Description of Work: WOOTEN APPLIANCE was very responsive, arrived on time and thoroughly completed the work with attention to every detail.

Description of Work: We purchased a deal for appliance inspection and cleaning. Perhaps we misunderstood what entailed a "cleaning," but it certainly did not include wiping anything down or mold/mildew abatement. | |Prior to the appointment we weren't notified of supplies we might want to have on hand, so I could not even run a bleach cycle on the washing machine or dishwasher as the tech instructed while he was there. He requested to use my shop vac because he didn't want to have to go outside to get his (although I am fairly certain his would have been more powerful than our 10-year-old secondhand model). He also told me there was no need for him to clean behind the refrigerator when I asked - he said all the parts that needed cleaning were underneath and he'd already vacuumed there. Turns out, it was up to me to scrub buildup in around the coils along the bottom, though. | |All appliances except the garbage disposal got a clean bill of health. Less than two weeks later our tenants used the dryer only to find issues with the buzzer and the amount of airflow. The refrigerator also had some issues with airflow - leading to spoiled groceries - and problems with the ice maker. The tech specifically told me the refrigerator had several good years left in it. | |The tech had taken the time to make a review a list of things he'd checked that day and to-dos for future cleaning and maintaining our appliances. I appreciate the list, but question how thorough his check list was.

Description of Work: The technician showed up and knew what the problem was with our washing machine almost immediately. We have small children and one of their tiny socks had gotten sucked into a pump. He said it was a fairly common problem and that the motor still looked to be in good condition so he didn't recommend replacing it. I gave a "B" on price because the deal they offered seemed to be on par with other vendors. The only reason I gave them a "B" on responsiveness is their system of communicating with their customers. There's no direct line of communication. All business is conducted through leaving messages and emails, and while those certainly have their place in modern business, I prefer having a mode of immediate contact. What communication we did have was very professional and I believe I paid a fair price for to company that operates honestly. I will use them again.

Description of Work: Dryer vent cleaning. Seemed like it went ok, had to reposition the flexible exhaust hose a little after the service

Description of Work: Cleaned our our dryer vent. The job was more complicated then I thought but the Wooten tech was undeterred. Will call again for future services.

Description of Work: The experience was fine. I had scheduled a simple dryer vent cleaning. However the night before, my dryer started to make a funny noise which I had heard before. So after one service rep did the cleaning, the person who had replaced my motor two years ago came out to inspect the dryer. He also thought that it was the motor but he reassured me that I could continue using it and did not charge me for the additional service call. Amazingly, I have not had any trouble from the dryer since.
