Wooten Appliance

Arrived promptly. Looked at Fridge, Dishwasher, Washing machine, and Dryer. Cleaned lint from dryer, cleaned below fridge and advised that I will probably need to replace washing machine and fridge. Worker were polite and explained what they did and what they found.

I'm not sure what was actually done. I left my husband home & he wasn't able to tell me what was done.

Excellent; technician was on time and very professional.

Job was performed with efficiency, courtesy, and sympathy that two adults in our family had been unable to do what the service tech (with a mighty tug) achieved in about five minutes. ("You just have to show it who's the boss.")

Arrived later than scheduled but did call to let me know and confirm that I would still be available. They were unable to resolve a problem with the refrigerator/freezer not defrosting properly.

repaired. Took 3 visits -- but didn't charge extra for third visit.

Inconclusive. Technician did not identify the reason that the dryer was not drying clothes.

Great. In and out, identified an issue with the water line to my refrigerator.

Problem was diagnosed quickly. Repair was swift and was done by the owner of the company. I would highly recommend this company!

The repair person was knowledgeable and did a good job. However, scheduling was problematic. It seems that Wooten services my area (Columbia) only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have a standing commitment for Thursdays so that left only one day per week. The repair person came on a Tuesday but he determined that he need a part from the Wooten warehouse. He returned the following Tuesday to complete the work. That's too long to wait for a needed appliance.

Very well. The guy who came out came on time, was pleasant and professional. He helped me understand these appliances which came with the house, and discussed repair needs/options. I appreciated his frank assessments and his tips on how to care for analyze when something was seriously wrong. The only complaint I have about the company is the difficulty in getting access to a live person on the phone. They seem to do everything by email. Plus, unlike most other service companies that schedule large windows for arrival, they do not call when they are on the way,

When the part was delivered we scheduled a time for the repair and they came out and replaced the defrost heater. Everything went well.

The appliance checkup went fine and that is the grade reflected here. The company came back to do a repair on my refrigerator later and that was a bit of a disaster. The tech was unable to diagnose the problem correctly on his first 3 visits and I was forced to pay for parts destroyed due to his failed diagnosis. The supervisor finally came out and properly diagnosed the issue.

Their responsiveness and mode of contact is terrible. They don't pick up the phone, and just use e-mail to respond about appts. They keep missing appt times (3 times on 3 different dates) and not letting me know in advance that they will be missed or need to be re-scheduled. I don't have time to keep following up with them via e-mail to confirm they are coming. Super annoying!!! Don't use them!!! Waste of time! Super frustrating!!!

Cody was excellent!!!! I would hire him again. He knew his stuff and explained some things to me that were extremely helpful.

On the first visit the machine cooperated and so the broken part wasn't diagnosed; the cost of the first service call was waived upon return to replace broken part.

Excellent work. However I was disappointed that the check-up did not include my indoor gas grill cook top.

The technician, Daryl, showed me exactly what the problem was and patiently explained what needed to be done. The repair was completed in a timely manner, and I was very pleased with the service.

I unfortunately had to cancel the appt. I'm hear that they do great work, but scheduling was very difficult. Giving a 2 hour window the day before the appt may work for some, but not for me.

Turned out the garbage disposal blade had broken. Fortunately, it was an easy repair for the professionals at Wooten, and a new blade was on the truck. We had to pay for the blade, but it was only $39. We had purchased the appliance repair deal first, so the only additional cost was for the garbage disposal blade. The technician was courteous, kind, and professional, not to mention extremely efficient!
