We are purchasing a home that has been recently renovated from the ground up. It was about 98% complete when Scott initially inspected the home, and he pointed out every single thing that needed to be finished up, tightened up, sealed up, etc. We were able to negotiate those items into our contract and might not have known to ask for the help without his keen eye. We rehired him after the work was all done, and he noted that a few of the items were not complete--items such as improper insulation in an attic crawl space. I would have never known the difference, but it turned out the builder failed an occupancy permit inspection because of the lack of insulation--Scott was absolutely correct. We could not have done this transaction without him.

The inspection was performed by Greg Holden, one of the associate at Maury Home Inspections, LLC. He was methodical, detail oriented and provided thorough explanations. During the inspection he also provided helpful suggestions and tips on the maintenance throughout the visits as I'm a first time owner. The final report provided detailed information/assessment, suggested actions, and photographs. Was really impress with the quality of the service. Highly recommended!

The inspection provided a detailed report and answered all of our questions. The inspection was well worth the expense.

Not well. Inspector sent out was not thorough. Here are just a few things he missed which cost us thousands to fix 1. gas line outside of house not surrounded by appropriately hard metal (code violation) 2. Asbestos tiles on two floors (inspector did not identify) 3. Deteriorating chimney 4. in slab ductwork There were many more Refused to refund money for the inspection. Do not use them. Try Protec Inspection Services instead. They are great!

Inspector was punctual, thorough and patient with explanations.

He has been in business for 20 plus years. Has always done a wonderful job every time I use his services.

He was very thorough, he went on the roof. Scott checked all the mechanical systems in the home. He checked the wall construction since it is a new home and he took photos of everything. He walked me through the home and explained every last detail about what he covered in the inspection.
