Daniel arrived when expected; was professional, friendly and (without a hint of brusqueness) was about getting the diagnosis done. I watched him work (as I do with most repair people who come to the house) from start to finish. It was clear. He knew what he was doing. Though he had to work in an extremely small space, he managed to get under the machine to see what he needed to in order to tell me what was wrong. As it turned out, the washer was on its way to the recycle bin. It's transmission had gone bad. Daniel's advice: Get a new machine, but stay away from the fancy front loaders. Get a top-loader, instead. They're very reliable as their tubs are positioned in tune with gravity, vs the front loader's hanging tub configuration. Then, checking via his phone, Daniel told me about a sale that was going on at PCRichards and pointed out a machine he thought would be reliable and fit my needs. It was on sale for $300. I asked him to text me the link to the machine he'd found. He did, and put everything back and told us (the tenant and I) that she could continue to use the machine for a very little while, but the best and safest thing to do (he said to me) was replace the machine. Pushing its use could become a fire hazard! I was grateful for his helpful forthrightness. After he left, I put him in my book for future reference.

Very well. When it was making a lot of noise but still spinning another repair company did not open the machine and said it would be over $1000 and so to just get a new machine. That other company charged me the service fee just to come out and tell me that. D&M pulled the machine out, opened it up and told me what needed to be fixed and fixed it right then and there, no problem and it didn't cost as much as the exact replacement would have so I was happy. the washing machine has been working fine ever since with no noise.

The call was excellent. Danny was so efficient and knowledgable about LG products, which I would be quite sure he would be on any product. But cost was was the real benefit. he was less than half of what others were quoting. I am a very, very satisfied customer.

Danny showed up and was very professional. He explained what was wrong and exactly what it would cost to fix it. He even helped us clean up the melted ice on the kitchen floor. We decided to just buy a new fridge because it was cheaper than repairing the freezer.

Danny, the serviceman, took off the washer's front cover and looked over all the interior parts. His diagnosis was that the springs holding the drum might be a bit loose. He tightened the springs holding the drum steady, and that solved the problem. He also advised me my washer was on its last legs, and I would likely need to buy another next year. So, all in all, it couldn't have gone any better. This was a striking contrast to my prior service call to another company--a very well known company--which shall be nameless. That serviceman turned the machine on, noticed the drum sticking and said it was the transmission. He never opened the front cover. A new transmission cost over $700 and is no longer available. So, thank you, D&M Appliance Service!

1st repair didn't work but the technician returned the very next day to rectify the problem.

It could not have gone better. Not only was the service man punctual, he diagnosed and solved the problem after removing the front panel of the machine.

D&M has the best service that I have ever experienced! I called to make an appointment and was promptly called back by Grace, who was extremely nice and helpful on the phone. Danny came to give me a diagnosis. I was told ahead of time that there would be a $75 charge for the diagnosis, which would be forgiven if repairs were needed. Danny came and spent over 2 hours trying to diagnose the problem. He is knowledgable and extremely patient. He informed me of what he was doing and what he discovered every step of the way. He determined that my control board was malfunctioning. Unfortunately, when he returned to replace the control board, he discovered that the pump was also bad. At this point he told me that it was not worth fixing. I appreciated his honesty, but it did not end there- Danny felt so bad about not diagnosing both problems initially, that he returned $25 of the $75 diagnostic fee to me! This type of service is unheard of! Thank you Grace and Danny for your commitment to customer satisfaction. Although, it was not worth fixing my dishwasher, I will certainly highly recommend you to anyone that is in need of an appliance repair.

I couldn't be happier the refrigerator is only 4 years old and it started to make a humming noise then after a day it stopped working. My wife went looking to purchase a new one but I decided to see if it was worth fixing. I called on Sunday and it's now Monday at 6 Pm Daniel already came and fixed the problem in about an hour. He was super nice came in went right to work and told me the fan was clogged with ice and food , he was very honest I thought the compressor was blown and had to be changed he said I needed no parts again very honest. He also cleaned up very nicely he was a true gentleman.Do not hesitate to call him , I will call him again without any hesitation.

It went great. I originally thought it was a pipe leak so I had a plumber come to my house. When he looked he saw it was actually a piece leaking from the dishwasher. I called the office and the women had Daniel call me right away. I explained that I did not need someone to come out and look at it b/c the plumber already did. He asked if I could send a picture - which I did. From the picture he told me exactly what was wrong, what he would do, and how much it cost. He was very professional to work with. I called at the right time. He was at my house 2 hours later and fixed the problem. I also asked him to look at something else. It was a quick easy fix so he just included it. I will definitely use this company for all my future repliance repairs.

If you have an appliance problem, then this is the easiest decision that you will make today: The moment that Danny walks in the door, you know that this is the right guy. He is prompt, smart and soft-spoken. He diagnosed my problem in just a few minutes. His fees are reasonable. You can't go wrong here.

Danny is terrific - very knowledgeable and honest.

the gas smell was checked and it was found no gas was escaping, The machine was opened up and it was found that the wheels were leaking some oil it was cleaned up inside the machine and we had no more problems. The service was prompt and on time and they did a thorough job. I will use again.

Daniel managed to fit me in the same day. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and fixed my washing machine. I am very happy with the service, and will definitely use him again! Thanks.

My husband and I were both really impressed with how knowledgeable Danny was. He thoroughly examined our 18-year-old refrigerator, which we thought needed to be replaced, but he told us it did not need to yet even though it was now making loud noises. He also thoroughly examined our 16-year-old clothes dryer which was making a squeaking noise when it ran. He replaced the worn-out parts which were causing the squeaking (and which did need to be replaced), cleaned out lint and dirt from the interior, and oiled interior parts that needed it. He also checked the dryer exhaust for lint build-up. We also asked Danny about a noise our stove was making. He was efficient and polite. We will definitely use him again.

It was a good experience. They did not charge me more than $39. They were responding to the scheduled time. There were some laps in communication. I would use them again. Just one person came out, and it took about an hour and a half. The area was fine.

The guy came over and did exactly what they said they were going to do. He took a look at my refrigerator and let me know it would cost more to fix it than just buy a knew one. They were good.

Great, very professional. I was impressed when I called Danny to setup an appointment and he guessed the make of the dryer just by me describing the problem. He took the dryer apart and showed me where the problem was. Parts were replaced and dryer works like new again. Love the fact that they are open until 8 PM and didn't need to leave work early.

The repairman made two visits to us: First time, he spent an amazingly long time (must have been over half an hour) diagnosing the fan/microwave system. I was expecting it to be much faster, but he really took his time testing all the different parts in an effort to make sure that everything that needed to be fixed was identified in one go. After that, he went over with us what was wrong with the microwave and the parts that were needed to repair it. He was able to get the fan portion working during the first trip, but he did not have the exact right high limit thermostat unit to replace on him, so he had to come back about a week later for a second time. The second time was much faster - he just finished replacing the parts and tested the system and we were good to go. The only reason I can't give this experience an A rating is that both times the repairman arrived very late. He was about an hour late for the first visit and almost two hours later for the second visit. Both times he did call ahead to say that he was late and gave us an approximate 1-2 hour window during which he'd be coming, but you better be prepared to be flexible with the time they'll arrive. In total, we paid $210 ($67.50 as an angie's list deal, although I'm not sure if this actually lowered the total cost at all..). I can't speak to the quality of the work yet because the repair only happened two days ago, but so far everything seems to be in proper working order and I'm happy we picked this company.

Very well, professional, clean in method and instructions. And a very nice fellow/tech.

It went well. After calling Maytag for the price of the part we ok'd the replacement. The tech had the part, cleaned up any debris and everything worked well. The bill was about 3x the cost of the part. But this included his labor, the part, travel and he tightened other parts of the stove.
