The man wrote on the receipt that I shouldn't sweep for 3 to 5 days and that I need to make a follow up call in 10 to 14 days to schedule a follow up appointment. I called the 12th day after because I had seen 3 or 4 bed bugs. I got an answering machine and then I called the cell phone number and spoke with someone and he said they had been really busy and he said he would call me back and he never did. I waited until a couple of days ago and left another detailed message. I still have not heard back. I need them to come out to ensure that I get rid of the bed bugs.
Description of Work: I had bed bugs. Legionnaire Pest Control came out and set up bombs and fumigated a powdery substance. They took the beds apart and treated the beds. They also looked in my sofa and loveseat downstairs. They were supposed to come out two more times to insure the bed bugs were eradicated.

+ -1 moreA couple of good local people to take care of issues in pest control.we just moved to the area, found these folks on Angie's List and have contracted them.So far, so good - they are very knowledgable and worked closely with us on a rodent issue, discussed the various sorts of bugs they were seeing indications of and generally were exceptionally affable.I would recommend them after the one visit - and, they came back (while we were not there) and resolved an issue we had discussed.
Description of Work: Sprayed for pests - resolved an issue with rodents and we signed a contract for a year's service

+ -1 moreI called John on Friday; and he came out the next day to inspect and explain pricing options. He then scheduled a treatment day for 2 days later. He returned with his associate to do the treatment part of his service on the day he scheduled. The only glitch, which did not affect me too much, but some may find inconvenient, is that he had to change the time of each scheduled appointment due to timing problems he was having on those days.
Description of Work: A termite inspection was done (none found), outside and inside of the house were sprayed for spiders. Basement was treated with an additional deterrent. John Dixon was very knowledgeable about all sorts of pests. He and his employee did a thorough job. Both men were very personable, polite and professional. The price included a follow up visit should that be necessary.

They are very responsive, personable and timely. I have not had any issues with them. They are great. I have told everybody that I know about them.
Description of Work: I used Legionnaire Pest Control for the pest control services. They came out in June 2011to treat for ants and things like that.

+ -1 moreMy experience with Dixon & Sons was very good. John was pleasant and thorough, explaining everything and answering all my questions. I have not see a roach since he's been there, so I am very happy indeed with the service.
Description of Work: I rent properties in Philadelphia, but I live in NJ. Usually it is not so easy to find a good contractor, who is able to do good service without direct control from the customer. My contacts with John were very pleasant from the first phone call. He gave me the description of the work, explained the warranty terms and extended service options. Finally he gave me very reasonable price and made an appointment with my tenant without my intervention. When I talked to the tenant she was very pleased with John. He was in place on time and in addition to the termite treatment (that was of course not so important for the tenant) John did bedbugs extermination. And it was very important for the tenant. One week ago I ordered bedbugs extermination in different company, the representative was in house 2 times, but he did not eliminate the bedbugs. John did this work without my order and free of charge. It was solely his initiative. John was very kindness to tenant; he understood her concerns and did this work without any discussion with me. It is practically impassable to meet the person who is ready on his own initiative to go extra step without payment. Now I know this person.
