Quick service, a one day job, no problems

John is wonderful to work with! He is both friendly and professional. The work he did was outstanding. I had a LARGE amount of weeds and couldn't see how I could ever get them under control, but John did it! He also did a very nice job at removal the dead or dying trees on my property. My yard looks amazing and John is going to make it even better when he adds the pavers (hardscaping) as the finishing touch!

BlueStone did an excellent job. They trimmed things the way I wanted and they cleaned up after themselves. Thank you BlueStone!

They did well. They pulled out the weeds so that I can have vegetables on my bed.

We've used him a couple of times. The tree service was actually over his head so he hired someone else to do that work. He was very responsible and reasonable. We got multiple bids both times and he was the lowest bid.

Quality of workmanship-superb. Timeliness and punctuality-excellent. Cost reasonable. Very easy to work with. Work draws rave comments from our guests and visitors. I wish I could post pictures for you.

i called the owner on monday and left a message. he did call me back that day. he said that my voicemail was garbled was able to return my call by using the cell phone return call function. i gave him all of my conact information at this time since i was unclear in my phone message. he made it clear that he was unable to meet for estimates during the week because he was busy working. that was fine. i understand the need to work for a living. we made arrangements to meet the following weekend at my home to look at the possible work. he asked me to call him on friday to confirm. i did call on friday and gave him my contact information again because he said that he didn't have it. he was supposed to come on saturday between 1030 and 1100(after his son's soccer game). he never called. i finally called him at 1145. he said he was finishing a job(nothing mentioned about the son's soccer). he also said that he didn't have a way to contact me. not sure what that meant since i had given him the info 3 different times. and i was able to contact him via cell phone at 1145. he did offer to come later in the day, i had already made plans for the afternoon. i decided to not use his services due to noncommunication and disrespectfulness to my time for an estimate. i could assume that it would be the same behavior displayed during his work.

The landscaping company did a nice job. Most of what they did was good. The guy from the company came out with another person. My wife had a lot of flowers growing on the ground. The second guy was a little harsh with the blower and destroyed a bunch of the flowers. He apologized and they did a little extra work to make up for it, but he should have been watching the man with the blower. The price was fair because they cut down a tree in addition to the bushes. We are going to use them again.

John Cochran came out on time to give me an estimate. His estimate was roughly $500 cheaper than the other two bids I solicited. He was also the only one who was willing to substitute my requested product (bark mulch as opposed to hardwood). His crew showed up punctually (the weather did cause some delays, but not their fault!) and worked hard. They even called me to come by so I could point out what items needed to be pruned, etc. The job was done neatly and professionally.

Preparing our home for sale and needed last-minute small landscaping job. Found Bluestone on Angie's List. John was fantastic- friendly and professional. He came out quickly and gave us a bid. Understanding our urgency, he squeezed us into his schedule. John and his crew arrived promptly at our appointment time and completed the work efficiently. They made the yard look great and cleaned up nicely when done. I look forward to using John again and would gladly recommend him to others.

We needed our yard landscaped in a hurry and John was able to provide an estimate over the phone while I was still at work. He thought he would have been able to do the work described before the weekend and called me the very next day to say it was completed! We were very fortunate to find a company with such great service so quickly. John's work was spot on what he described and the yard looks fantastic!

John did a great job--responded to phone calls almost immediately, appeared when he said he would, was agreeable to our suggestions/changes, and really did the job right. He was always pleasant and available. I totally recommend him and his services.

This was the second estimate we got. We selected this company based on their Angie's List ratings. I called and initially left a message. The call was returned promptly, and arrangements made to have him come out and give an estimate on the project (it was actually two estimates: one for sod and one for seed). His estimate for seed was about the same as our previous, but the sod was substantially lower. In addition, he was able to do the work that week. We decided to go with sod because the price was about the same. He advised us that he couldn't guarantee the Bermuda grass wouldn't come back because even the Round Up hadn't actually killed it. The work was done on time, to spec, and we were happy with the result. He came around later that evening to ensure we were satisfied and collect payment, and advised us how to care for the sod. At this point we are completely satisfied.

John returned my call in less than an hour and came out to look at the area that evening. He was very easy to work with. Final cost seemed a bit high, but I really don't have any prior experience to compare it to, and the quality of the finished work is really high.

This was a difficult job because my husband used to do it, but had gotten sick. There were many vines that they had to remove without harming my azaleas. John Cochran made me feel that they were competent and would get the job done well. There was only one problem, they did not clean up very well. They left the clippings as mulch because they had run out. I understood that, but they did not clean up around the patio. They did clean-up the front yard. There clean-up was average, but everything else was fine. I would definitely use them again, but I would be sure to be there the whole time so that everything was cleaned up.
