Description of Work: They created a berm to help mitigate soil erosion from a water drainage pipe.The work was excellent and timely. In addition, they took down 2 dead trees and planted a new one. I am very pleased with the work that was done. The owner, John Cochran, maintains excellent communication throughout the process of getting the work done.

Description of Work: Cleaned out large beds, edged, added river rock to help with erosion problem, mulched. John is very easy to work with. He's honest and hardworking.

Description of Work: We contracted with BlueStone to plow and de-ice our shared driveway (maybe 150+ ft) this past winter. The $350 cost listed was for one instance of snow removal and de-icing; our cost was based on the amount of snow. They agreed to come plow whenever we had 2 or more inches of snow. They told us that we would be plowed after some commercial customers, which was fine with us, and they always came within a time frame that worked for us (the same day as the snow). Overall, they were reliable, responsive to phone calls, and we were happy with the plowing done!

Description of Work: Bluestone Landscaping has been doing our lawn mowing every two weeks for the last 6 months.

Description of Work: The owner John, is very easy to talk to and work with. They do our lawn maintenance and are quick and efficient. This year I mentioned a couple of things about his "guys" not presenting themselves professionally and he took note of it. And he negotiated a price with us and was very fair about it.

Description of Work: They mow our lawns, manage our spring clean up and landscaping and plow our driveway in the winter. Always prompt and professional and do a great job!

Description of Work: We recently bought a house that had not been maintained for many years. John's crew spent a day and a half trimming trees, mowing, edging, weeding and clearing all the overgrowth - especially in the back yard. They also cleaned my gutters which were so full they still had water in them from a recent rain. The yard looks AMAZING! It was worth every penny we spent.

Description of Work: Bluestone Landscaping removed a dead ornamental tree in front of my house. The owner also gave us some advice on what to look for in case the other small tree started to look bad as well. It was a simple job but a good experience.

Description of Work: They cleaned our beds out, mulched and put up a deer fence for us.

Description of Work: Mulched multiple bedding areas (10 yards of mulch); removed 20 overgrown Leland cypress trees and mulched that area as well.

Description of Work: Remove existing concrete walkway from front porch to driveway. Build new pavers walkway In front of the house (approx 4 wide). Remove existing concrete landing in back yard and 7 of the 10 steps leading to basement. Build new concrete steps to meet end of walkway. Re-grade back yard, install 3 French drains to correct drainage problems, and build additional walkway from driveway to rear steps of house. Add additional steps in back yard from end of walkway to top of existing steps that lead to basement. Add landscaping (flowers and plants) of customers choosing. Install solar lights purchased by customer. Front porch will be covered with same material. Install sod to cover area disturbed by the construction of walkway and re-grading. Mulch all yard (new areas and existing areas).

Description of Work: Mr. Cochran repaired a timber retaining wall in my front yard. One of the timbers was broken and tree roots had pushed the wall out toward the sidewalk. He cut back the roots, replaced the broken timber, and built up the wall.

Description of Work: I needed my lawn mowed for a short period of time while my mower was being repaired. John promptly got back to me after my initial call and then provided me with an estimate in a timely manner. He indicated the days he would be mowing in advance, and was willing to extend the effort if needed for more weeks.

Description of Work: Several bushes were removed from the yard, along with a diseased tree. The yard (which is partially wooded) was raked clean of leaves and debris. Also, all of the windows in the two-story house were cleaned on the outside.
