Comments above cover the story. However, Wooten also repaired a dryer machine knob that made the cycles out of sync and corrected my dryer for another item.

They're great. Easy to schedule- very flexible and eager to fit into my schedule. It turned out to be an easy fix but the repairman seemed very knowledgeable. They are saved to my favorites list and will be called the next time I have an issue with an appliance.

The technician, Darryl, was professional, polite, and prompt. He provided some helpful tips on how to maintain the appliances and what I could do to prevent further problems. I felt I got a really good deal for $125 which included all the labor and service call costs associated with the three repairs. The only additional costs were the parts, which were no more than what I would have spent if I purchased them myself. They do have an answering service which took my calls, however my calls were returned by the scheduler promptly and courteously the same day. They are located in Maryland, which is a distance from my home, but this did not seem to pose a problem as far as timeliness in getting the job done. I would definitely use them again.

I am updating a previous review I gave. Darryl and his partner came out again to fix my refrigerator. They are very nice and extremely professional. This time they flushed the freezer. They are also quick. I will definitely get this warranty again next year.

This is my 3rd time to use Wooten Appliance because Daryl is so wonderful and knows how to fix anything! I joked as he left that I would look forward to the next time something broke down, because he would bring a ray of sunshine to our home! Even my children remembered him fondly from the last time he was here. NOt only is his work great, but his work ethic exceeds any I have ever encountered-please read below. The first time Daryl came to evaluate the problem, he spent at least 30 minutes on the phone trying to find the parts I needed. AFter he located all the parts, he told me that he was not pleased with the price one of the dealers had given me for a part, and that he would pursue a better price. He called me later and told me that he found the same part for half of the price he was originally quoted. He went way above and beyond the call of duty, because I was the one who would have paid that original price. His prices are always so very reasonable, if not low. He certainly does not ever charge for all the time he spends repairing the eqiupment. I always feel as though he is a good friend visiting and doing me a favor. When he and his helper returned a few days later, he installed all the parts and all was operating perfectly. He always stays behind to operate whatever he fixes so that it works properly. Within 3 days, one of the machines broke, but it was a totally different issue, and I knew that it was nothing he had neglected to fix.I called him to get his advise on whether or not I should fix it or buy a new one. My microwave is a combination microwave/conventional oven so it is pricey to replace. It is also only 6 years old. He was convinced that we should keep it, and we made an appt to repair it again. I knew I could trust his advise because he has been here mutiple times, and he always has given me great advise. He came a few days later to repair the microwave, and when I tried to pay him, HE REFUSED! He would not even allow me to pay him for gas. He said that he stood behind his work, and even though this issue was not related to his repair, he insisted on not taking any payment! This type of service in unheard of in today's market. I have never encountered anyone with such high standards and integrity. He could have easily made more money from this job, but he chose to forego a profit and stand on his fine reputation. I recommend Daryl to anyone who needs the best. Not only is he reasonable, but his work is excellent. He knows about every kind of equipment. Everytime I have called him out, he has diagnosed the problem immediately. In fact, the last time,he knew what the problem was by my description over the phone, and he ordered several parts in advance of our appt so that I wouldn't have to wait. This company should be the number one choice of anyone who values excellence, integrity, and value. Thsi company is by far the best one we have ever encountered!!!

Darrel's whole team is very professional -- from setting up the appointment, to showing up on time and charging us in line with the quote provided. I don't have a good sense of appliance repair pricing, but even if Wooten is slightly higher than the rest. I would use them again simply for their professionalism and the ease of working with them.

Replaced a part on the oven.

The washing machine just needed to be cleaned and it stopped squealing. He didn't charge me anything and told me to keep the coupon for another time! I didn't know that kind of real service still existed.

I received exceptionally good customer service from Wooten. The scheduler called me back immediately. She was patient and friendly. The technician was excellent. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my dryer, and then went to the trouble to go get the part and fix it that day. The whole time he was courteous and professional. I thought, wow, customer service is alive and well. . company.

The company arrived on time, correctly diagnosed the issue as a known problem with Maytags, recommended against replacement despite this problem and despite the age of the machine due to its overall excellence, and quickly fixed the problem. No muss, no fuss, no bother.

Everything works. I did not have to purchase a new stove, or a new dryer. What's more, this is a service with a "can do" attitude.

The job was done. The price was fair. Warm fuzzies were missing.

The scheduler didn't relay accurate appointment information to the technician. It seemed that he was overbooked. He arrived around 8 pm (much later than scheduled) & still wasn't done. He did call twice to update me on his situation, which was helpful. He tested the oven temperature a couple of times to get an accurate reading. He seemed to try to fix my problem, but in the end, I'm not sure he could. He was very pleasant, & polite.

When I purchased the Big Deal, I intended to have a leak in my icemaker line repaired. The leak had been diagnosed by workmen who installed new flooring in my kitchen and who had pulled out the refrigerator in the process. I called Wooten to be sure that this would qualify for the Big Deal and was assured that it would. As it turned out he reported that there was no leak in the icemaker line. Coincidentally, the day before his service call, my dishwasher stopped working. So instead of fixing the non-existent leak, Mr. Wooten worked on the dishwasher. Although he was able to get it started again, he emphasized that the repair might not hold and that it might even fail before the cycle was complete. Since the appliance was quite old and replacement parts were no longer available, Mr. Wooten recommended replacing it. I was very satisfied with the service and would gladly recommend him others.

My fridge was not holding temp so called to make an appointment which was painless and easy. Daryl came at the appointed time and took less than an hour to figure out the issue and get the fridge temporarily working again. He came back 2 days later with the appropriate part and all is now well. Very easy to work with this company and the people involved. Would highly recommend!

Initially, intake caller could not schedule until the following Friday (a week from my call) for both appliances to be assessed.... but after explaining my situation, call intake contacted owner/ manager/ worker directly, and worked out a better schedule. As expected, Mr. Wooten and assistant showed on time, with call to me ahead of time. The Freezer was methodically inspected for the problem which was found to be a faulty overload protector. teh inspection for cause from from simplest to more in depth. They had teh part in their truck coincidentally, adn installed... They then waited for it to demonstrate working...which it did. They also did full assessment of the dishwasher door. After three times of taking the door off, resetting springs and hinges, etc, there was no luck incorrecrting the problem, they concluded something is bent, but could not identify where (Door, Hinges, Main unit...). As a result, they could not recommend what to fix. The entire 3.5 hrs session with part cost $165 everything was done in a professional manner: conduct, courtesy, respect for damaging anything (wood floor in kitchen and tight quarters), communicating to me each assessment as they progressed,... I would recommend this company without hesitation.

Arrived on time. Very courteous and professional. Repair completed as promised and has worked reliably since. Have no complaints and would use them again without hesitation.

We called Wooten first thing on Monday morning and scheduled a Wednesday afternoon appointment. The office person was very professional and thorough. The technician arrived within the promised time period and replaced a fuse which solved. the problem. The technician was very professional and diagnosed the problem very quickly. We had a very positive experience with this company and will definitely use them again.

They were efficient and showed up on time. Very polite. Took everything apart and were concerned about scratching the granite counter tops so asked for a towel. I will update after next appointment (third one in two months).

This is the second time we have called upon Mr. Wooten's expertise and we were delighted both times. He found the problem quickly, fixed it efficiently and was thoroughly professional throughout. He knows what he's doing and is reasonably priced. He's also a really nice guy. We will definitely use him again.

Overall we had a positive experience. Mr. Wooten came to our home and clearly explained what was wrong with the dishwasher. He tried a less invasive technique to fix it, that did not work. Even though it was a few months later, he still honored our coupon and said he would replace the motor because the first, less invasive method did not work. The work done was great but we had a lot of difficulty rescheduling for the meeting. A visits to our home was canceled, even though we had taken time off work to be present (information about our dishwasher was lost) and another rescheduled without a call (we only found out the next day why). But we also had to reschedule/cancel a visit because of emergencies on our end and Mr. Wooten was accommodating. Overall a good experience and professional service.

The person in the office was incredibly helpful and gave me the number of someone on staff who would be able to talk to me about parts and labor for the repair. He was also very helpful and provided an estimate my phone in a timely way. We didn't end up moving forward with the repair (because the first company's adjustments seem to have at least delayed the need to replace the whole component), but I'm definitely keeping Wooten in mind for the future. I was very impressed with their customer service! And their prices were more reasonable than the first company that we dealt with.
