They keep coming back and I am not planning on paying them.

The hedges and trees at our house had gotten beyond the point where we could take properly trim them ourselves. I called Ed based on the reviews on Angies list last week and they were able to come out within a few days to complete the work. Everything looks great! They cleaned up all of the branches and other debris and took it with them. Would definitely use them again.

It was hard to reach probably because he is out doing work the majority of the day. Once I spoke with him Ed has consistently cut my grass for a month.

I never received a response to 2 emails I sent to this provider to ask for an estimate for yard clean-up.

Ed responded to my initial phone call very quickly and due to an opening in their schedule they were able to come remove our old landscape almost immediately which we knew we were getting rid of. It took longer to figure out a plan for the new landscape so we had a very blank canvas for several weeks. A little difficult to get a good time frame for the rest but this was partly my own fault for choosing to do this late in the season and somewhat last minute. We provided examples of things we liked and didn't and allowed Ed (the son) to plan out the front landscape which turned out great and suited our tastes perfectly. They finished the project in one long, hot day and the results were great.

Overall experience was great. Called on Wednesday and got a call back in less than an hour. Ed (owner) was at my house Thursday morning to review the work and provided an estimate. The trimming work was completed Thursday afternoon. Ed is very professional, but also friendly. We will definetely use their services again when we need help with our yard.

Without much notice, I found myself suddenly in need of a lawn service. I decided to call EB Landscaping yesterday after reading all the positive reviews here on Angie's List. Ed got back to me almost immediately. He gave me a rough estimate for weekly lawn mowing and arranged to come by my house today to check out the job and provide a more accurate quote. During our phone call he also answered my questions about other services I may be interested in having them do. Even though I could not be here, he came by this morning, cut my lawn, did some trimming and left the bill at my door. He called me to let me know the job was completed and when I came home for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see that my yard looks awesome. I look forward to continuing service with Ed's company; they did a wonderful job and provided the promised work within less than 24 hrs from my initial call. The price was exactly as he had estimated and I would highly recommend them to my friends.

Ed came right away to give me the estimates. He also gave me suggestions for a back hill that keeps washing away. The first job was to level out my yard and reseed. I was worried that it would take too long and then i wouldn't have the yard for a party at the end of June. The crew on a Sunday so I could have everything done in time. It took 2 truck loads of dirt to level the yard. My husband and I would have been shoveling dirt for 2 weeks but they came prepared. A crew of about 8 guys showed up with the owners. They were quick since they had all the right equipment. They came with 2 Bob Cat's to carry the dirt which saved so much time. With all the help they brought they had it leveled and reseeded in just a few hours. The cold weather and tornado's have caused the grass seed not to grow. Even though that was no fault of the company they are sending me some more grass seed for the bare spots. I will probably call Ed back in the fall to work on the other 2 jobs. I am having work done on the back hill and to rebuild my sidewalks and patio in the back yard.

The work done was outstanding! Ed and his crew performed all the work specified. The tree stump and roots proved very challenging as the roots had grown all through the yard, under the sidewalk and into the neighbors' yards. They successfully removed the stump and roots and were able to install the boxes on both sides of my walk. I believe they went "above and beyond" to complete the work and produced excellent results. I am very pleased with the look of my front yard and have received compliments from many neighbors. I highly recommend this company!

EB Landscaping is a family owned business in Howard County, MD. I called on Wednesday for a quote, and was told that they would be available on Friday to swing by. On Thursday morning, there was a knock on the door to quote the job. My yard was a mess, and I needed weeding, pruning, edging, removal of overgrown plants, reshaping and tons of mulch. I was also in a hurry since we are hosting a party for my daughter's Confirmation on May 26th. The folks at EB squeezed our yard in before another job they had scheduled the very next day,At 9:00 am, 6 members of the family spanning 3 generations started work on my yard. They did not show up with a truckload of migrant workers like many other landscaping companies do. They communicated with us before anything was done throughout the process. They were courteous, respectful, and very good at what they do. They had state of the art equipment and were respectful our our neighbors as well.It was great to find a company that was flexible to our needs, and did a top notch job, and did not outsource. I highly recommend them, and will use them again.

This is a family owned business. They were very professional, showed up when they said they would and did a wonderful job. We highly recommend them and we definitely will have them back for future projects.

Mr. Benesch came promptly and completed my yard very quickly and thoroughly. He was able to fit me into his busy schedule even a day early and was willing to work with me as I need him for only a brief period of time.

They came by for a quote, told me they'd start on the following Sunday, and around noon that day they were here will all the machinery.This could not have gone better. The two Ed's are polite, helpful, and do good hard work for a fair price. I was surprised how much they accomplished in the time it took them. They make sure you're happy before they finish. Use them. I will.

We enjoy taking care of our property, gardening, and - although I know it's a little on the weird side - I LOVE mowing the lawn! But, we were out of the country at the end of last season and didn't do what we normally do at the end of fall. As the weather warmed, and I was anxious to get outside, it was clear that everything was a total mess! There were leaves, branches, and debris everywhere. Dreaded weeds had taken root. The grass was badly in need of mowing, but until everything was cleaned up, there was just no way I could do it. To make matters worse, hubby was called out of town for work and I was scheduled to soon be out of town. My own trip was only for a few days, but I was afraid if I didn't do SOMETHING, our homeowners association would kill me! Bottom line: I needed alot done and I needed it down FAST. ED AND SON TO THE RESCUE! Ed was at my place at 7am the morning after we spoke on the phone. We went over what had to be done, when it had to be done and we agreed on a price. I thought the price was just a little high, but I had to consider that I was asking for it to be done IMMEDIATELY at the height of the season for folks that do this kind of work. By midday, Ed, his son, and a work crew were on my property with their equipment. By the time I got home from work, my property was absolutely transformed. Even though I hadn't put in the usual Spring annuals or planted and placed our window boxes and the large pots on our steps, the property looked absolutely GORGEOUS! Every single thing I had asked them to do was done and they took care of some things that I hadn't thought to ask for. I truly got more than I paid for. These folks do EXCELLENT work, are professional, punctual, and efficient. On top of that, Ed is personable and attentive. I note that not because it's always better to work with someone who is pleasant, but because it clearly allowed him to get a better idea of what we wanted and what we needed. And let me tell you, he did indeed deliver. We will use this company again for landscaping and whatever else we need. I can't recommend them highly enough !

The process could not have been smoother from start to finish. EB Landscaping responded quickly to my inquiry, came out to provide a free estimate, discussed the project, was able to show us a rendition of what it would look like with a computer program and then performed the work quickly and when promised.

This was a wonderful experience. Ed and his team we prompt, curterous and highly reliable. The process did not take very long at all and the quality was extraordinary. I would use them again in a heartbeat!

I am so pleased with EB Landscaping's services - cutting the grass/clearing leaves, that I am hiring them to do all of my landscaping next spring/summer/fall. I am super happy with their services and would recommend them to anyone!

The work required visits over 3 days: 1 for gutter cleaning which was scheduled as quickly as possible (within 2 weeks), and 2 consecutive days for the garden edging + cleanup, and mulching. The jobs were completed efficiently, and with care - there was no extra mess during or after the work was done.

Ed (father) and Ed (son) came out at a time that was convenient to us. They were both knowledgable and offered good suggestions to address our issues for lawn repair and new & renovated flower beds. Ed Jr came back with simulated photos of bed options on his laptop. Pricing seemed reasonable. We signed the contracts and work was done soon and looks great. We are excited about seeing their work after the spring growth season.

The back yard was almost 2 feet tall due to all the rain but he got through it beautifully and even mowed it twice without charging more money. In addition, he had to roll back part of my fence to get the mower into the back. I will, without hesitation, hire Ed and his company for all of my landscaping needs. He's genuine and honest - qualities not easy to find when hiring contract work. I highly recommend him

Ed and Ed (Jr.) are very friendly yet professional and their expertise and experience is evident in both their results and when discussing projects. The work they completed was done quickly, efficiently, safely - with the care of our pets and family taken into consideration. I will definitely contact them regarding future work on our property. I called E. B. Landscaping one afternoon from work and left a message inquiring about grass cutting. I had recently had some very frustrating encounters with several other individuals, including calling a few places who never bothered to call me back. I have to say that Ed surpassed all my expectations. He called me back quickly that afternoon, then went to my address after we hung up to scope out the job and called me back with a quote. He cut the grass right then and there and left a bill for me (another guy I'd tried wouldn't cut the grass unless he had the money first!). Ed did a great job and I will be using him from now on. He's also very knowledgeable about lawn care and we've talked about a few other jobs I'll be having him do later on in the season. I highly recommend him -- he's professional, honest, he does a great job, and he's a super nice guy to deal with.
