Description of Work: The Wooten Appliance technician Neal was competent, capable & responsive. He was good about communicating arrival plan and times and met his commitments. Initial diagnosis of belt/pulley replacement meant a second trip was required, as he did not have the parts in the company vehicle. Following the second trip, the front load washer was repaired and we were pleased with the service and results. I would recommend them to other customers.

Description of Work: I've used Wooton Appliances repeatedly. From the first time I've been impressed with the quality of service and professionalism of Darryl Wooten. He does excellent work and always goes the extra mile to provide full customer satisfaction.

Description of Work: We called provider to repair our stove, as the broiler wasn't working. Provider said it would send a technician on 10/22 between 2:00 and 5:00 pm. The technician never showed up or called us to inform us he wasn't coming. After we left a message with the (non)provider at 6:00 pm to complain, the technician called the next morning stating we were not on the list of appointments given to him by (non) provider. We considered this to be a lame excuse and decided not to use this company despite the fact they offered to waive the service charge.

Description of Work: I paid $159 for a large appliance repair but when they got here they told me the issue was the computer/electronics in the washing machine and that the parts alone would be more than 50% of the cost of a new machine. I asked them why I had to pay $159 instead of $99 which is what I would have paid for just a consultation since I didnt actually get anything repaired and they said "no" and that by buying the $159 large appliance repair, I was actually taking a gamble that I would get a repair that should have cost more for $159. I dont like to think that I am "gambling" when I get these sorts of packages. I thought these companies offer these packages to win new customers and loyalty. I feel cheated that they would not just charge me the $99 for the work that was actually done which was a pure consultation. Buyer beware on this $159 large applicance repair deal.

Description of Work: Mr. Wooten diagnosed the problem with my oven as a faulty igniter. After replacing the part he said my basic gas oven and range should provide reliable service for many more years to come, since it has no electronic controls that can fail.

Description of Work: I was so disappointed on the services provided. First, I was not even on the the first repair person's time schedule list even though I had been assured of the home appointment by the office staff. It was only because I had called the company that the error was found. That most cooperative service person actually came before he left work for the today when he discovered the appointment glitch.The part needed to be ordered. That part took a bit over 2 weeks to arrive and then another appointment needed to be scheduled. I was without a dishwasher for almost an entire month, which was a real problem as I had had several dinner parties planned. I do not like to use plastic or paper so spent much too long at the sink washing and drying. Certainly do-able but so frustrating with a dishwasher right there!. I will say, all service people once in my home were most courteous and knowledgeable. I doubt if I will be using this company again.
