Marcos and Wellesley did exactly what we needed and did it in in the most professional way. They worked around our schedule. We had an extensive kitchen remodel and also removed a brick fireplace and hearth in the family room. Unfortunately, the brick hearth sat on a concrete pad that needed to be leveled in order to seamlessly "finger-in" the the hard wood floor. They leveled it and the floor was perfect. In addition the kitchen remodel included the removal of existing walls and base cabinets. Obviously, a new hard wood floor was needed where the walls once stood. BR Flooring did a fantastic job installing both new hard wood but more importantly, "fingering-in" the hard wood. They created a seamless transition and made the floor look as if it had been installed all at once. After the floor was finished, the contractor failed to seal the water connection on the refrigerator resulting in damage to our brand new floor. Marcos came right out, surveyed the problem. Within three days he had made the repair - The floor again looked beautiful. We give BR Flooring our unqualified recommendation. The price was good and the work excellent.

I struggle with this review because once I got connected with the right person, Wesley the owner, everything went smoothly and the floors look great! Unfortunately communication and scheduling was a challenge. It took a while to get someone to measure, quote came back wrong, quote was adjusted but still wrong and finally I gave up because I couldn't get anyone on the phone to fix and explain the quote. I reinitiated contact after the summer. I left a message and Wesley called back. (He was not my original contact). After that, all went smoothly. Wesley requoted the price, explained the costs, and scheduled a time to complete the project. The work was efficient and left no mess in my house and the floors look wonderful. I would use B&r again and recommend them because of how well things turned out (and I never thought I'd say that at the start of the project.) they are worth a try!

BR flooring was great - prompt, hardworking and great attention to detail. The cost was $1,100 cheaper than the next best estimate.

I paid for the special $750 to refinish 3 rooms. I started to worry about my purchase when the initial estimator came out. I was grateful she was able to come on a Saturday but she didn't seem to know very much about the flooring industry and couldn't answer most of my questions. At the end, she gave me a very confusing verbal quote and promised to send a written quote later that day. After 3 days, I still had not received it. I emailed the company to complain. Wesley responded quickly and came out to my house to re-measure and give me an accurate quote. He was very professional and accommodating so I scheduled the work to be done while I was out of town. I felt safe leaving him a key. However, after receiving the quote and scheduling the work, communication became very difficult, as commented on by other reviewers. Not a language barrier but non-response to emails, texts or phone messages, even when I was returning their messages. After I returned to town, the floors looked wonderful. They were able to repair areas of the floor that I didn't think could be repaired. But they put on a larger size shoe molding and it looked very odd at all the doorways. I was not contacted prior to placing the larger size. I complained and Wesley came out and replaced the molding promptly. The company did a good job with the floors but the poor communication was enough to make me not recommend this company or at least I would tell someone to be prepared for communication problems. They respond well to complaints. I wish they would do a better job communicating to prevent the complaints from ever occurring.

After getting back quote, I decided to set up time for work to be done (it will make the only available bathroom off limits for 48 hrs) so i needed to coordinate alternate plans. I sent an email 2 weeks ago and left a voice message the following week. To date there has not been a response to my attempts to schedule the work. I am now out of $200 from coupon. Update as it turns out the person I spoke with no longer works with BR Flooring thus the reason for no returned calls. The crew came out and did a fantastic job, respectful, professional and understands hardwood floors. Made a recommendation based off of the type of floor and color. Looks awesome.

We started off a bit slow in the messages dept, but that was quickly addressed and tucked away… The initial estimate visit was on time, thorough, and professional - and beneficial, removing any element of surprise from the job day, itself… The work day was also punctual and professional - also, very efficient and agreeable. The floor looks great, and I would happily use the provider again - and recommend them without hesitation...

They did a fabulous job! Wesley and Marcos were very professional and kept us updated throughout the process. We were refinishing the floors in a home we just bought and they worked within our move schedule, including on weekends. They also left the house spotless. I highly recommend them.

My floors are gorgeous!! Many other companies we brought in for estimates gave us a hard time about doing the stairs, which had to be done because they were the same finish as our floors. Wesley said they were no problem right from the start. Marcus was fantastic from the second he walked into our home, asking if we wanted his guys to help my poor husband remove the carpet runner on the stairs he was desperately trying to get off before they arrived (yet proved more difficult that it looked). They were extremely professional and worked efficiently. We had experimented with stain colors (mixing them to get our desired color) and when we asked them to replicate our process, there was no issue. The color came out perfect and my floors look brand new. They stuck to the timeline quoted, which I really appreciated. We were having other construction work done in the house (that was supposed to be finished prior to their arrival) and Marcus said to just give him a call if the floor got damaged in any way with the final construction and paint work and he would come back and fix them. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. It was a fantastic experience with a superb outcome. Again, I love my floors! I get tons of compliments on them!

Wesley, Marcos and their team did an excellent job. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and worked long hours to get the job done in a timely manner. We had a tight schedule to get the work done, and they were very accommodating and agreed to work the entire weekend. On Saturday, they arrived at 8 am, worked the entire day, and asked if it was OK to stay til 10 pm to get more done! They covered all the cabinets and appliances, and cleaned up well after so there was not much dust. There was a lot of furniture to move and they were very careful about it. The floors look beautiful, even better than when they were originally installed. Their estimate was the best of 3 that I received, but I chose them because of their experience with Brazilian Cherry. I highly recommend them.

We purchased a coupon for 100 square feet of hardwood refinishing at $99.00. I measured out the area at 119 feet but I realized that it was going to cost more than $99 for the job. We scheduled our consultation appointment and the area was measured out at 130 sq ft. The total charge was assessed to be $330 (including the previously paid $99) and that included all labor, materials, changing the stain color, replacing the shoe molding and transitions. It was more than we expected but we still thought it was reasonable. We scheduled the appointment for work to commence on the following Friday morning. The workers arrived on time, and immediately set about their task. They put up a plastic barrier to contain the sawdust and shavings. We couldn't see what they were doing but we could tell they had made progress. At the end of the first day, they had completed the sanding and had applied the first coat of stain. That's where the only problem we experienced came into play - communication. The onsite workers had a very limited command of English and had to rely on their off site supervisor to interact with us. He was busy with other jobs and there was a breakdown in communication. We had to call him to find out when the workers would return to finish the job and had to follow up when they did not show up at the appointed time.. Once the workers returned on Saturday they completed the task but again, there was a breakdown in communication. The shoe molding was replaced as contracted but apparently no one told them to replace the transitions. I showed them the contract and they replaced the transitions but it added a few hours to project. That's not a complaint, just an observation. Overall, we are absolutely satisfied with the work and the results. it makes our house look years younger than it is. I would recommend this company to anyone else who needs their floors refinished.

They were very professional and considerate. They informed us that the finish on the white oak could be enhanced by using a semi gloss finish. My wife is very pleased with the way the floor looks. They suggested that we could put a third coat on and extend the life of the work, but that could be done in five years without any problem. They were very through and careful in the way the finish was laid down. As a result, the work product is of a high quality. two men worked for at least eight hours on the job, and finished it in one day.

The job went very well. Wesley was punctual when he came to give me the quote. He told me how long it would take and assisted me in selecting the right finish and color for my hardwood floors. He suggested since there was no furniture there, that the job would be cheaper. He started and finished the job as scheduled. I allowed them access to my home because I was unable to be there to supervise and I felt safe and comfortable with this arrangement. Wesley was professional at all times. When I inspected my home, there was some dust particles on the basement floor and he returned to clean it up, returned my key, and I paid the balance. The help must have also put something in my toilet which caused it to overflow, but Wesley also came and corrected the problem. The floors are impeccable!!! i would recommend them and use them again.

Our wood floor entry was badly marred from age and having our dogs run across it. I thought we would have to replace it. BR flooring contacted us promptly and came out to measure the floor and told us they could sand and refinish it with no problem. BR flooring worked with us to arrange a time that was convenient for us to have them do the work. They arrived prompt and although their sander has a dust bag, they partitioned off the rooms off the foyer to ensure cleanliness with plastic tarps. they removed all the baseboard trim molding and sanded the entry foyer, powder room, and top landing of the basement stairs, then applied the first finish coat. They arrived promptly the next day and completed touch-up, put in the new molding trim, and applied the second finish coat which dried in about 8 hours. We could hardly believe how good the floor turned out, it looks like new with a beautiful finish. I would most definitely use BR flooring again. They are reliable, fast and professional.

Co. showed up at the wrong address even though I sent 2 emails advising them that the service was not at my residence but at a rental. Service could not be done since the floor was warped due to water damage.

They were very professional and pleasant. Showed up on time and did a great job. They also went out of the way to repair some of the issues we found with the floor boards. Highly recommended.

Everything was accomplished at a lightening pace. BRHardwood came over and did the free measure in no time. He crunched those numbers and instantly gave us the cost basis (material +labor). Having already estimated with HomeDepot and LumberLiquidators, this was the best quote and I felt good about it. We already had hardwood in the foyer and we wanted something similar to match up the rest of the area. He had brought in samples along with and within no time we decided on the specific product. The next day he delivered the wood to acclimatize with the surrounding. He didn't charge anything for delivering the wood (around 60 boxes, 1500 sq ft) Monday they began the installation and completed it by Friday. They removed the existing flooring, moved the furniture around and installed the hardwood floor, cleaned the area and moved back the furniture. They also installed the backsplash tiles in the kitchen.(about 25 sq ft) I like the professionalism they showed and I'm happy and satisfied with their work. I'd highly recommend them.
