Original deadline was missed by roughly 1.5 weeks on a 3 week project. Issues were result of oddities in previous rehab construction. Upcharge for the additional work was fair and reasonable. Very happy with overall work and outcome. Have already booked them for a second job.

Bill and the folks at Herizon's unlimited were a joy to work with. Together, we completed a major renovation the remained close to budget and finished early. If we were unhappy with anything that was being completed, Bill and the gang were quick to make adjustments and complete the job to our satisfaction. The team was extremely kind, courteous, and professional. Bill was highly flexible and even started a couple of weeks before the agreed upon start date. The team worked hard to accomidate me and my wife's ever changing needs. We are so very grateful for the services that Herizon's provided. We would absolutely recommend them to absolutely anyone.

I used the big deal shortly after I purchased it and it was alright. There was not any additional charge on top of the big deal price. The guy who came out just went to the roof and checked if the roof is good or bad. I have not used the company before and I have not used them to do anything because the guy just came and inspected. I had already gotten an inspection done before I purchased my home and I just wanted someone else to take a look at it as well so that is why I purchased the deal. Maybe I would use them again in the future but I am not sure.

It was not a bad experience just unfortunate. The provider was very good with keeping in close touch (during bad weather) and then informed me that the deal was taken off the "list" due to a misinterpretation of work to be done. I have scheduled am appointment for estimate outside of the "deal". I have been happy with Horizon's follow up with me on what to do for the refund, etc. Hopefully they can be a part of "the Big Deals" in the future.

I thought it went very well. After reading negative reviews from customers who purchased the "Big Deal", I considered cancelling. I'm glad I didn't. I got a great service. I was also reasonable with my expectations. I didn't demand to remove all caulk, I simply wanted to reinforce those that failed. They worked a little less than 90 minutes. During that time they caulked 10-12 windows. They did a superb job! Guys were friendly and courteous. I wouldn't mind seeing them again in my home. I need a lot of things done in the future and they will be the first company I call.

In less than 5 minutes the lead tech informed me I needed 2 pipe collars replaced for $350. He then told me they only get $50 and Angie gets the rest. They only calked about 70% of the windows.

He said that his ad wasn’t accurate and that people were expecting more than he was offering. By mutual agreement, we didn't proceed.

I did contract with them for roof work and gutter work and they have not done that yet due to weather. I did contract with them as well to replace attic stairs and to put an exterior French door in an interior opening. I have not heard from them on the work and I did pay them the deposits for the work.

The company came on the scheduled date and was prompt. Stated that repairs would not fix or solve the problem. Company was honest and professional in not providing a useless service and I appreciate that.

In a word: Badly. I have photos of before and after for the window caulking I paid for. It's a disaster, done in a hurried, careless manner after a hard sales pitch by the provider to up-sell me. Instead, I simply asked for the services they had advertised and I had purchased. It was pouring rain and I suggested it was not a good day to do this work, but the provider insisted that his caulk would work. He then told me he would do ONLY the windows he thought needed caulking and then did only THE PARTS of the window he thought needed it. There is no rhyme or reason to his pattern of caulk, other than a clear inability to lay a straight bead of caulk. Seriously, another Angie's list provider has looked at this work and agreed with my opinion. Again, I have photos. This company is interested in replacing your windows or roof or other major jobs. That's OK. Problem is that if you only want the service you paid for they get testy and in my case do a job that not just poor--I will actually need to remove everything they did and that will cost many times more than this job. I would avoid this vendor. The work they did on my home was shabby. Long before I posted this review I conveyed this to the vendor directly in an email and there was no response.

I ended up not using the coupon, because after he came out to take a look, he gave us a bill for $2300.00.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased for a $99 roof inspection. The services turned out great. They were quick to be able to investigate the leakage. The only downside was that they were a little on the high side although they did a great job. The other work was probably 50 percent more than what I bought but since they were there, I didn't bother going with another contractor. They were well prepared for the job other than their rates being a little high. They hit my pocketbook pretty hard. I would use them again because I knew the kind of work they did and the quality of the work but I was a little disappointed because of the price. I wish they were more competitive.

The service was fine but the price is expensive.

He didn’t find anything wrong. At least he didn’t try to sell anything which was good. I’m happy. I had a leak on my roof but he said it might have been caused by someone blowing stuff up there. He couldn’t find anything and he checked all around. Their communication with me was okay. I think their price is average. When I called, he set a time and that’s when he came. He came when he said he would.

Before I purchased this special package, I emailed Horizon several times to ask questions with regard any limits on the number of windows, inclement weather, whether weather impacts caulking, and what if there is too much existing old caulk around the windows. Questions answered to my satisfaction and I purchased the deal. Horizon promptly contacted me and we set-up an appt. Appointment day arrived, yard and roof were snow covered, but they still showed up. Caulked only around one door in the basement. No window or other doors were touched. I walked around to check all my first floor windows an doors. Called Horizon, they said it was too snowy to check the second floor windows and roof. Asked if they were going to reschedule. Got an earful from person answering phone how he had no control over the wording over the Angie's List Big Deal promotion and it was ridiculous for any reasonable person to think any company would caulk whole house of windows for $99. I promptly explained that I had emailed him with the number of windows on my home and was told it was not a problem. He said Horizon would be out the next week. They did not show. Called again, was told they would be out the following week if weather permitted, did not show. Waited three weeks to see if they would contact me to reschedule, heard not one word. Finally asked for a refund. The caulking around the basement door looks like a 10 year old did it, very sloppy work.

Horizons was great with their personalized service from Bill and Mike. I felt that I really trusted Bill's advice and guarantee he provided in the contract. They were persistent in following up with me, and since I am a busy person, I am glad that they did. They took the time to explain the repairs and performed them perfectly over two trips, both in inclement weather. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I felt that they were using the deal to try and get you to buy additional work. The deal was to caulk the outside windows. However, when I talked to someone he told me it was too cold to caulk the windows. Why offer this deal in the winter? I am glad he was honest but I still got the feeling they just wanted to come to the house and show you other things they could find wrong.

He took the time to explain the issues with the pipe collars on the roof and what the issues were with the roof/wall interface. Seemed very knowledgeable about roofing. I will definitely consider them when doing the follow-up work. The only improvement I can suggest is that they could clarify that the caulking will only be done where missing or cracked.

Prompt service, courteous estimator. Discussed options, final estimate was just more than anticipated due to additional work needed.

The crew only worked on a few windows and did not do a complete job on the few they worked on. I paid to have all windows caulked, not for an opinion on whether it was needed or not. Would not recommend.

Overall - TERRIBLE. No work was done. I explained they will need access to the house as I do not have steps from the back yard to my second level deck. I explained I have a caregiver at the house all the time and she can let them in. They never came into the house. They let the caregiver know they were there, then after about six minutes the caregiver said they were gone. No caulking was done. They said I didn't need caulking. But they never inspected second level windows as they had no ladder. There was about two inches of snow on my deck and it was undisturbed. I have multiple windows around the wrap around deck including the family room and morning room that were never inspected. They did not inspect the roof flashing. The caregiver called me and reported all this to me. She put the Horizon employee on the phone with me and he said he will inspect it all, but then didn't. LOUSY company. I called the owner at Horizons Mike Gmeinwieser to complain and requested a refund. He processed the refund, but email message stated I needed to call Angie's list for refund payment.

We purchased the Big Deal for roof inspection and window caulking. They came a day early and did not complete the work. I contacted the owner and he said his men decided I did not need the work completed. He offered to refund the $99.00. He was very honest and nice. I hope to contact them for future work. The only suggestion would be that the men on site would have communicated better with us.
