Fantastic! Mike called me yesterday to schedule the Angie's List special and had an opening on his schedule for today. Showed up as scheduled and did a thorough job of checking and greasing the garage door. He went the extra mile and trimmed down a screw that was hitting again the door spring, and to make an adjustment on the back of the motor which was a little difficult to get to. He also told me about a safety hazard he found on the door and he is going to provide a written quote to take care of this issue. I couldn't be happier; I wish all contractors were like this - knowledgeable and courteous. Very happy to do business with Automatic Doorz.

We liked everything about them. They came on time, they were honest, and they gave us a good assessment. They only charged us 100 bucks. For the $299 special that I bought, he told me to get a refund from Angie's List.

I purchased a "Big Deal" through Angie's List for the installation of a garage door opener. It took a couple of days to hear back from the contractor, probably because he was running this deal. Once we connected, he provided me with a day to do the work that was agreeable and a 4 hr window. He was on time and pleasant. The installation was straightforward. They cleaned up after themselves and everything is working fine.

Got a call from the owner about two hours after purchasing through Angie's List. Made an appointment for that week. Technician was on time, finished the work promptly and explained everything he did.

On March 25, I noticed the Automatic Doorz truck parked behind my home. Apparently he was working in the neighborhood but I could not locate him. I left my business card on his windshield and he contacted me about an hour later. He stopped by to inspect my garage, gave me an estimate and asked me to contact Mike at the office. I immediately called Mike, who was very pleasant and professional. We set up an appointment the same day. The technician arrived on time, looked over the door and explained what he was about to do. He finished in about 20 minutes and went above and beyond what was needed...Lubricated the garage door and straighten adjacent rods.

I called one of the larger garage door companies first but they couldn't make it to my home for another 24 hours which was a problem since the garage door was off the track and stuck in the half open position. My next call was to Automatic Doorz. I left a message for Mike and he called me back within 5 minutes. He was at my home within one hour. He gave me a quote on the spot which I accepted and he started the work immediately. Mike did a great job. My garage door has never been quieter and operated so well. I will always call Mike for any future garage door needs.

The techs arrived on time, resolved a few door issues I was having--all adjustment-related problems, and were done in about 20 minutes. The garage door has worked fine since the visit.

We had a very busy weekend scheduled when Friday night our our garage door broke. The guys from Automatic doorz returned my call first thing Saturday morning. The earliest open appointment was Monday morning but after telling them how desperate we were they offered to fit us in. They quickly diagnosed the broken spring but they feared the drop of the door may have broken other parts. They had the new spring on hand and set about replacing the spring. When the spring was installed there fears were confirmed but our technician said he might have the one part we needed in his truck among some old parts destined for the dumpster. Sure enough the used part worked and we had working door again. We appreciate the extra effort to save us a little money and allow us to budget for the new opener we will certainly need . When that time comes we will definitely call Automatic Doorz. Thanks again.

I was having trouble with my garage door opener and when I saw Angie's Big Deal for $75 from Automatic Doorz, and what their rating was, I bought it. I called right away and asked if they have weekend appointments and Mr. Alvarez said yes and set up a Saturday morning appointment. He was there within the allotted time frame, assessed the situation with my garage door and said that because the opener was old that I really needed a new opener. Since I already paid for the Tune-Up service, he would do the tune-up because he said that it would give me a little more time on my opener and some time to decide on a new one. I asked him what his company had to offer and he gave me two models that they install and their prices and also gave me a price for installation only, if I purchased my own. I have to say that since this was my first experience with Angie's List, I had a great experience and plan on using Automatic Doorz again.

Our garage door would not open. They answered my call quickly and set up an appointment for the next day within a four hour window. The technician called to let me know he was on his way a half hour before his arrival. He fixed the door right away. Already had all needed to replace the springs. They were polite and timely and reliable. I would definitely use them again in the future.

They spent ~40 minutes tuning up the garage door; making sure the door closed without any tension, aligning all sides and performing maintenance over all parts. Very reliable service.

The owner/operator was courteous and extremely professional. My biggest concern was proper tension on the torsion springs and he very ably adjusted those to give the door correct balance. Automatic Doorz will be the first company that I call should I have any garage door issues in the future.

Overall, my experience with this company was very good and I would recommend them to anyone needing garage door repair. I called my home warranty company because my garage door stopped operating via the automatic opening device. I could hear the motor attempting to open it, but the door would not open. Automatic Doorz was assigned my claim and a company representative called me within 24 hours. They were very accommodating in scheduling the service (they offered a next-day appointment), including rescheduling my appointment when I had a conflict come up with the original date. My only annoyance is the four-hour service window for arrival that I was given. I understand it can be difficult for service providers to give actual appointment times because they don't know how long a previous job will take. But these long service windows wipe out the entire day for the consumer because you can't plan anything during the entire appointment time. The technician was very knowledgeable and got my door back operational pretty quickly by resetting the manual override. He pointed out that the springs and rollers needed to be replaced. I knew the system was over 10 years old and it was time to replace the items. Unfortunately, this wasn't covered by the home warranty (which only covered the opener and not the spring mechanism). Because I was going to have to pay the service call fee anyway and the tech quoted me a fair price for doing the work, I agreed to let him proceed. He was done fairly quickly and I am pleased with the way it is working now.

We have two single car garage doors. After 9 years, the doors would not open all the way when the temperature dropped below 50 degrees. We thought we would need to replace both motors, but Automatic Doorz only needed to replace the springs, replace the screw drive rails and lube the doors. Both doors work great, and they aren't as noisy as they were before the service. Great service and we will definitely use the company again.

Overall their service was fantastic; they showed up exactly when they said they would. They did an estimate that ended up being very accurate. The workers and the estimator were very courteous. We have been very happy with the product they installed and their price was fair. I will use them again in the future.

The garage system was thorough checked, springs and pulleys were replaced. Since we use the garage as an entrance, it was important that the door was functional. I was so pleased that I decided to add this company to Angie's list.
