Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

I was given an initial time frame for arrival by dispatch. The technican was delayed and dispatch relayed the message to us accordingly. Our technician, Bryan, was polite and worked quickly. Price was a little high, but given it was a Sunday call it is what it is and probably the standard weekend rate.

Great - Chan and the dispatchers did an excellent job. My only quibble was that bizarre bill.

Chal saved the day!! Roto Rooter extended communication with me right after my purchase. Everything went well until I tried to call them back...I talked to 2 people that didn't understand I made the purchase through Angie's list. So, needless to say, I wasn't sure this was going to turn out right. Then, I finally talked to a really nice lady that understood the Angie's list purchase. A gentleman showed up named Chal Sailo and everything took a turn for the better. Chal was awesome!! He understood what needed to be done and repaired the pipe in the sink. He even caulked the base of the sink for me, free of charge. Chal gave me an extremely generous discount because he realized it was a simple job. The customer service department needs to be versed on how to handle Angie's list clients.

Came promptly the same day called and did excellent work. The price seemed high for a sump pump and a cleared drain. Well, i thought it was excellent work - one and a half weeks later, it rained. The drain that was supposed to have been cleared backed up again and flooded the basement. I am now mopping the floor and waiting for the tech to come back tomorow. Update - A different. more experienced tech came today. He determined that the new sump pump was not working because it had been installed with the cord wrapped around the float, which kept the motor from turning on. He also noted that the drain had not been fully cleaned which was why it was barely draining. He used a motorized snake to clean a large amount of dirt that was blocking the drain. He was courteous and very neat, even placing booties on his muddy boots whenever he came in the house. The work was done free of charge since the sump pump and drain cleaning were still under warranty. I just wish the job had been done this well the first time and saved me some mopping!

Unclog toilet by removing the toilet from the floor. Then using a snake cable spent like 45 minutes trying to reach the clog, and then he put everything back together. He first try to reach the clog from outside the house to try to save me some money but the clog was inside the house. He also provided additional services to stop a lickage from the cable connecting the toilet and using the right parts for the flushing of the toilet.

The tech was on time. His appearance was professional and he worked efficiently. I think his work was exemplary and we are very happy with the results. I'm not sure the $50.00 discount I was promised was applied to the bill. I cannot discern any discounts from looking at the invoice.

They were great! They came on time, they called to let us know when they would come. They came the same day without charging extra fees.

After having another plumbing company(that I found on Angie's List) come out and snake our drain (with no guarantee on the work), it backed up again within a week, I returned to Roto-Rooter to take a look at the problem. They hit the mud and told us we needed a camera inspection. A great young man named Mark Adams came out to inspect the drain and discovered the break in the pipe, and gave us a quote. As soon as we decided we would use them to repair the job, Mark Adams came right out with the crew and they completed the job that day. We ran into a situation that could have caused us to move the air handler in the basement, but Mark returned to run the camera again, and they were able to reroute the pipe in order to not have to pull all the equipment out. That was wonderful news to us!! Mark was very informative, kept in touch with us, and explained the process for completing our insurance claim. All was taken care of in a timely manner. Mark Adams is the kind of person you can only hope to get when you have a large job like this, you can tell he enjoys his job, cares about the customers he is working with, all plumbing companies should be staffed with people like him. I will always call Roto-Rooter for our plumbing needs, don't know why we tried another company in the first place, (actually my husband thought we would get a better price) they have always done a superior job when they have had to come to our house, and price, well we spent $400.00 more trying the other company that we would have saved if we would have call Roto-Rooter in the first place.

It went well. They were great and efficient. They set the time and they were right there. They finished the work and they were clean. They told me everything and taught me how to do an inspection then they approved.

The technician (Ronnie2023) arrived. We went over what the problem was. He explained how he would fix it- gave me a couple of options on the type of faucet I could use. He was very professional and friendly; he even took a minute to pet my Jack Russell Terrier (MY JRT gives him two paws up) He completed the job in a timely manner, cleaner up his work area and provided my all of my documentation. I had never used Roto-Rooter before but when two other companies I had used in the past couldn't come out on a Saturday afternoon to fix my problem (at this point I had to turn the water off to my entire house) I gave them a call. every satisfied with the service & the tech!

That went great. He was very professional and just charged the amount that he said he would.

Line needs to be replaced outside. Corroded and erosion of the line was seen. numerous holes in outside line need replacing. Crew was very very polite and professional. Greg Thompson 8288 and Quentin 2586 were wonderful Also Also Gregory Thompson 8288 also came with camera and showed me all work needing to be completed. WIlll complete the work on Monday May 18th

Our service providers name was Scott. I cannot say enough good things for the excellent service this man gave us. Unfortunately with each problem he fixed lead him to something else that needed to be repaired. He was there for the entire day into the evening. He went over and beyond helping us at a time that was very stressful for us.

It was fine. I ended up spending more money than I wanted. He did a good job I just wished it could have been a little more clear from them that the 79 dollars didn't really cover very much. In the future I would like more information on what specifically the deal covers. The staff was fine.

It turned out good. Response time was great. They did well. They were local experience. I would recommend them to friends and family. They were professional. I liked his attention to detail.

It was okay. I was a little bit disappointed that it was more than what the Big Deal was that I purchased.

He came the same day I called (Sunday). Assessed the situation and said he would come back and fix it the next morning, The job itself took less than a half hour, and much of that was waiting to see if the replacement would leak. He did not replace the removed valve with a valve with the same specs. The new valve had a much lower pressure rating about 200 as compare to 400). I questioned him about it and he said I shouldn't worry because the building pressure was less than the spec on the part he put in. Still, I was concerned. The charge was $480.47 labor for a half hour job and $69.53 for the part itself that I believe cost less than $20 at Home Depot. $250 of the charge was paid for with a $79 Angie's List offer. So what I paid was actually $379 but the overall charge on the bill was $550.00 I thought the cost was rather high for the work performed. I do not like the fact that the replaced check valve has a lower rating that the one he removed, so I do not plan to use this service again.

Technician arrived quickly. Quoted price for the installation and began work. The technician was customer friendly and very competent. I would used this service again. I though the price was a little high but the technician arrived at my home and began work in less than an hour of my call. The technician was in and out in less than 2 hours from my call to Angies list

My father's wedding ring slipped off his finger and went down the drain. We could see it, but it was too far down to reach. This ring has even more sentimental value since my mother passed away last year. I called roto-rooter around 5 p.m. and they came that same evening. He took the pipes apart from underneath the sink and within minutes, the ring dropped out safely. We are extremely happy and grateful for such prompt and professional service.

I called and within 90 min someone was here. The labor was $319 and the remaining was the cost of the sump pump and some piping. I felt the cost was extremely high, but the installation was done very well.

It was fine. They were available and responded promptly.

Charlie was great. He was very thorough and explained what was needed. Afterwards he instructed me on how to maintain plumbing in the future. Great guy!
