just once yearly. I can't remember how much we spend, but I know it's reasonable. The job went well. They came on time. They got rid of the ants. We called them since a couple more times when we saw more ants and they came out quickly. The people that did the work were very nice and the kind of people you don't mind coming into your home. It's working out well. When I talked to the man on the phone who might have been the owner, he seemed very knowledgeable about insects. My impression of the company was not like those companies that want to use a lot of chemicals. Eco Care wants to use the least amount and the least harmful. I liked that about them.

Punctual and professional. I really like the fact that they come out to do spots in the house when issues come up with no extra charge since I paid for the Annual service. They say that their products are eco-friendly and harmless to pets, so that's great. They have been able to come out fairly quickly- love that.

It went well. They were very prompt and easy to work with. After the treatment, we didn't have any other problems.

I called Eco Care to find out about their termite system. The owner called me back within a couple hours. Explained the process, gave a price estimate and we set up a time to have a service tech come out to the house to inspect. I believe the service tech was some what new, and I must admit he was a little odd. But the owner had sold me on the job so I moved forward. The inspection process took about 1 hour but I belive it would be shorter with a more experienced person. The quote was exactly what the owner told me. They came back approx a week later to put the bait traps out. They called beforehand to set up the appt and since everything is outside told me I didn't need to be there unless I wanted to. They left the receipt and left my outside yard looking like they hadn't done anything. I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

They monitor the detectors 3 times a year. They have been great. They haven't found any termites yet.

My wife called to make an appointment and they suggested the problem was bees after asking my wife a few questions. That was a relief in itself (i.e., not termites). Travis showed up the next morning, found the entry point near the roof, suited up, and applied the treatment for a yellow jacket void nest. Problem solved. Eco-Care was the second company I consulted on this problem. The first guy apparently thought I was hearing things and could only suggest tearing into the wall to see if we found anything. Yeah, that would have worked well. Eco-Care is at the top of my list now and will get a quick call the next time I have any pest problem.

The company was able to get a technician to my residence after 1700, which helped because of my schedule. I arrived late, around 1720, and the technician was waiting. He was very thorough in explaining the services to be provided as well as being very professional/courteous, even though I was late arriving. Once I agreed to the contract the technician performed the initial spray. The price listed is with the $25 Angie's List coupon and the quoted price for next year is $335.

We had been battling ants and were losing. Then when I cleaned the gutters I found a major infestation on the roof - several different kinds. Maybe termites? I panicked. Called Eco Care. The customer service rep put the president on the phone. He helped me understand that the mud in the gutters is where they were living and with the gutters cleaned they would leave. Also that termites and ants are natural enemies and don't live together. I scheduled a service, they showed up on time and did a thorough job. The situation was MUCH better, but we still had some ants after two weeks. Called them back and they promptly came back and sprayed again for free. Have not seen an ant since. These guys are great. I went ahead and signed up for the annual service plan. I don't think I'll ever have to worry about bugs in this house again.

Eco-care's cost estimate was considerably below the competition, and their service was excellent. We opted for the Sentricon bait system rather than a spray/poison approach (pumping insecticide into the perimeter of the house would have simply trapped already active termites inside.) Good communication, timely service, good reporting of condition to homeowner, satisfactory results (so far). We've had two follow-up visits so far, and the evidence is that their treatment is very effective and the service continues to satisfy.

Live in a multi-unit structure and had a roach problem. Called to set up an appointment and staff was extremely helpful. One of the owners got on the line with me for 15 minutes to discuss my situation, concerns and resolutions. I was extremely impressed that he took the time to help me over the phone. Was ready to send me someone the next day. The technician showed up within the expected time frame and even called to let me know when he was coming. The technician was extremely friendly and informative. He explained everything he was doing, showed me the materials he was using, what to expect over the next few days and gave me suggestions for maintenance. Service call includes a two week follow up appointment and 45 day guarantee. Did not push any additional services. I had concerns about type of chemicals being used since I have a young child...everything they use is kid and pet friendly. Treatments were working within 12 hours. Hopefully, I will not have this problem again...but would defnitely use them again and certainly recommend them to anyone.

One Saturday in April 2009 I found dozens of dying winged insects in the laundry room, I found a lesser number the next day in the same location. My husband and I did some investigating on the internet and found that they were termite swarmers and not flying ants. Well, we started looking for a company to call to get this taken care of ASAP and we came across Eco-Care. We both were interested in using products that were as eco-friendly as possible and still effective. That Monday Travis came to the house and tracked down the source of the termites, which was just outside the front wall of the house. He calmed my fears about a termite invasion and explained what treatment plan was advisable. We went with the Termite Shield Plan Sentricon System and have not seen another sign of termites since. In fact, we just renewed the plan for another year. Since Travis was at the house for the termites, we also discussed other problems we had been having with insects in the basement and the occasional mouse. We chose to get the annual Home Shield Plan for that problem and truly have noticed a marked decrease in the number of insects in the basement and throughout the house. With both plans a technician comes to the house periodically to look for any new insect activity. In September 2009, we had several mice get into the house and Travis came out again to inspect the house and find the probable point of entry into the basement. (This treatment was covered under the Home Shield Plan.) Since we have cats, who did enjoy playing with the mice!, we did not want to have any open containers of poisonous material lying around, so Travis placed several covered containers around the basement and garage. He also placed glue traps in various locations. That didn't work out as well, since our longhaired cat decided to step on one and we had to pry it off her fur! Lesson learned: no glue strips with longhaired cats! At any rate, the overall treatment has been a success and we have not had any mice inside the house since September. Overall, we really like the company. They are very professional, very knowledgeable about the subject matter, willing to explain things, and very punctual too.

I saw a mouse and freaked out. The technician was patient in explaining mouse habits, etc. I feared that if there was one there would be more, but fortunately the traps apprehended only one mouse and I've seen no further evidence of a mouse. I'm relieved. The company places the traps and bait, but does not come and look to see if you have caught a mouse. I had to get my son to do that.

The treatment worked immediately and is still working. The crickets are gone.

My experience was good overall -- I guess. I felt they were professional at all times. They offered me the contract plan, however, I was not subjected to any type of high pressure tactics to buy a contract --- I had experienced this with other companies in the past and was very appreciative of being spared this sales pitch. Since my concern was ridding my home of the 1 mouse that I had observed (or possibly more that I had not), I admit I was looking for more of a sense of security than I felt I received. Possibly, more or better communication about the matter would have solved that problem for me. In general, the guy answered whatever questions I had, but didn't offer a lot in the way of unsolicited advice or of a thorough assessment of the situation --- I guess you buy that with a contract. So far, none of the traps have caught anything (it's been about a month now) --- which I'm almost relieved by, but does not bring closure to this issue for me.

We signed up with them for insects. I think they are a little expensive than others, but I like what they do. I would continue to use them in future.

My neighbor had a carpenter bee problem and they came out the next day to take care of it. They gave me a great price and the bees were gone in no time once Eco-Care did their spraying. They are very knowledgeable and they do try to take it easy on the environment.
