The company was quick with a response, but was unable to schedule the service when it was needed. They were kind enough to let me know that I could get a refund.

It was not a very good experience. They had no management oversight on the staff that was there. Rather than picking up the phone and asking questions, they made their own decisions so I had to have them come back numerous times. They painted my doors the wrong color. They did not listen to the instructions on how to fix the porch, they had to redo it. They weren't timely. It was just a really bad experience. The pricing was fine.

Painting crew was rude, and argued with my husband, about the colors I had requested. I had specifically requested three colors to be applied and placed the paint in front of each wall, and told them would be downstairs for any questions. They would not permit my husband to enter our bedroom immediately when He requested. We prepped the room by filling and sanding all holes, and taping everything off. They got paint on the ceiling, the floor, countertops, bathtub, drips of paint everywhere. The cut in lines wavered, not straight. When confronted, the painter blamed the poor job on the drywall. I am an armature painter, and have done a better job in other rooms of my home.

Alex and Alex were the painters that came to my house. They were punctual, professional and friendly. I knew I had a lot that I wanted painted in the timeframe I had, but Alex and Alex were able to complete all of the work for me. I love the job that they did and left the house as clean as it was before they painted. I couldn't be happier.

Initial contact was great, I thought there was no follow up but their estimate went into my junk folder. As soon as they realized the problem, they called me up. I haven't yet made the decision to have them do the bathroom but they're definitely in the running.

His painting skills were not good and we weren't satisfied with his job. He had to leave and come back and we weren't happy about that either.

Arrived 15 minutes early which gave them time to set up before beginning the promised 8 hours. They were very professional, very tidy, and thorough. There were several places that needed patching which were completed before painting. The end result was quite beautiful. I was not sure that they would be able to paint all of the area that I designated in 8 hours. They assessed it at the beginning and assured me that it would be accomplished. At the end of the promise time they were packing up and making sure that they had put everything back in place. I would definitely use them again

They had the right guy for the work i needed done. Very difficult problem in the house that took 25 years to fix, so really boiled down to someone with the right smarts to figure out what was going on. He was an expert and would recommend to anybody.

They did an excellent job in the amount of time we had purchased on the Big Deal. We were very pleased.

I was having my condo painted in order to turn it into a rental unit. Stacey replied to my email inquiry right away, and after determining that they would be available to accommodate my crazy schedule (I was also preparing to move across the country the following week!), I purchased their 2 painters for the day big deal. Originally they were scheduled to come on 3/3/14, however, due to yet MORE SNOW in the area, we had to reschedule for Friday, 3/7/14. The two gentlemen arrived on time, and after a brief walk-through where I showed them everything that needed to be done, they got right to work. When they finished, they had me walk through and let them know if it was ok. I noticed that nails and screws hadn't been removed and filled, and asked if that was something that could be corrected. They had left them thinking that I would be rehanging whatever had been there, but when I told them I was moving, and nothing would be rehung, they pulled the screws and filled the holes with no complaint. Overall, I was very satisfied. The place looked great when they were done. Where they repaired the drywall, you couldn't tell there had ever been an issue. My only note is to be specific about what you want them to do - I assumed because all of my stuff was packed up in boxes in the middle of the living room that they would know to pull the nails and screws and fill the holes, but that's what I get for assuming. LOL

We hired S&J Painting and Remodeling to paint our master bedroom and daughter's bedroom. We are very happy with their work. Alex and Alex showed up at 9am sharp and quickly got to work. My husband and I got most of the furniture and all items on the wall off before they arrived. Whatever was left in the rooms, they covered and got to work. The rooms look great and couldn't have asked for more. We have a catherdal ceiling in our bedroom, which I was worried about, but they painted it perfectly and didn't use any ladders. They were there 8 hours and after they left the room were clean; carpets and furniture never got dirty. All in all I would use them again in a heartbeat!

They were like a last minute call. They came into the home on their own and let themselves out. Everything was super tidy. They were very professional and no things were taken. We were able to go and look at the work and it was topnotch.

We had a great deal of painting to get done. We actually decided to patch all of the nail holes and remove all of the switch plates and move furniture to the middle of the room. This is because we wanted to maximize the painting time. I CANNOT say enough good things about both of the painters. On time, professional, worked their tales off for 8 hours! I NEVER expected them to accomplish what they did in eight hours. They were clean, and did an amazing job. Bottom line is I cannot say enough good things about their service.

They even accommodated picking up paint as at the last minute we were not able to be available to pick up the paint selections we had made from Home Depot. They moved furniture gratis without complaint or problem. I was having to arrange for the painting in Clarksville, Maryland from Pensacola, FL and they were able to completely accommodate my needs. Will definitely use again and have recommended to friends.

They started a day later than scheduled, delayed apparently due to job backups because of the snow, but not letting us know until the last minute. We had canceled a weekend trip, thinking they would be starting on Monday, but they didn't start until Tuesday. They finished within the three days as promised, though. They cleaned up well after each day and were very polite and professional. No complaints with the work. The job was a little pricey, but the results were what we wanted and expected.

I was very impressed by their customer service. They were very accommodating and understanding of my situation.

It got off to kind of a slow start. One item on the estimate, was to be billed hourly. This work was for some woodwork to rebuild a corner of a deteriorated portion of a low cornice (at the first floor level). I prefer a set estimate, without open ends (unless unexpected surprises arise- I feel a professional painter looking at the job at hand, knows exactly what the job is and knows how to estimate it). Though the section to be rebuilt was not that big, or unusual, I thought he could estimate what it would take to do that woodwork. I gave in and left it open ended (the young job supervisor did the woodwork and ended up doing an excellent job in a reasonable amount of time). The guy who was the on-site supervisor, came out to look at the job and indicated they would be painting the three story house with ladders. This would require the ladders going into the parking lane of the street so the angle was not too extreme. So this lead to another problem I had with them. They would not be responsible for the permits required. Since I am on a corner, I therefore had to get permits for blocking the sidewalk and curb lane of two streets. This was not cheap, and additional to the price quoted above. After one day (started with a power wash of the house), they decided instead they would use scaffolding. They continued to work for a few days, but called off the last few days of the week to wait for the scaffolding to arrive on the following Monday. Big waste of an expensive permit that has to be secured for a week at a time, because they were not organized enough to know how they should execute the job. The next issue, was that after the power wash, some mortar was blown out. Now we got into an argument about whether this work (fixing the blown out mortar) should be charged extra. This is just the kind of issue I try to avoid, demanding an accurate estimate. It is my belief that it should not have been a surprise that some mortar work would be required after a power wash of this 83 year old house- loose mortar was apparent upon the initial inspection. The owner was not available to come by, and work needed to continue, so the issue of extra charges was not resolved but mortar work had to be done. Ended up paying some extra for that work (much less than they wanted to charge me). Other problems that arose, I was asked to get some replacement panes of glass the were cracked and needed to be replaced. I was given the wrong measurement, so that was a wasted expense. I had to get new glass a few days later, after the error was realized. Why should I have to get and pay for that? The other major issue was that in the process of re-glazing the glass (being the end of a row,I have a lot of windows, the putty leaves an ugly smear on the glass. It was my expectation that cleaning that off the glass was part of their normal clean up of the job. This was clearly a mess they created, why would they not clean it up. From the inside, it is horrible looking though dirty glass. I had to fight and fight for them to do that clean up, even with holding the final payment, since I was told over and over they did not do windows. They finally did clean the windows, but not very well. I must say the actual paint job was well done. It was all these other issues that were a real source of hassle. Seemed to me that the estimate was low balled to get the job, and then issues that were predictable and could have been included in the estimate became add-ons to jack up the price. I was also irritated at the money I had to waste in getting unneeded permits. That they even would not get involved with the permit process, therefore they did not care that their poor planning was a huge extra expense to me. I thought all of that was terribly unprofessional. Again I thought the paint job it self was well done. PS. I remembered one other problem, also around clean up. I had a vacant apartment on the first floor and basement. I allowed them to paint a couple of basement and first floor windows from the inside (easiest access) and to also use the bathroom in the apartment. Well, they did not clean up after themselves at all. I had to remove paint cans and supplies, and clean up the rooms and bathroom, so I could start to show the apartment. I could not wait for them to come and clean up their mess.

It went very well and they are very good. We were very satisfied. It was done very well. My wife did not have any problems with them. I would use them again.

The painters were professional and did an excellent job. I have not had them do additional work, but would gladly use them in the future.

He was very good. He did a good job. He cleaned up. He worked the full day.

I had a very good experience. They were very prompt and did an excellent job. I can't say enough nice things about these people.

We used this deal for interior painting. They were ok. I think the scheduling was challenging, however they were very professional and apologetic. They handled the situation well. The painting wasn't bad, but it wasn't fantastic. I feel like the guy was a decent painter if he wouldn't have been rushed.

Excellent service and experience. Contact and communication was excellent from the very beginning. Jerry came out in person to perform the estimate and work started the very next Monday (two days before Christmas too!). Two very professional painters came out and did an exceptional job. Jonathan was our main point of contact and he made sure to keep us informed and ensure the job went exactly as we requested. They cleaned up after themselves and were extremely thorough. Incredibly satisfied. Even better than expected!

My experience went very well. They did an excellent job painting. The staff was very professional and knowledgeable in their field. They estimated 5 days for the job and they did it in 3 days. They did 2 coats on everything when I was excepting 1 coat. The pricing was reasonable and I would highly recommend this company to others.

Alex was very professional and did a fantastic job. You can't tell that there was ever a hole in the ceiling. Would definitely recommend Alex.
