Worker was on time and completed work efficiently.

This was our third time using Wooten Appliance and I would recommend them to anyone needing a large appliance repair. Scheduling was easy and the scheduler was very knowledgeable and friendly. The ttechnician was courteous and very professional, even making sure the dryer vent was clear after finishing the repair to help reduce the chance of further issues. They have a two step process if they don’t have the part on the truck, coming out first to diagnose, then returning to repair. Coupon deal covers labor and the cost of the part is separate. Both very reasonable.

Darryl was terrific. Prompt, responsible, a problem-solver. We are fans. Highly recommend.

Wooten Appliance received an "A" rating in all categories as noted. A follow through by Wooten on one of the service visits was especially satisfying. A technician came out to assess a problem with our microwave cooker. He could repair but suggested that we think about replacing with new unit as a more economical path in the long run. He left and we thought about it for a few weeks. We called back with a decision to repair. Unfortunately, Wooten, based in Maryland, lost its Virginia-resident technician and would no longer be able to make service calls in Virginia. However, without prompting from me they found the notes from the technician's service call and called me back to explain exactly what the problem was with the microwave and what parts were needed for the fix. This was done so I could explain to another service company exactly what was needed for repair, perhaps saving time and expense of additional trips by a technician from a newly chosen company. That's a company worthy of doing business with!

First contact 3/12 was good. Pricing was good. Took them over 3 weeks to get the part to schedule and do the repair. Originally they said part would be available is a couple of days. Once scheduled 4/10 they came and repaired the dryer.

The Angie's List fee was for the initial inspection visit, which was fair. Technician immediately figured out the issue, offered solution and I agreed to get new one. He ordered the part and returned a few weeks later to complete the installation. All well done.

The company was the only one of several I contacted that would work on the LG microwave I owned. I thought the workers who came to my home were professional, took care of the work quickly. The first worker who came to evaluate the appliance came at the beginning of the time window for his visit, and quickly determined a part was needed. The company ordered the part and contacted me by e-mail when it was ready. They put me on the schedule for the next day I was available to be at home for a visit. I marked down slightly on punctuality because the second visit was arranged to earlier in the day, but because the wrong worker was given the necessary part, I had to wait until later in the day for the worker to arrive with the part. The unit is working again for much less than the cost of new appliance. They honored their $20 coupon off their flat labor rate of $159.

Wooten was terrific when they didn't need to be. I contacted them about an appliance repair, only to be told immediately by them that they didn't repair that level of appliance BUT--bless their hearts--they knew who did. They gave me the contact information and the best of wishes. I can't thank them enough. If they are that service oriented about something they aren't even servicing, I can only surmise how thorough they are with handson.

Wooten came highly recommended for appliance repair and technical services, so we reached out to them. They were able to schedule us quickly for our broken front-load washer, and the 2 techs arrived on time. Our job required negotiating tight spaces, moving some heavy equipment and diagnosing possible issues, and the guys did a great, professional job. They were careful with our equipment, and explained clearly what were the possible causes for our issues. Moreover, they were efficient and friendly. Post-visit, Wooten sent an estimate for the repairs, which seemed reasonable given the needed parts and labor. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and would highly recommend and re-hire.

On time, and courteous and economical

The information given was confirmation of what I already knew. I am a Landlord and familiar with a lot of maintenance issues. I didn't know exactly what to expect when I signed up for the service even though it was mentioned on the website.

The service was excellent. It was definitely worth a repair appointment before buying a new washer--the representative diagnosed the problem right away and came back with the needed part at the second appointment, for a fraction of what a new washer would cost. I could arrange everything online, got emails to confirm the appointment, and paid on the spot with a credit card. The cost of the first service call was credited against the cost of the repair. A great experience overall, and I will definitely use them again.

Daryl from Wooten Appliances is a great guy! Very professional and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Takes the time to hunt down a difficult problem if necessary. I highly recommend Wooten and especially the work of Daryl!

We received electronic confirmation of the time of arrival of our repairman the night before he was due. The service repairman arrived promptly. After checking our freezer compartment he determined that we simply needed a new filter in our refrigerator. He advised us to purchase and install it ourselves to save money. We followed his recommendation and we now have ice cubes again!!

They arrived on time, replaced the igniter, tested the oven, tested the other oven and provided useful information about the other oven.

It went okay, but the same problem, the soap dispenser not opening up during a cleaning cycle, has cropped up again on occasion.

Very well. The dishwasher was inspected and found to have no mechanical issues. Under Wooton's advice, we cut the detergent pods in half as too much soap was causing the drips. This worked perfectly.

The guys did a great job! Our fridge was making a loud noise and they fixed (the guys were knowledgeable) and they taught me a tip with the garbage disposal. Thank you!

Not well done. 1) In terms of quality of work, while original problem was fixed, another one came up POTENTIALLY directly as a result of the work done. After reinstalling the control board, the water is now not draining at all, which was never a problem in the last 8 years. Still waiting for a repairman to go back to the apartment to check out the problem. I would expect them to at least run the machine after installing the control board to make sure everything is working. Nope, not the case here. 2) In terms of customer service / communication, while very responsive to email to schedule, little to no communication about what the problem was, potential solutions or status of repair. I had to chase them down every time to see what the problem was and what I can do about it (as I am not around when the repairman was there). One example was after the inspection, I have not heard from them until one day I received an invoice. I had no idea why my dishwasher went wrong and why I would need to pay for a particular (overpriced) part. I have met many more contractors who are much more willing to communicate which always make a big difference in terms of making the right choice in repairing and maintaining my apartment. Not here.

We really on Daryl to keep our appliances running!

Daryl was able to come over a few days later. He repaired the motor that was clogged and not draining. Daryl is our go to guy for repairs. He is able to repair things that others can or won't or give wrong information about. He doesn't overcharge, is easy to work with and usually is pretty fast to getting to you. We will have him back!

It went great. I called up the manufacturer, got the parts free of charge. He even came out and installed it FREE of cost. That was the icing on the cake. Very coool.

Per the email I received from Wooten Appliance on 12/22/2017, I was told that "The regular service fee would be $109 and would be applied towards the repair if needed." When a member of the Wooten team arrived and I described the problem we were having, he didn't even look at the machine and told us that we'd need the valve repaired. He informed us that the cost would be $109 for the service call in addition to the cost of the part that he'd order (an estimated $50) plus $120 of labor for the repair since moving the washer/dryer would take a crew of two individuals. He said that the $109 service fee would not be applied to the repair, despite the email saying otherwise, and said I could either pay both fees or he could leave without charging a fee. This represents a bait and switch and Wooten not performing work the the agreed-upon rate.

Cody, the technician arrived on time and started cleaning and inspecting my appliances. He advised me about a pending problem with my washer, so I know to be alert to this problem occurring. He also gave me some maintenance tips about my appliances. He also helped me find the model number to my cooktop so I can replace the dials. I will use Wooten Appliance again.
