Mr.Wooten arrived on time, examined the dishwasher and realized that the water line had been turned off. He opened the line and the dishwasher worked perfectly. He was professional and friendly and most importantly didn't assess his normal service charge of $99.00 which he certainly had a right to do. Will definitely use him again.

When the service man came by, the washing machine seemed to be working fine. However, we had him take apart the washer to see if he could remove the chain. He was very thorough in doing this, and couldn't find the chain. It must have broken apart when we previously ran the machine.

Wooten Appliance was a great find. I've had a hard time finding someone to repair Bosch appliances. Daryl Wooten was clearly qualifed and knowledgeable. He quickly determined the problem but had to order the part. He returned 2 days later, replaced the damaged part and gave me great information on how to eliminate scum and odors in my dishwasher. All problems are gone and my dishwasher is working great again. Only wish I had joined Angie's List sooner as this was how I found Wooten Appliance.

Fixed machine, but there was still a problem. Came back and took care of it at no charge. Daryl and his assistant are just very reliable people who are trustworthy and pleasant.

Darryl is honest, efficient, respectful and very knowledgable. (Stephanie, in the office, is very professional and courteous on the phone. As long as we are in the area, we will always use Wooten Appliance.

My grandson jammed his thermos up the refrigerator ice chute, and it wouldn't close, didn't know if it was broken or just came apart. Sent a message to Darryl at Wooten, and got an immediate response. Scheduled to come by between 9-11 2 days from original request, he came at 9:15, and was able to just take apart the front and put the chute back together! No parts! Within 20 minutes I had an ice maker chute again!

When our washing machine did not complete its spinning cycle twice in a row, we knew something was wrong. On Thursday we called the seller--Sears--which was disappointing. Sears' electronic system was down, so paperwork was needed and it would be at least two weeks until we could get someone in to find out the problem, whether we had a warranty or not. I went on Angie's List and found an A-rated vendor--Wooten Appliances. I spoke to a lady who said someone would call me back the next day and would be able to service my washer on Monday evening. The follow-up call on Friday confirmed this. Darryl arrived on time, listened to my complaint, did a quick check on the spin cycle, and dismantled the machine to look at the drum. Sure enough, his prediction was correct. We had a rusted-out drum, which explained the rusty pieces at the bottom of the clothes tub. He told us we could replace the drum for a specific price, plus reasonable labor costs or buy a new machine. He said our machine was one of two that were worth replacement because it was built during a time when machines were made to last 15-20 years. He actually said that it was a 50-50 decision since we probably would get 7 more years out of the machine if we replaced the part and the newer models (on the lower end) would give us about the same lifetime. He even suggested the best models (Kenmore/Whirlpool and Maytag), based on his experience. He left after about 20 minutes. The charge for the house call was $99. I wrote a check, though he said he took credit cards. I forgot about the Angie's coupon I had printed out, which would have saved us $20. Darryl was professional, polite and efficient. He did not waste our time. We opted to purchase a new machine of the recommended brand of Maytag.

I called this morning for washer service. They were supposedly open but the call went to voicemail. I left a detailed message and 7 hours later, NOTHING. Decided to just go buy a new washer. It will be delivered next day. Don't know how people stay in business with customer service like this.

Very good service. You get what you pay for. They gentleman had to come twice, one to diagnose the problem and the other to bring the part to be replaced. Very efficient. We will be using them again, next time to replace the dishwasher.

It took four visits to get the problem fixed. They wouldn't honor our 10% off coupon from Angie's List. And, at they end, they revealed that if you pay by credit card, there is a 3% surcharge. We will not be using them again. They only reason I didn't give them an overall F is because, in the end, they did fix the problem.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. He fixed it and that's what's important. We had to buy a circuit board so we paid an additional amount. He accommodated our schedule like coming out later than he would normally work. He was wonderful but the answering service was less than wonderful.

Arrived at timeframe as promised. Very friendly and professional. Immediately found problem with gas burners not lighting. Cracked part was an uncommon item, and not in his truck. Ordered and had arrived in 2 days. Problem with freezer leak was also diagnosed immediately. This was a bigger problem to correct, but, by the time he was done, the annoying problem was over! I felt that the fee was very reasonable for the effort involved in dismantling freezer floor, and rest of work that that entailed. Wooten Appliance will be my "go to" company for any appliance problems which crop up in the future! The technician who did the work certainly knows what he is doing!!!

We had used Daryl's services previously to fix a dishwasher. When the heating element went out on our dryer the repairs were too complicated to fix ourselves, so we called Daryl. We called on a Wednesday afetrnoon and he was able to schedule us for a late call on that Friday between 6-8pm. He called at about 7:30pm on Friday to tell us he was on his way and were we still ok with him coming so late. We obviously said yes and he arrived about 20 minutes later. He diagnosed the probelm, a burned-out heating element, very quickly. He stocks most basic appliance parts in his vehicle so he was able to replace the element in about 10 minutes. We are very pleased with his service and would use him again if we need an appliance repaired. He is much faster than the "brand name" service providers and he does not try to up-sell to generate additional revenue. He finds the problem quickly and fixes it right in a professional, courteous manner.

Daryl has come out to our home to fix three appliances since May. First, I broke the dishwasher detergent dispenser in May and he came out for the first time to replace it. A couple of weeks later, the heat sensor fuse on the dryer went out so he came to fix that. Lastly, after using the Self Cleaning function on our double oven, a couple of fuses blew so he came to fix that. He fixed the top fuse the first time here but when the top oven wouldn't come on, he said he had to come back with help to remove the oven from the wall to fix it. All went very smoothly. He knew from the get go what needed to be done. Was very prompt, professional and friendly.

I had already done some research on the internet and therefore knew the probable cause of my leaking washer. He came with the right part the first time and replaced it. the problem with the dishwasher proved to be a clogged filter(my bad). He cleaned the gunky thing out and taught us how to do it ourselves in the future. (not something in the user's guide for the machine!) He cleaned up after himself and was extremely pleasant throughout the whole process. Would definitely call on him again for any other major appliance repair.

They were quite good. My unit was high end and the replacement part was expensive so the price they charged me was expensive.

They never showed up. I received a phone call a few minutes after our scheduled appointment time, and he said he would still be able to come. However, since it was so late, I declined. He offered to set up a time on Saturday, but it wouldn't work for me, so I didn't schedule another appointment with them.

They were excellent. Researched and ordered the correct parts to fix our stove. Performed the service for significantly less than the Sears estimate.

We had called Mr. Wooten for a funny noise that the clothes dryer was making. When Mr. Wooten came out and fixed the dryer, we asked at the last minute if he also could do a water heater flush. He was already booked but said he would come back the following week and take care of the water heater. He came out for the water heater on the 4th of March and the cost indicates that he charged only for the actual work and not for booking a second appointment. I use Angie's List contractors almost exclusively. And among the dozen or more Angie's List contractor's I have used (some more than once), Darryl Wooten stands out as THE BEST. His work ethic, honesty, flexibility and integrity *might* be matched, but cannot be exceeded. He, his office assistant, Stephanie, and his son are terrific resources for homeowners who aren't handy. It is a joy to do business with Wooten Appliance.

I have a faulty garbage disposal and have tried twice this week to contact Wooten to schedule an appointment. I have used all contact information they provided but no response. Its not incumbent upon the customer to work this hard to schedule a service call and I'm done trying. I'll find someone else to take my money.

Great service and responsiveness by Daryl and his in-office person Stephanie. Daryl was prompt, explained about front load washers, spent a lot of time assessing the existing washer to make a diagnosis, and provided good information about brands for the next washer purchase. He is knowledgeable and professional. I will definitely call him the next time I have appliance problems!

I regarded answering service message as unfriendly. It requested voicemail or visit to website. I opted not to do so.
