We initially responded to an Angie's List Special Offer by White Contracting for replacement 6" gutters and downspouts in July of 2015. We weren't ready to proceed at that time but when we called back in September, Chuck, the owner, generously honored the (then expired) special price. We contracted for 150 feet of gutters with Bull Dog gutter guards, and 8 downspouts, including one from a 2nd floor dormer, for $2,545. This included removal and disposal of the old 5" gutters and downspouts. The whole job took less than 1 day. White Contracting delivered as promised both in time and quality of work. Clean-up was immaculate. In the 6 months since installation, the gutters have weathered heavy and light rainstorms, high winds, an ice storm and an historic 30" snow fall. They performed beautifully. It's such a pleasure to hear water running down the inside of the downspouts instead of spilling over the tops and between the cracks of our old gutters. I was a little skeptical of the gutter guards because we have lots of trees in the back yard that drop leaves, seeds, flowers and nuts during the year. I did in fact sweep dry leaves off the gutter guards once or twice during the Fall. Perhaps the gutters will need to be flushed out eventually, but so far, the guards are working fine, and probably reduced the strain on the gutters from that heavy 30" snow melt.

I purchased a Deal to have gutters cleaned and covers installed. The service provider sent me a message after the purchase to tell me that they were no longer accepting the deal. In all fairness the message did come the same day I made the purchase but it was a hassel to deal with getting a refund. I choose to use a different company for the service because not redeeming the deal that did not expire until December left a bad impression for me.

Very professional job completed in a couple of hours. Complete clean up when the job was done.

After 6 months we realized the gutters installed were not large enough to handle the amount of water from the roof by noticing the run off on the garden beds. We video taped a storm one evening and noticed not only could the gutters not handle the water but water was spilling over behind the gutters and down the fascia and onto the covered deck. After numerous attempts to contact the contractor he responded back and agreed to come and look. Of course he stopped by when we were not home and stated it was because the downspouts were clogged with debris. The problem still existed after his visit. We checked for any debris, mind you we had just cleaned all the gutters and downspouts earlier in the season, and we noticed less than a handful of debris we assume the contractor took out and threw on the ground. We of course took video/pics of that being we were not getting anywhere with this contractor. To this day we have no luck getting in touch with the contractor as they have refused to call back and rectify the problem. I would strongly recommend not using this contractor. When the job is done so is he.

I contacted the provider based on reviews in Angie's List. I left a message and he did return my call the following day. As I was describing the gutter repair. possible partial replacement, I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was terribly excited about the job. Maybe it was too small of a job to be worth his while. At the end, he did ask that I give him a "couple of days" to come out and look the situation over. I confirmed that he had the appropriate contact information to get back to me I do not know if he did come to look at the job, but now, at nearly 2 weeks, I have heard nothing back. I can only assume he has no interest in doing the work.

We did not end up going with White Contracting because we had a few better price offers but it seemed that White was offering very high quality materials that commanded a higher price point.

The owner Chuck White contacted me right away after I ordered the Angie's List Big Deal $99 for $109. Worth of Gutter Repair or Replacement. Chuck came to my house and inspected my system for me. He was respectful and provided detailed professional answers to all my questions. We discussed several options, including replacement gutter size and the performance of different gutter guards based on many years of installation experience. At no time did I feel pressured by Chuck to purchase anything more than my Angies coupon called for. I asked Chuck to send me two estimates, one for replacing just one bad section of gutter in the back of my house and one for replacing the entire system that was nearing the end of its service life. I was very pleased with the estimates he sent me, particularly considering the scope of work for my large house and the long gutter runs along a wrap-around porch. I called him to discuss the cost of upgrading to the six inch gutters with Bull-dog covers. Chuck sent me a new estimate with a great discount on all the work, including credit for the Angie's coupon I purchased and I selected a full replacement option. The crew was scheduled within a week and they did the entire replacement installation in one day. They arrived on time, were professional, and did great work. The crew chief had more than 15 years experience installing gutter systems. The new gutters look fantastic. My wife says they are like lipstick on our beautiful house. But more importantly, they have performed flawlessly during several heavy downpours by taking all the water way from my house and into my property drainage system without any overflow or leakage of any kind. I like that the cover system Chuck recommended because it really works and it means I will no longer have to clean leaves or Maple Tree seeds out of my gutters or worry about water backing up in the downspouts.

We communicated through email and phone and all promised dates were met. The installation went very well and we are pleased with the results. The workers came on time, removed the old material and made new gutters and downspouts onsite. The installation was completed quickly as well. We received an invoice in email that matched the estimate and we sent a check. Easiest upgrade ever.

We had our home sided by White Contracting. The work included soffits, siding, window caps and the removal and re-installation of gutters. The price was competitive; of four bids theirs was the second lowest. Chuck worked with us in the selection of accessories to tailor the project to what we wanted and to be competitive with other bidders. The entire project took four days. They performed the work with a small, skilled team. The finished product was excellent. The work was quick, clean, and efficient. The detail work is excellent. We were hesitant to choose vinyl siding initially, but now that it?s done it really just looks beautiful. We have seen new houses covered by vinyl where the seams are obvious or the siding buckles. That is not the case with Chuck?s team! Our siding looks seamless and smooth. This was a big project that we spent a lot of time researching our options. We have no regrets in choosing this contractor to complete our siding project. It?s like a whole new house!

Chuck called me right away after I purchased this deal on Angie's list. He set up a time to have the work done and discussed what was included in the deals price and what was not included. The deal was for 50' and anything over would be an additional charge. His price was very fair for the additional footage. He came to the house with his workers. He did a quick measurement, told me exactly how mush more it would cost and explained how they would do the work. This took about 10 minutes. His workers went to work and finished in about three hours. They discovered that the gutters were installed incorrectly(right up to the edge of the roof) they took down and reinstalled all the gutters correctly for no charge. When they left they knocked on the door and said that they were cleaning up and would be leaving. The yard was left spotless and the gutter covers work great! Last but not least they cleaned the gutters before installing the covers, other companies charge almost as much just to clean your gutters. This deal got us covers and a cleaning for a just bit more than some companies charge for just cleaning.

Very pleased with the quality of work, materials and craftsmanship. The owner and all of his employees were very professional and courteous. Prompt service, and great follow through. I highly recommend White Contracting, Inc.

We were replacing the original gutters/covers & downspouts on our home with upgraded material and size. The owner, Chuck White, responded quickly to a request to give an estimate. We shopped several providers and decided on White Contracting. Their price was very competitive. The job was scheduled and performed at an acceptable time. The installation crew was courteous and professional; work was completed the same day to our complete satisfaction and the crew cleaned up all of the debris. We highly recommend White Contracting.

Mr. White came out promptly and could see what our problems were and what needed to be done. We felt the estimate was quite reasonable. Because of the upcoming holiday and forecast storms, the installation was put off until the following week, though he said he'd send the written estimate via email in the meantime. When we hadn't heard anything by the Monday of the following week, I called and was told the boss was on vacation, and they were very busy, probably unable to do the job that week, though he would call the boss and see what was what. Because we had a serious leak caused by our broken gutter system, I said we would have to find someone else if that was the case. Within 15 minutes, they called back to say they would be out the next day to take care of the job. Next day, bright and early 3 guys showed up and within 4 1/2 hrs., the job was done, mess all cleaned up and everything looked great. Good thing, too as the big T-storm showed up within a few hours and since then, several thunderstorms. There have been no leaks and the system is handling the incredible amounts of water, leaves and detritus (we live on a wooded lot) beautifully. Thank you, White Contracting, for a job well-done!

Mr. White was courteous, helpful, and managed to fit in my job within I think two days of my initial call. The installers were professional, courteous, polite, and above all, efficient and fast. I have a Cape Cod so it was not a difficult gutter arrangement; nonetheless they easily adapted the new installation to the minor house quirks. They caulked my vinyl siding at the top where it had come undone...water had leaked in whenever the gutters overflowed. This prompted the job in the first place. My sense was that White Contracting is eager to do business and aggressive in fulfilling their commitments once formally engaged by the customer. I will be calling them next summer to do my siding. This was a very satisfying contractor-customer experience for me and I recommend them without hesitation.

Chuck(?) left us a sample of the Bull-Dog system they install which he assured us would solve the problem (along with a larger gutter size). I was doubtful, but he assured me that he had several years experience installing this system and had not had a complaint. On that basis and his excellent rating we decided to go for it. For the purpose of appearances, we replaced all the gutters and downspouts rather than just those in the problem areas (which was most of the gutters anyway). It's been several months now and after several nasty nor'easters and a fall leaf and needle dump, everything is fine. The gutters are working great.

We couldn't be more pleased! After some delay forced by bad weather, two crews showed up just before 8am and completed the entire roof before 2pm. The workers had apparently worked together for a long time as everyone knew what to do and went right to work with impressive energy, skill, and good spirits. Certain crew members took care of cleanup as the work progressed, and the yard was ultimately left in better shape than it had been. A knowledgeable friend observed their materials, techniques, and methods, and gave them uniformly top rating. All of the workers were courteous, clean, and skilled in their tasks. The roof looks great, and our neighbors are already asking for Chuck White's contact info. Chuck is a local guy (1982 graduate of Howard High) who pays close attention to his customers and responds right away whenever you call or email. He had previously installed new gutters for us, so I was expecting great work--but this job even surpassed those high expectations.

Prompt, clean, efficient, and polite. During heavy rain, water used to come off our gutters like waterfalls and a loose downspout would clang against our bedroom wall in the wind. When not raining, water would sit in some gutters that weren't installed at the correct slant. This led to mosquito breeding and maple seeds sprouting in the gutters. Since White Contracting installed the new 6-inch gutters, we've had no more waterfalls, banging, puddles, mosquito breeding or tree seedlings! We are very pleased.

Great! Water doesn't sluice over the sides of the gutters any more in heavy rains, and the basement was about 50% improved. (We ended up having a French drain put in).

Called company and spoke to Chuck White, the owner. He came to the house the next Saturday, on time, and was very pleasant and interested in the particulars of the job. Walked around the house as I pointed out areas of particular concern and he offered constructive suggestions for fixing various existing problems. He gave me his estimate before leaving. After obtaining several other estimates I again called Chuck about a timeline for doing the job and about the 10% Angies discount. He was friendly and positive acknowledging the Angies discount and offering a work schedule for the job that was within the week. Crew showed up promptly and got right to work. Both installers were friendly and hard working. Despite a few difficult areas on the existing installation they removed all the old gutters and installed 98% of the new gutters/downspouts/leaf guards before the end of the day. Chief Installer returned the next morning and finished the job within the hour. New gutters/downspouts/leaf guards look great and appear to work perfectly. (Haven't had much rain yet) The initial invoice, submitted by email, forgot the Angie's discount but this was corrected after I pointed it out in a reply. Their prices were very good, removal and installation were great, cleanup was great! We would definitely recommend White and use them again.

We asked Chuck White for an estimate. He got back to us in about 2 days. He conversed with both my husband and myself about the Leaf Relief system that he recommended. It's a very low profile way to keep gutters covered and clean. This means the covers are less noticeable even though the gutters are larger than the old ones. Also, we have a metal roof on the porch and he was able to fit them on with no damage to the roof. Now we won't have to climb up on a ladder to clean them.
