Description of Work: Dug out silt pond and smoothed the dirt dug out.

Description of Work: The problem was that the ground was so saturated with water the septic system was unable to work properly. Mr. Tiley came promptly, arranged for the health department sanitarians to do percolation testing and dug holes for them in at least ten locations. I know he was doing his best, but there was so much groundwater coming into the property that none of the perc tests passed. The solution proposed by Mr. Tiley and the Health Department was an underground "drain curtain" system which would collect incoming water into a system of pipes and drain it away from the septic field and down into a creek at the edge of my lot. When the ground dries out they will return to fill in any low spots that appear and to plant grass over the excavated areas. |Mr. Tiley was great to work with. He explained every step in the process, and I felt confident he would make sure my problem was solved. He and his family have accumulated many years of wisdom about septic systems, drain curtains, and soil. They have all the equipment and expertise to do this kind of work. He was also very prompt and worked in bad weather with a cold so that I could use the drains again. Of course it is not fun to spend a lot of money on your septic system, but LECCO really earned every penny. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with similar problems.
