Mike promptly returned my call within 5 mins and was able to quickly fit me into the morning schedule. The technician, Chris, was very professional, contacted me 15mins out from arrival and arrived right at the scheduled time of my appointment. I was extremely pleased with the quality service performed. Chris went over the repair with me in full and did not try to sell me on any unnecessary repairs or maintenance. I really appreciate Automatic Doorz's quality service, especially during an emergency repair. Thank you!

Chris was very helpful and identifying the problem with our existing Garage Door Opener. He provided us three options to correct the issue and in the end we decided to replace with a new Garage Door Opener. The scheduling and installation of the garage Door Opener with the additional remotes, keypad, wall units was flawless. I am very happy with the final result and the price was very reasonable. I had used Automatic Doorz previously to replace my garage door openers, and since that went so well, I used them for this job too. I contacted them via their website on a Thursday evening and got a response within a few hours. We negotiated a price via e-mail the next day (Friday), and they were at my house a week later to do the install. Everything went very smoothly. Chris and Danny were fast, professional and efficient. The doors look and work great. I decided not to replace the outside trim, so they left me with the trim pieces they were planning to install - in case I want to replace them the next time I have exterior painting done.

Recently moved. The company told me it was cheaper to purchase the openers and then they would install for $100/each. They gave me a recommendation. I found a good price and they honored their quote. The installer came on time and did a great job!

The work went very well. The technician was professional, courteous and prompt, and appeared to do a very good job. ((The work did NOT include replacing the pulleys or cables) Did not realize until after the work was done and payment had been made that the agreed upon price was quite high compared to others. We relied exclusively on Angies List ratings to select this contractor. Lesson learned - ALWAYS get competitive pricing. The only reason the overall rating was not an A was the price.

Great experience. One of our garage doors started acting up after last month's storm. After (unsuccessfully) trying several fixes myself, I decided to call Automatic Doorz. I called last Friday and they were out Saturday afternoon. Chris determined that the unit had experienced a power surge (we did lose power during the storm). As such, we required a new opener. He gave me 3 options (2 different units they could supply + install or I supply the unit and they install). I opted to buy a unit and have Chris install. The whole process took about 35-40 minutes and afterwards, Chris showed me how to operate. I am very happy with the unit (Liftmaster 8550W) and will probably have them back out to replace my 2nd (old) unit. Will definitely use again.

The guy who came out worked very quickly. The whole thing was done in around 30 minutes. He explained how the new door worked in detail and was very professional.

The spring was replaced and a tune up was performed. It took about 30 minutes to complete the work.

I researched Angie's List for 3 days, reading reviews for both price and quality before deciding which company to go with to fix my garage door and I must say I'm so pleased I decided to go with Automatic Doorz. I called this morning (Saturday) and spoke to Mike and explained that my garage door stopped working because the Torsion Spring broke. I knew what the problem was because the same thing happened 3 years ago. Mike asked what area I was in and said he would have a tech in my area today and would try to get my door fixed the same day I called. Mike was very pleasant and gave me an estimate of what it would cost and asked me to hold on while he contacted the tech to see if he could get me on the schedule. He came back on the line and said his tech "Chris" would be to my home between 1:00 and 5:00 and would call when he was on his way. I have to say, when Chris got there, he was very pleasant, very professional and definitely knew what he was doing. My garage door was fixed and tuned up within 30 minutes. I must say I am VERY HAPPY with the kindness, promptness and how professional the company was and how quickly they were able to fix my garage. I will definitely be using them in the future and will recommend them to all my neighbors. Job well done.

I called Mike from Automatic Doorz on Tuesday and explained my issue (2 very old garage door openers that were at end-of-life). By Wednesday afternoon, Mike's team had installed 2 new openers (using an Angie's List deal). The 2-man crew that came out to do the work was punctual, called ahead and were very professional in doing the installation. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to repair/replace their garage door openers.

I contacted Mike Alvarez of Automatic Doorz on 2/18/18 via the messenger app in Angie's List. One of the two legacy garage door openers at the house in Elkridge was no longer functioning. The other opener never worked very well. The two garage doors were also legacy units, probably about 20 years old. Therefore I was interested in having the two garage doors replaced and two new openers installed. Mike responded to my initial message within about two hours. Mike worked with me over the course of a few days to agree on the doors and openers to be installed and the price. I accepted Mike's quote on 2/21/18. Mike was able to schedule the installation for 2/28/18. The installers Chris and Danny arrived on 2/28/18 on time. They disassembled the old doors and openers, and then installed the new ones. I was quite impressed with their knowledge of the installation process and the very neat way that they dressed the wires for the openers and the sensors. They completed the work in about 3 hours, and the doors and openers were entirely functional at that time. Unfortunately Chris had not brought his miter saw for this job because he hadn't realized that the exterior door frame had an angled corner. Therefore he could not finish the exterior trim/weatherstripping at that time. Chris agreed to come back within the next week to finish the trim. Mike Alvarez made arrangements to have Chris come back on a Saturday (just 3 days later) to finish the exterior trim work. The final work was completed on Saturday, 3/3/18. Overall I am very pleased with the installation work done by Chris and Danny. I also very much appreciate the effort that Mike Alvarez put in to turn around a quote and to schedule the work so quickly. I would definitely contact Mike Alvarez (Automatic Doorz) again if I needed any additional garage related work done.

We got a new LiftMaster garage unit including 2 remotes and a keypad. Danny performed the work and he gave us a call before he arrived and was on time. He installed the new unit under an hour, explained how it worked, and cleaned up. Great company, would hire again!!
