Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

The pipe was collapsed. However, Bawk our Plumper was very professional. He took care not to dirty the house. He put bootys on his boots, a tarp on the floor and even brought in rags to clean the snaking machine he used. He originally quoted $460.00 then reduced to $385.00 because I was an Angies list customer to snake the pipe and clear the blockage. However, when he realized the pipe was collapsed he reduced the cost to &250.00 without me even asking. It was not his fault that the pipe was collapsed and I had already signed to okay $385.00 but Bawk lowered the price anyway. Bawk Nhkum is a true gentlemen and professional you can rely on to not take advantage of you.

This went great even though I didn’t get what I wanted. It was a little too expensive for me. They were nice and they gave me some suggestions so I can’t complain.

I believe they cracked my sink and did not say anything about it. I dislike the fact that they cracked my sink and did not tell me. The rest of it was okay.

Charles Graham came out and fixed a problem that I had paid two others look at it, and he is the only one that knew how to handle the situation. He was very proficient and professional.

I had a great experience with my technician, Rohming. Roto-Rooter was my second call on a Saturday, and I needed same day help. The technician was so nice and helpful. He explained everything he did, worked really hard to keep everything clean, and pointed out some areas where I would need future service. I was very impressed with the service I received and I'll call them when I need help in the future.

My water heater stopped working Friday night. Most plumbing company were not open on Saturday. I called 5 places before I called this company. None of them had anyone available, because of the short notice. I called Roto Rooter, and they answered right away. The scheduled someone to come out between 9 and 12. The person called at 9:15 to say that they were on their way. The plumber was courteous and professional. He identified the issue, gave me a quote on time and cost, performed the repair, and verified his repair for me. Next time I am calling this company first.

I am happy that Roto-rooter was able to send someone out on such short notice (I called this morning and they came this afternoon). I am unhappy, however, with the condition in which my house was left. I don't expect your employee to clean my whole bathroom but I do expect that he will clean up water he spilled on the ground and carpet. Furthermore he drug his large machine up and down my wood steps causing permanent damage (scrapes, scratches and blue paint marks). Also, the machine stained my carpet near the bathroom. The camera guy that came the next day was fine... He took the time to explain everything and showed me the video and told me what I needed to do to resolve my issue. Roto-rooter was definitely not the cheapest company (about 6-7 times more expensive than your competitors) and for the amount I paid I really expect that your employees will respect my home.

Pretty amazing work - all done outside in the freezing cold weather and snow falling. The technician luckily came well equipped, and was able to remove the aluminum soffit cover and cut away the floor from the outside in order to get to the kitchen copper pipes from below (not an easy task to say the least). Once exposed, he was able to insulate and custom fit a board box to protect from cold and wind in the coming years. Very thankful for the professional work and attention to detail.

They were quick and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. I felt they gave a fair price to cover expenses beyond the Angie's list deal.

Had a leaking shower drain. It was located in a place that was hard to reach. We had to remove a section of HVAC duct to get to the drain. He spent several hours trying to fix it before we finally removed the duct. In the end, he adjusted some time and I wound up not using the AL deal for plumbing services to save some money. In the end, I had to hire an HVAC person to come back and repair the duct.

The guy came here and he automatically wanted to charge me $400 to run a snake down my PVC pipe for my washing machine. I thought it was insane. I did it myself. I was taken aback why he was going to charge me that kind of money just to run a snake.

The entire job went smooth. Kenneth and Quentin are skilled plumbers who immediately determined the problem areas of my plumbing and tackled them like pros. Their demonstration of good workmanship and customer service was indeed evident. Smoothly. Technician was very proficient and did a great job with the task and clean the work area well. No complaints whatsoever.

We'd discovered a slow leak from one of the bolts on the tank of the old toilet. It wasn't bad yet, but was constant. Called Roto-Rooter as we'd had excellent service from them before. They said they could have someone out in an hour. They called the contact at the house to let us know he was on his way. He got stuck in traffic for a little while, but we were in no hurry. Purcell (ID#3755) took a look at our ancient avocado toilet and the rusty bolt and recommended we get a new toilet. The likelihood of the tank breaking while trying to remove the old bolt was too high and a new toilet would be much more efficient with water usage. We could purchase one through them or he could install one we purchased on our own. He could come back tomorrow if need be. He made sure to show me the rates for various options. Then he gave me a recommendation for a good brand and the measurements I needed to head off to the store nearby while he clocked out and took his lunch break. When I got back, he'd nearly finished removing the old toilet. He carried it out of the house to where we indicated. Then got the new toilet out of the back of my truck and began the install. Installation went smooth and clean. Purcell was polite, very helpful, and extremely efficient at his work. We feel confident contacting Roto-Rooter again should we have any plumbing needs as we received the excellent and efficient service we have come to expect of them.

Once the plumber resolved the issue, he walked through the how he found the issue, where it was clogged and why... Once the restoration team arrived the next morning, they spent approx. 12 hours removing carpet, placing drying mats to try and save the wood floors, removed all destroyed debris, etc.... They repeatedly said to the insurance company that they do not want me to pay anything out of pocket.... I only paid for the plumbing, which is part of my home insurance agreement...

It took him 3 hours to overhaul the toilet. The tech said he could have charged us $650 but gave us the best cost at $417 and then said I could not use the $75 coupon because he had already given me the best number. In some ways it was nice that he gave me $230 off but I question the entire pricing structure to begin with.

It went great. Provider thoroughly explained the source of the problem. Gave a clear and concise diagnosis. Offered a competitive price and was able to perform the work the very next day. The work was professionally done, clean, with a sense of urgency, but with meticulous care.
