Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

The plumber who came out to my house was extremely professional and quickly diagnosed the problem. He kept everything clean and put back everything that needed to be moved. The entire service took under 15 minutes once started and I planned to use a coupon that cost $75 for $250 worth of service. Imagine my surprise when they bill was to cost me an additional $120+! The plumber showed me the pre-set list of prices for the service. Evidently, regardless of how long it took the plumber, it was going to cost the same high amount. The plumber recognized that it seemed high for the minimal amount of time but I understood that he was not in a position to change the charge. I paid the amount but later complained to the office. To their credit, they were wonderfully responsive and refunded the cost over my coupon. I so appreciated their generosity in their response.

I called because the was a drainage stoppage associated with the AC unit. The Roto-Rooter technician named Van showed up on time and listined patiently while I explained the problem to him. He investigated for a few minutes, explained what was wrong and gave me an estimate. He worked quickly and after about 30 minutes the drainage was repaired. He was very professional and prompt. I would absolutely use this service again and recommend him to others.

THE PLUMBER MICHAEL ARRIVED ON TIME. HE LOOKED AT THE PIPE AND EXPLAINED THE OPTIONS OPEN TO ME THE PLUMBING IS VERY OLD AND ONE OPTION WAS TO REPLACE PART OF IT TO FIX THE LEAK ** VERY EXPENSIVE ** AND THE OTHER SINCE I WAS NOT USING THAT TUB WAS TO CAP THE PIPE * LITTLE MORE THAT I EXPECTED TO PAY*** BUT A LOT CHEAPER THAT THE PAST WATER BILLS . HE WAS EFFICIENT AND RESPECTFULL AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN

Service went amazing! As soon as Chris entered my home he noticed the problem and went right to work, trying to solve the problem. After, finding a solution to the problem he not only fixed it, but wanted to check something else that wasn't even an original concern of mine. Chris noticed that my condensation tube was draining into my french drain and not my sump pump. Chris, then went out of his way to educate me on how to re-position the tubes to drain into my sump pump and not the french drain. Chris was so helpful and now he's my plumber for LIFE. Thanks a bunch Chris!

I recently had a plumbing problem that required cutting out part of the ceiling to correct. Roto Rooter had a technician to my house within a few hours to take care of it. The plumber (Zaw, #1409) was very professional and was able to fix the leak by removing only a very small part of the ceiling. I will definitely use Roto Rooter to help with any future plumbing issues.

It went fine. They did a good job, it's just that the big deal turned out to be as much as a smaller corporation plumber would cost for all we had to do. They guy was professional but it was pricy. I think it's because they offer 24 hour services. I wasn't that blown away and he wasn't super informational.

When I called the company ahead of time to get an approximate cost for the job no one would give me an hourly rate stating that "it depends on the job" however they refused to even give a ballpark on the price. When the technician arrived be barely spoke English making communication very difficult. He took one look at the tub and said "this will cost $390 to snake the drain and I am not sure if we can fix the stopper." This was WAY more than we were expecting to pay for repairing a simple stopper...at this point the technician was already at the house and we needed the issue resolved so we had him complete the service. The technician was able to resolve the stopper issue however, not being able to get even an estimate on the price was ridiculous and maybe should have been my first red flag. My suggestion is to go with a company that is more upfront with its costumers about pricing and who can send a technician that is easier to communicate with.

The overall service was good. The price was extremely high. The provider dropped the installation price by $175.00 once I said I would pass because I found a better deal. The price was high, but I have no complaints with the quality of the work. I think that the special should be clear that the initial cost is just for an estimate of plumbing services, not $75.00 of plumbing for $25.00. Maybe I'm just dense but it was confusing to me.

We got very quick response to the call and the service was preformed professionally; Good cleanup afterward.

We called Roto-Rooter to install a new laundry sink we bought. Our sink was old and the metal drain piping underneath had cracked / became disconnected from the pipe leading out though the wall of the laundry room. Repair drain pipe below my laundry sink. The technician advised that connecting the new laundry sink we bought would be expensive since the drain on the new laundry sink we bought was in the rear of the sink and not at the center like our old laundry sink. This would require reconfiguring the (copper) pipe leading to the wall. He recommended simply replacing the cracked pipe and elbow connector and continuing to use our old laundry sink. We had a $75 plumbing services voucher. The final cost (labor/parts) after subtracting the $75.00 value of the voucher was $238.00. My wife was home during the repair. When I arrived home, I looked at the repair work. It involved attaching a new straight (pvc) pipe to the drain of the our sink and connecting that to a (pvc) elbow connector and then connecting the elbow to the pipe leading to the wall. It didn't look like a $313.00 ($238 + $75.00) job. My wife said the technician was finished in less than an hour. I think the charge for the work done was over priced. I had a cracked drainage pipe(from the garbage disposal) & old p-trap replaced under my kitchen sink and it cost a lot less. I won't be using Roto-Rooter for my next plumbing job.

Overall, m my experience was quite good. Booking my appointment was easy and the woman who took my information, Linda, was very nice and helpful. I was given an appointment window between 5pm-7pm and I received a call when the plumber was on his way. The plumber who addressed my issues was Chal. Chal was very professional from the beginning and was also thorough in explaining things to me. He tested the toilets and listened for various things in the sewer lines and helped me understand what the problems could be before he jumped into price, etc. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but Chal worked hard the whole time and I felt good at the end when he went over it all again and also told me about the 30 day guarantee (drain) and the 6 month guarantee (pipes under house/toilet) on the work. Chal was also helpful with answering some questions for me and even took a look at my toilet handle upstairs that was broken and recommended some plumbing supply stores where I may be able to find a replacement, since I have not been able to find it anywhere.

Our hot water side began leaking from our bath tub spigot. It started as a drip and quickly progressing to a fast, steady stream of water by the end of a weeks time. We called Rotorooter on a Friday around 4pm. By 6:30 pm we had a tech in our house. They told us we would get a phone call within 30 - 45 minutes of the tech arriving. After that phone call, Michael (tech #3256) showed up within the time frame given. He was very pleasant and introduced himself to both me and my husband with a handshake. He immediately went to work in the bathroom, quickly figuring out what was wrong and went to his truck for the parts. He was very open and honest about what was wrong and what he needed to fix. He didn't mind me hanging out in the bathroom with him so I could see how it was done. While he worked, we made pleasant conversation and he explained what he was doing. It wasn't long before he fixed the leaking faucet by replacing the inside pieces. He tested it several times to be sure it was fixed and made sure I was happy. Overall, Michael was such a great tech and was so pleasant to work with. I even checked to make sure that if we needed a plumber again if we could call Rotorooter and request him specifically. It seems like we can... and we would. Great, really fast correction to our issue saving us water, time, and money. Thank you Michael!

The service man was polite and knowledgeable but just over all very expensive experience. I would prefer to work with a company owned by the plumber. I have not noticed any leaks yet but now I have to save money to pay someone to close that hole in my ceiling and under my sink he left.

Overall the experience was great, and the work performed was done to our satisfaction. The technician was very professional, and did a good job with the installation of the new pipe, couplings. Our only concern was the price of the work being done, and this was addressed with the local manager of Roto - Rooter. After listening to our concern, they did understand refund us part of the bill back to us.

They provided me with an estimate to change the flush valve and the flapper (parts are around $15-$33) and they wanted an extremely higher price than I was willing to pay to do the labor. The technician was very unprofessional.
