.I'm not really sure about the weed control. I have the feeling that I'm going to have to have more work done soon, which is what I am trying to avoid. The weed control used was spraying - and that's all. I'm not sure that they came back and did a second spray as they said, because weeds are growing and not turning brown as they did the first time.

In all cases his prices were more than reasonable and the work was done professionally. He arrived on the scheduled dates and cleaned everything up after he was done. He does a fine job mowing the yard and cutting where needed, and is mindful of the tight turns our lot requires, trying to avoid cutting when he knows our yard would be too wet to not be damaged by the mower. He is easy to communicate with as well. We're very pleased with his service and hope to contact him for future projects.

Family owned business. Very personable and responsive. Stopped by to review hardscaping and gardening work needed and called back with an estimate.

We had an area in our backyard that was overgrown with weeds, undergrowth, etc. We asked EB Landscaping to come out and give us an idea of what to do and the cost. Ed, the owner, came by and suggested that we have the area sprayed to kill the overgrowth and that they would then clear and remove the debris. We agreed and hired them. We had to wait for a day of no rain to begin spraying - then a week or so later they sprayed again. The following week EB Landscaping came to remove the debris. We were not home when the service was completed but we were happy to see the change when we returned home. Ed and his son were very knowledgable and easy to work with. We would definitely hire them again for any yard projects we may need help with in the future. I have also given their name and number to a few other friends/neighbors.

Fabulous! Father and son work together. We knew they were in the middle of the busiest time of their season so we did not expect them to be able to start right away but they were in contact with us on a regular basis during the wait. On the day they arrived, they were very professional and courteous, checking with us as the work progressed, to make sure they understood what we wanted. Landscaping is an art and communicating expections is very important to getting what you want. They also made a couple of suggestions that we liked and agreed with. We also had a problem with water running through our yard when there is a heavy rain, which erodes the soil adjacent to our flower beds. They worked with us to address this issue and protect our flower beds from being affected by the erosion while we wait for our community association to fix the problem. They left our yard, driveway and the street in front of our house neat and clean. The flower beds look great and have added to the curb appeal of our house. If you need landscaping, call these guys!

We were contacted soon after I called. Our front lawn was in bad shape due to tree roots and lack of sun. Once the offending tree had been removed, we decided we needed help to improve the appearance of our front landscape. We liked the plans for shrubs and plants for the flower bed, and made only one change on a shrub before signing the contract. The old sod was removed one day, and the new sod and plantings were completed on another day. The new lawn and flowering bed look terrific. We are very pleased with the results, and would not hesitate to use E B Landscaping again.

This company has been super reliable with reasonable cost.

We are very pleased with the work Ed and his crew did for us.They deserve a A plus,our lawn is beautiful .They did everything we ask and more.They are very easy to work with,we have already set them up for next spring.

I needed some mowing done the next day bc two other companies fell through. Called Ed up at 4 the day before and he came by the next afternoon and really saved the day. Mowed and trimmed .5 acre in 20 minutes. Beautiful work, totally pleased!

Contacted me several times promising a quote but never provided it

Ed Sr. initially came to the house and accompanied me around as I explained what services my husband and I wanted done. He told me he and his crew could complete the job in about 4 hours. We agreed on when they should start the work--Ed Sr., Ed Jr., Ed Jr's son, and a cousin came to the house, on time and completed the job in ---about 4 hours as promised. They doubled-checked a few things with me first, such as where I wanted the bed cut and edged and whether I wanted the butterfly bush removed or just pruned (I thought it was dead at first--I decided "pruned"). The men were personable, friendly, answered any and all questions I had...just great folks with whom to work. Ed also told me if I decided down the road I wanted the butterfly bush removed as originally proposed, they would return to do that. A few days later, I called b/c there was "grass" growing around the 3 bird feeders in the back mulch. I jokingly told Ed Jr. that it might be from the spilled bird seed. He came out the next day, pinched a bit of the green stuff, and said yes, the seeds sprouted. He suggested a few ways to prevent that from occurring again, such as using a tarp to cover the area. He zapped the areas with weed killer, and then continued around the entire house, and zapping errant weeds as he went. Just went a little extra for me. Each time I spoke with one of the Eds, he always ended the conversation with "don't hesitate to call if you have questions." We plan to have them return and replace our paved walkway from the driveway to the house. Note: the only reason I gave them a "B" for price is b/c after reading the reviews for Ed's company, we did not bother to get a second estimate. Thanks, guys.

Ed was very accommodating to my desired schedule. Work was performed April to June at my request. Ed and his crew (family members) know their business, and performed the tasks very professionally. My property was respected, and all was thoroughly cleaned up after each visit. I could not be more pleased, and will use them again in the future.

After interviewing several firms, we settled on EB as they were professional and personable. Their price was competitive - so the decision came down "gut feeling." We made the right choice. They stripped the existing grass from our front yard; leveled and graded and laid new sod. They were punctual and stayed until the job was completed in one day. In fact, they actually returned to place sod in an area I had forgotten about, but we had discussed. They did this without charge and with very little fan fare. They were a pleasure. We are currently redoing our rear deck and if we elect to sod the back yard, will call them first.

Everything went great. I called late to have this done, but they worked us in to their schedule on a Saturday We have Gum trees in the yard and had a lot of balls and sticks in the yard. They cleaned everything up and removed two bushes that had died over the winter. They cleaned all the mulch beds and applied new mulch. The yard looks great. It's easy to work with E B as they are friendly and polite. The work looks great and we are very pleased with the results. They have helped us in the past and we will continue to call them in the future.

E B Landscaping is a great company. They are VERY easy to work with. They are HONEST!! They are professional, and their prices are very fair. They will work with you financially to ensure you can accomplish what you want to get done without making you break your bank. They have payment plans for everyone. They will make sure that you are satisfied with the job that was done and fix any problems you may have. They gave us a price for some tree removals, and the original trimmer had other obligations and couldn't do the job. They had another tree guy right away, and they even voluntarily ate the difference in cost themselves as the 2nd person was more expensive. We were extremely pleased with the job that was done on our yard, and the price they quoted us. They went out of their way to ensure that they did not get in your way while they were working, and always cleaned up after they were finished for the day. They will also teach you about landscaping as they work if you have an interest. I learned a lot about how to take care of grass and my land in general from them. They never tried to sell us anything we didn't need, which was nice. They even used materials that they had to help us build a small retaining wall made out of stones in our back yard for NO CHARGE. These guys were awesome! I would recommend E B to anyone who needs any landscaping work done.

Ed and his father and son performed this work with the proper equipment and in a timely fashion. They were responsive from my first contact with them. I was contacted by telephone with estimated times of inspection and arrival and all went as promised. They did a beautiful job and have greatly enhanced my enjoyment of the adjacent lake.

I had started trimming my thick yew hedge this summer but stopped after my tennis elbow and electric shears had trouble keeping up with it's overgrown size. After all these years of doing it myself I was particular about having someone else trim it. Found this company on Angie's List and called Ed for an estimate-- promptly received it the next day after viewing what the job entailed. The friendly crew (father/son/brother-in-law) arrived that same afternoon to trim the hedge with long professional power tools-- for the hedge was both tall and wide. I told them exactly how I like the hedge clipped and after that little supervision was needed. This job exceeded my expectations, it was completed in a timely manner and the hedge is perfect--dare I say better than what I could have done. I will certainly use this company for future bush trimmings, my tennis elbow is happy and relieved too. I highly recommend their trimming services.

I contacted EB Landscaping, along with 2 other local landscapers, back in early June to get quotes for redoing the landscaping at our house. All the landscapers were prompt in their responses; within a week all had come by the house and sent relatively close price quotes for their services. Each company had follow-up questions about specific aspects of the work to be one and each reached out through both e-mail and phone. I ultimately selected EB Landscaping after getting comfortable talking to Ed and really getting the sense that his company was committed to performing exactly the services I was seeking and producing exactly what I had tried to describe. Ed's crew arrived exactly when scheduled and jumped right into work to clear and reestablish the beds. The crew was comprised of Ed, his son, Ed's father, and another (unrelated) crew member. It was very obvious from the start that all 4 were committed to producing an excellent result. There was no wasted time, no nonsense. Each person knew what they were to do and went right to it. Along the way, as things came up, Ed would check in with me to verify what was being done was consistent with what I was expecting. I ended up asking for a couple minor changes and adding a couple (new) items to the work to be done. Ed was agreeable, gave quick pricing and went about incorporating the items to the work to be done. The job took 2 days and the results looks wonderful. We will use EB Landscaping for our future needs and would heartily recommend them to others.

The heating and a/c unit went out. To replace the unit I had to clear the trees and shrubs that surrounded it. I called EB Landscaping to do the job. They were very responsive. They did a the work quick and efficient and cleaned up nicely.

Our back yard was a jungle of overgrown bushes, invasive wild rose, forsythia, and rose of Sharon. Four men worked for two hours and cleared all the growth we couldn't tackle ourselves and removed dead bushes. There was a volunteer mulberry tree three inches round in circumference that they removed. they filled a trailer of debris just from our yard. They pruned a boxwood and azaleas. They left the yard clean and neat and even removed a brush pile we had.

We had a backyard water problem that was causing water to pool by our backyard furniture every time it rained. Ed dug a trench, put piping, and several drainage points that now have the water draining away from the furniture instead of standing there. The job took him several hours. He replaced the dirt and planted grass seed where he disturbed the ground. He has since come back and put down more seed after part of the ground was dug up because of a sliced cable, not his fault.

Ed is wonderful to work with. He listens to you and answers any and all questions you may have. He always returns phone calls. He and his family treat your home and yard with great respect. In the past, I spent many days waiting for contractors to show up when scheduled, only to wait in vain. Ed always showed up when he said he would. We knew we could always depend upon him and trust him to be there for us. It is a delight and relief to work with such great people we are friendly, listen to what you want done and then follow through on your wishes. We would definitely recommend him and we look forward to working with him again in the future.

Ed was very responsive from start to finish and used email, text, and phone to communicate which I appreciated. The finished product looked great and it was exactly as he proposed. The vines in the backyard were so intertwined with the link fencing that they couldn't be fully removed so I'm hopeful they were cut down far enough such that they won't return. Overall I thought Ed did a great job and I would definitely hire his company again in the future.

Very prompt. After visiting the yard received a quote within a day of calling. Came the next day to do the work after we accepted the quote. Other companies had proposed a month's wait or had a higher price. Transplanted a bush/tree to a new location. New planting was very neat. Used his own materials. Everything we asked for was done.
