Wooten Appliance

DO NOT recommend this company. The response and service are abysmal. Claimed a deal for $139 and reached out to the company to schedule service. I requested service appointment in the morning, and the day before the appointment, my window of service was from 1300-1700. The repairman showed up at 1655, took a look and charged $99. He said he doesnt have the part and will let me know the part's cost. Almost a week later, i get the notification the part will cost $150. I googled the part number, and it sells for $40-50. As i wasnt sure why there was such a huge price difference, I reached out to the provider inquiring if i can buy the part on my own and wanted to ensure i had all the details so i can purchase the correct part. A week later, i receive an email "not sure what do you mean..." I tried to contact the vendor numerous times on the phone and left voicemails. So after more than 3 weeks, i still have a non- working stove and am out $99. This level of service and support is just disappointing. For resolution, I'd like to be refunded of the $99.

They were easy to deal with and did a good job during the lockdown no less. Workman was very courteous and efficient.

I highly recommend Wooten Appliance. Our dishwasher stopped working in the middle of the Dry cycle inexplicably. Using YouTube videos, I deduced that it was a blown fuse, but after taking the door panels off, I decided I didn't want to try and fix it on my own. I contacted Wooten via their online request form and we set up a time via email for the technician to come out. Chester was our guy and he showed up at the beginning of our repair window. I want to note that because of the coronavirus pandemic, Chester was the first non-family member in our home in months. He wore gloves and a mask the entire time, and only touched what he absolutely needed to. I definitely appreciated that. He agreed that it was the fuse, and then told me I would save money by obtaining the part myself (I ended up giving him the money saved in a tip). Once I procured the part, I set up another appt via email on the next available business day. Chester again showed up on time and got our dishwasher working again. I was also to use a coupon I found on Yelp without problem. Will happily call on Wooten Appliance if we ever have other appliance issues.

The provider came out to do an initial assessment for which I paid $100. I never heard from them again. When he came he was great and very professional. It was the company that did not respond. I ended up fixing my washer and dryer myself and saving myself $400.

Technician arrived at 11:45AM. He had no personality- not responsive to my questions. Turned on washer. Took bottom panel of the dryer- cleaned out the lint (with my hand vac). The washer started to agitate - no noise, I believe there was nothing in the washer so the agitater had no resistance. He turned off the washer, put the panel back on the dryer. Never even looked inside the dryer. Then he charged me $135.00!!!!! My problem with the washer still exists. I feel I have been taken advantage of and believe the major problem with the service lies with the technician. Sorry, you will not get a recomendation from me!!!

The woman who works in the office was really awful...so bad that I am really questioning all the good reviews here! It took us many attempts to schedule the first appointment ("I'll you Monday to confirm the time" she said...she did not call) and then get a quote (several calls to ask for it) and then schedule the repair time ("I'll call you when the part comes in"...she did not call). She forgot to order the part and finally we just gave up. Do not use! I'm giving them a D instead of an F because the repair guy seemed good and the pricing was not bad. But wow, do not use if you are in any kind of hurry!

My experience with Wooten Appliance was top notch from beginning to end. Scheduling was very easy and professional. Chester was my technician and he was punctual, knowledgeable and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about this appliance company. Needless to say, I will be using them again.

Very pleased. Was difficult to find a company to handle just an installation since I did not purchase the oven with an installation. Wooten was referred to me by an appliance repair company who no longer does installations (just repairs).

I had made the repair request via the Angieslist site. I did not receive a response for 5 days. I guess they were busy but they should have at least responded in some form before then, even if they were too busy to come out. We have used them in the past with no problems so it's not fair to give them an F.

I have nothing but good things to say about Daryl and Wooten Appliance. I had an oven short out on me earlier this summer during a power outage, and the company that Whirlpool originally hooked me up with to attempt a repair was disappointing to say the least. Enter Wooten Appliance. I found them originally on Angie's List when I realized that I'd need to hire someone to install the new unit. Daryl has been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The job isn't even finished (unfortunately it's more involved than anticipated by any of us, and he needs to be back next week to re-route the gas line to get the oven properly installed) and I'm writing this review. I will use Wooten for any appliance related needs in the future. They've got a customer for life.

Awesome experience !!!!!!!! I would use this company again in a heratbeat !!!! Service was professional, prompt and completed expertly and correctly the first time. Their pricing is very competitive and the service done in a most expedious manner. The serviceman Daryl knew immediately whay the problem was and in no time my refrigerator was once again like new. He even cleaned the sink and surrounding floor where he had dropped a little bit of ice when he was done. He also instructed in the do's and dont's to help prevent the problem from happening again. I absolutely recommend Wooten to anyone looking for the best !!!!!

They diagnosed the problem, made an appointment once they got the replacement part, showed up on schedule and installed it.

A technician visited a rental property where we were not home (our tenant met them) in the morning. The technician diagnosed the issue pretty quickly apparently. However, we did not receive a call at all from Wooten the entire day, which I would have expected. The next morning went by, and I finally called to express my disappointment with this. A few minutes later, Wooten sent me a bill for the visit, with the email title "Invoice." The tech notes were included in the invoice. Overall, I am used to a service technician making a call to the owner to let them know what the issue, usually while onsite. I was not impressed with Wooten's communication or timeliness. Even after placing the call to ask about the follow-up, all I got was an email in response.

They did a great job. Nice to work with, identified the problem quickly, and performed the fix.

Showed up on time, very courteous and professional. Quickly discovered the problem (pump was jammed) and fixed it, and even helped with another small repair at no extra cost. The cost was quite reasonable for the home visit. I chose Wooten because client reviews indicated they are more inclined to advise fixing appliances rather than just discarding it and buying a new one. That’s my philosophy too and I find some appliance repair places are more keen to sell you a new one.

very well. they were reasonable in their approach and assessment of the value of repair vs replacment. we did end up repairing and all appliances are still working well after 2 years plus.
