Description of Work: They checked all appliances that I expected to be checked. |1. He confirmed that microwave was safe and that damage to interior wall was only cosmetic. They suggested a kind of paint to use to cover the damage. |2. He cleaned the garbage disposal with ice and warm water combination, while instructing me how to do it myself. |3. He instructed me on how to use white vinegar are dishwasher cycles options that I have never used to clean accumulated scum out of the dishwasher. |4. He cleaned dust accumulation from coils, etc. of the refrigerator and instructed me about the importance of knowing that this must be done in two locations, not just one. Another company I had used cleaned out only one of these locations. |5. He checked the stove and oven for several things and explained my option for replacing burner parts with great honesty, i.e., the parts are still operating safely although deteriorated.

Description of Work: I hired them to fix my 2 yr old bosch dishwasher-- the springs which hold the door up had broken and it was leaking. they replaced the springs, but it took awhile for them to get the parts from bosch. also, they told me the springs broke because the dishwasher wasn't installed properly, e.g. wasn't mounted to the kitchen island and that the cabinet-front on the dishwasher door was too heavy. they told me these things could not be fixed by them, and i had to hire a cabinet specialist. So i hired one of the areas most-respected cabinet specialists, who told me that the appliance person should have ordered simple mounting hardware from bosch that every dishwasher should be installed with, and that the cabinet face was not heavy at all. Now the springs are broken and the dishwasher is leaking again.|Perhaps their Bosch expertise is not that great-- but since my dishwasher is one of the most common models, that doesn't make much sense to me.

Description of Work: All persons I dealt with were very responsive and courteous. They correctly diagnosed the problem with my stove within minutes of Arrington. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the extra money they charged me. They had to send a part out to be refurbished. Charged me an extra $50 on top of what I paid via the deal on Angie's list. In addition I paid for the part to be refurbished. I totally understand having to pay for the part to be refurbished but I didn't quite understand my having to pay the additional $50. The Angie's list deal was supposed to cover up to two visits and an hour of the providers time. I stayed within that limit so I don't quite understand my having to pay the additional Money.

Description of Work: My dryer was broken so I called them out to check it. The heating element was snapped so the guy that came out jerry-rigged it and ordered a new part. The makeshift heating element worked pretty well in the mean time. I just put in light loads and made sure to stay near the laundry room when it was going. However, when the new part was installed by another guy, the dryer stopped working. It would heat up but it wouldn't dry. So, I called them back up and they did come back out and fixed it. It worked beautifully now and for much less than a new dryer would have been.
