Description of Work: Jerry and his crew came to my home last year and did an amazing job painting my home. I m about to do more projects and S and J will get the job!!! Sorry it took me forever to write this review.

Description of Work: S & J did a great job painting LR, Kitchen, MBR and BR at my house. Pain looks great and the workers were polite. I will definitely use them again for any painting or handyman work I need done.

Description of Work: I had Mold and Mildew problems, after having that taken care of, S&J Painting and Remodeling Pretty much built me a New Basement, ( Drywall, Painting, Re-constructed Steps ect. They started the project when they said they would and finished in the same way. VERY PLEASED. they were definitely Professional and Personal the Entire Time.

Description of Work: Replaced drywall removed to make hot water heater pipe repairs due to leaking.

Description of Work: Dining Room painted and drywall repair of Family Room ceiling (water damage), along with painting of repaired area. Jonathan worked alone over a 1-1/2 day period, but did a fantastic job. He was detailed and meticulous - worked very skillfully and neatly. Although it is not a requirement, he is very personable and was a pleasure to have in our home. | I was especially impressed by the trim work and how neatly it was done. The room looks great and as a result of the outcome, we have S and J back in our home painting the Family Room and 2 story Foyer. | Jerry, the owner, made a great first impression when we met with him for a free estimate and look at the scope of work. He was professional, but also easy to talk to and answered all of our questions. | The experience was positive, there were no surprises and I would highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: S and J did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier with the job performed.

Description of Work: Upside: The contractor kept his schedule. Downside: 1. The contractor's workers scraped lead-based paint off of the house exterior with no means of catching chips or dust (no drop cloths, and no clean-up sweeping) 2. The contractor claimed not to have seen a thick layer of black mildew on all soffits, and began painting over it with nothing more than a scraping which did not remove but 5% of it. Then when attention was called to it, the contractor claimed a time/cost increase, and yet only sprayed detergent on it and did not rinse or scrub. Then he only applied an oil based primer, not a kilz type product. 3. We specifically asked this contractor to paint but Not to install the 'water-table' trim because we wanted to inspect and treat the 110 year old wood foundation backing, and because we wanted to use special exterior fasteners compatible with pressure treated lumber. The contractor painted then installed the water table trim using narrow gauge common steel fasteners some of which were left sticking out of the back (exposed to weather). 4. Some trim was over-painted onto adjacent surfaces (different color). The contractor offered to do extra work without charge in order to make up for some of these errors, but the first two errors were substantial (lead paint control, painting over mildew) and cannot reasonably be made right. At the end the contractor explained that the men had been with him a good while but that this was their first exterior job.

Description of Work: Removed old wall paper and prepared wall for painting in kitchen. Painted kitchen, dining room, and family room. The wall paper removal was especially well done. That was a tough job.

Description of Work: S&J were the lowest of three bids so we were hesitant at first, but hired them based on high reviews. They helped us determine what needed to be done in our basement remodel and saved us $ along the way. Punctual, professional and quality work.
