Description of Work: Rather than go through all the hassle of dealing with Bray & Scarff (ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!), even though our dishwasher was still under warranty, it was completely worth it to go directly to a repair service and pay for it separately. They not only quickly and successfully diagnosed the problem, within 15 minutes, but they found the cause for the burned out power board, which was due to improper and incorrect installation of the dishwasher in the first place (Bray & Scarff). It could have caused a fire, and half the cord was melted. He installed a new cord, as well. Now, our dishwasher lights even come on and the entire machine works properly, which it never did from the time it was installed. Daryl was extremely courteous and on time, and the lady who did all the scheduling was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Their online scheduling tool is super convenient, and they were great about calling me back and keeping me informed. What a breathe of fresh air! We have now found our "go to" appliance repair company. Thank you, Wooten!!

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for an appliance tune-up. The appointment was easy to schedule. The technician was very knowledgeable and professional. He fixed a number of longstanding problems, including faulty filter on refrigerator water dispenser, smelly dishwasher, noisy garbage disposal. He gave some great advice about products to use (or not use), and ordered replacement knobs for oven.

Description of Work: I was hoping to revise this rating higher than a "C" after getting a refund for a huge mess left behind (and undisclosed) by the tech - put lint vacuum in reverse by mistake, then tried to hide. I'd thought at least the dryer and vent had been cleaned. So my disappoint was renewed when I saw that my outside vent was completely clogged only a couple weeks after the service. Now I'm not sure the vent was even cleaned at all. And I'm still finding lint in my downstairs bathroom. The owner/manager was very professional and responsive, but I don't think I got the actual service I'd initially paid for. Heavy sigh. Wish I had better news and rating.

Description of Work: Service tech came out and immediately identified the problem with the dishwasher. Fix was done quickly and without fuss. Left the kitchen clean and tidy.

Description of Work: The company did not honor what was purchased from Angie's list and they wanted to charge me more money. My problem was not resolved. I was not pleased with them at all.

Description of Work: The dryer stopped working and our friends at Wooten turned that around.

Description of Work: Dryer was thoroughly cleaned and the front was removed to get all the lint in the bottom of the machine which was very good and something I didn't expect. However, after the dryer was moved it was not re-balanced afterwards (I have a wavy cement basement floor and the dryer was balanced on a few shims) so I had to do that on my own after the service. Also the dryer vent cover (to keep birds out) was removed from the outside to clean the vent and not replaced. I happened to find the vent cover 3 days later under a bush and I'm glad a bird didn't get in! Service was acceptable but attention to details were not a bit lacking. Also I think I saw another dryer cleaning service advertised for less a few weeks later.

Description of Work: This is an excellent, trustworthy company. The technician actually came out twice. He recognize3d that we had an issue that needed to be taken care of before he could provide service. He explained exactly what needed to be done, and did not charge for the visit since the service could not be completed at that time. We had the requested service completed, and then he came back as soon as we could reschedule. His honesty went above and beyond our expectations. I would highly recommend them, not only for the quality of work provided, but by the level of honesty.
