Green Futures construction and Landscape were PERFECT from beginning to end!!! They were professional ,courteous, careful, prompt, skilled, and pleasant! Eli Pintelle was our project mgr and knowledgeable arborist. He was a pleasure to work with start to finish. He came by within the hour when he heard I had a question about the chips and resolved it quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend them. AND their prices were the best I found!!! I plan to use them for other work now that I see all the services they provide, this was our first time, Thanks guys! Cannot send a photo as the trees have been removed.

We have hired Green Future for two projects and they have exceeded expectations both times. They are efficient, professional, and hard-working. Each time they have worked on a project for us they have gone above and beyond, offering to do a little extra work on their part to optimize the outcome of the final product. My brick walkway was dug up as part of a required sewer pipe replacement. Green Future Construction came out and made suggestions for replacing the walkway with a different material and design. Everything went very smoothly from the beginning to end of the project. The workmanship is terrific and the walkway is beautiful. I'm very happy with the results.

The guys were extremely professional and respectful of my back lawn. They cut down two trees, shredded the limbs, and raked the loose debris from the lawn. Kevin was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had. I would most definitely recommend Green Future for any tree cutting or landscape project.

We would like to take an opportunity to provide feedback concerning our experience at Green Future Construction. We initially met with Mr. John Kattwinkel in early June to discuss our goals for improvement and curve appeal of the exterior of our home by adding a retaining wall. We compared competitive estimates, but we decided to go with GFC for several reasons. John was very professional, but stood out among the rest of the companies because of his passion for his work. It’s not just a job to John, he is a perfectionist and we appreciate his strong work ethic for fine detail. John is a “people person”, he is very welcoming and he understands the needs of the homeowner; he is always readily available to answer multiple questions we posed, all with charm, patience and understanding. Most importantly, John listened to our needs and was very accommodating to our concerns, offering suggestions along the entire process. John is definitely a true artist and we loved the design proposal. The hardscaping crew is phenomenal and we are so pleased with the results. It’s your home, but GFC treats your home as if “it’s their home too”! Considerable effort is made to collaborate and educate the homeowner during this process. It’s the extra steps and the attention to detail that sets this company apart from all the rest. We love the retaining wall, the craftsmanship is top notch and beyond our expectations. While companies may advertise slogans in order to attract clients, Green Future Construction stands behind their core values of “getting the job right” and “customer service”, and this shows in their final work product! I hired Green Future to build a 10 x 14 screened in porch off the back of my house. The initial project manager I worked with was not a great communicator so we had a bumpy start, but he was replaced with Luri before the construction began and Luri did a phenomenal job. He was clear with his communication on timelines and was responsive when I had questions or issues. The porch itself is very high quality and we have gotten a bunch of compliments on it and we use it all the time. The price was substantial but reasonable given the size and scope of the project.

Green Future responded to my inquiry on the same day and came out to give us an estimate within a couple days. The estimate came in quickly and was very reasonable. The coordination of the work was simple and easy. The guys arrived a bit earlier than expected which was perfect for us. They did a fantastic job on our trees and were very mindful of a neighbor whose yard needed to be carefully guarded. They were experienced, friendly, and professional. I will be using them again in the future and would highly recommend.

Green Future Construction was wonderful to deal with. Anthony visited my property within one day of my requesting a quote and I had the estimate/contract in my email shortly thereafter. I was able to complete the entire process online with ease. After receiving my deposit, I was given a date that the work would be completed. Prior to them arriving, Miss Utility showed up to mark hidden electrical lines since the stump was being ground. That was taken care of by the company, not me! The crew arrived on time and were very accommodating to myself and my neighbors who made a little distancing party to watch! All were very impressed with the entire operation. Cleanup was thorough and I had to do nothing. Several neighbors expressed that they would contact Green Future for their work. It was a great experience and all of us had a lot of fun watching!

I asked them to do 2 big jobs, 2 small jobs. The small was branch removal and stump grinding. The larger were the removal and regrading of a former bamboo grove which had been cut down. It went perfectly, and they gave me grass as well. The second was the reworking of a steep front bank with dying trees and stones. They totally reworked it into terraces as I asked, and then also rebuilt the stones around the fire hydrant in front. I am VERY happy with their work. I may ask them for more.

The whole experience was top notch from the estimate to the actual work. Each person I have dealt with has been extremely professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend Green Futures!

We worked with Green Future Construction, Landscaping and Tree Specialists for a comprehensive backyard project that included tree removal, full re-grading and sodding, fencing, and perimeter landscaping. John did a great job working with us to build a plan, and Thomas was on-point to make sure it was executed. Both John and Thomas were responsive to email, text, and phone calls - and they always made themselves available to answer questions without any problem. The team also worked very hard, were extremely friendly and attentive to details, and their craftsmanship was first-rate. The project was also very fairly priced, and they never tried to get us to do more just to spend more money - always presenting the best options within our budget. We would most definitely (and likely will) work with Green Future again.

Excellent work, excellent crew, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. I strongly recommend this company. I will be back for more tree service.

We had a large, dead tree in our front yard. The trunk was just the right size for my wife and I to join hands while standing on opposite sides of it. I’d guess it was sixty feet tall, standing thirty feet from the corner of our house. We did the math. We had two other trees of the same species and similar size about fifteen feet from the side of our house. We definitely needed to have the dead one removed before it fell over on its own and we thought it would be prudent to have the other two taken down as well. Anthony gave us a bid to remove the three trees and grind the stumps. He also included in his estimate an option to just trim the dead branches and reduce the “wind sail” effect of the two live trees. We signed the contract to remove all three trees, then changed our mind and had the two just trimmed. Green Future was very accommodating to our change, even though we had already signed the contract. The change meant, instead of $1,500 and $1,600 (plus $250 per stump for grinding) for the two live trees, we paid only $550 and $575 for the trimming. For an extra $50, Anthony offered to grind a large pile of dead branches we had accumulated since our chipper/shredder had broken down. The whole job came to $2,925, which included hauling away all the wood. The only other bid we got from a licensed contractor was $2,500 for each of the three trees plus $900 per tree stump for grinding. We were only willing to use a licensed company. A neighbor hired some guys to cut some trees down for something like $1,200 to $1,500. Her trees were a bit smaller, but harder to get to. She also had to arrange to rent a cherry-picker for around $1,000 so she didn’t come out too far ahead of us. But I was able to watch our workers from my window and not worry. They were efficient, well coordinated, and mindful of safety. We couldn’t watch our neighbor’s guys—the potential carnage was too nerve wracking. I had an earlier bid from a man driving by while I was working in my driveway. He offered to cut the dead tree down, grind the stump, and haul the wood away for $2,500. $1,500 if he could pile the logs in place. He had a card that said he was licensed and insured but I checked the Maryland government website and he wasn’t listed. So Green Future seemed the best choice of them all. Also, Anthony was very knowledgable, answering questions I had about a couple other trees in our yard. We are very happy with the job they did.

My wife and I have used Green Future twice now since August- first to trim some massive trees near our house and second to regrade our backyard, build a six foot fence to enclose the backyard, and install a patio. Anthony was always prompt, honest, professional, and friendly for our scheduled estimate appointments. Both times the estimates were very competitive. One tree specialist said that he would need to rent a crane to trim our tall trees that were a little difficult to access (raising the cost by $3000), but Anthony assured us his crew could do with a cherry picker...and he was right. Both times the crews were attentive to our requests and our property. In fact, once the crew started working in the backyard, we asked for a few more things to be done, which they did without hesitation. One of those things was a much desirable aesthetic fix to how our drain pipe ran water away from the house; Anthony quoted us a reasonable amount for the parts and labor and it was completed the next day while continuing the other work in the backyard. We love our fence (capped with copper "pyramids" on the posts), patio, and backyard. Included in the price is a reseeding in the Spring to fill in any patchy areas of grass in the backyard. We highly recommend using Green Future and working with Anthony on future projects.

Worked with Thomas and Joey on the planning and execution of the project which turned out very well. Got the job done in a couple days. This is my second project using Green Future, both went great.

8 week project turned into 6 months. Joey (salesman) was excellent and kept on top of the project...sadly, the company did not support him. Some delays due to materials problems beyond their control but many days / weeks where the materials were sitting in the driveway an no one would show up to work . Final product turned out well but it took lots of rework and much longer than expected to complete.

We had a pea gravel driveway Installed with culvert drains and a paver apron. Joey understood exactly what we wanted from the start. He was timely, very responsive, and addressed every question or concern I had. Second, his contract was written clearly and the scope of work was communicated very well, setting everyone’s expectations at the onset. The work started on time and was completed as described. Joey and Thomas gave me a daily update on the work, and made sure I knew what to expect the whole way. The finished driveway was done exactly as described and the deposit/payment method was very easy to take settle.

The Green Future team (Joey - design, Thomas - project manager) went to great lengths to ensure we were satisfied with the design and execution of our large exterior hardscaping project. Communication throughout the project was always readily available to clear up any questions or misunderstandings. We are already thinking of what our next project for Green Future is going to be!

Green Future built a deck for my house and performed some landscaping to address minor drainage issues. The initial bid (for a deck built using Trex materials) was comparable to what several other vendors were quoting for pressure-treated wood that would have required more maintenance. The work was completed within one week of the start date, and the company sent someone out in a timely fashion to address a few minor cleanup issues after the fact. The deck looks great, and I would definitely hire this company again.

Joey Hafner responded to my inquiry right away, followed up with a visit to see the scope of work and responded with a written estimate in a timely matter. Everything was right on schedule as planned. Joey and the others I interacted with were very professional and answered all my questions in great detail. The written contract was excellent and left no ambiguity. The workmen on the job were polite, cleaned up as they went along and the quality of work was excellent. I couldn't have been more pleased with the whole process!9650

This past spring, I bought a 45-year old house that needed serious updating efforts --- paint, flooring, plumbing, electrical, kitchen and appliances as well as garage & driveway. In addition, the landscaping in the back, the deck and the front porch and walkway all needed updating/replacement. For this outside work, I looked through local ads as well as the ratings in the Best of Annapolis magazine and chose Green Future as one of the contractors to bid on my project. The estimating team at Green Future contacted me immediately, set up an appointment to see the house and we met that same week. This was in sharp contrast to the other contractors that I had to track down and repeatedly pester to get them to come out to look at my job. I also found that few other contractors would take on the whole of my project….some did only decks; others only landscaping but no decks or masonry; some only masonry. That, in itself, narrowed the field for me --- I wanted a one-stop solution for my outside work. After I received my detailed quote and drawing from Green Futures (other contractors didn’t submit drawing) I reviewed with my estimator, and finalized the details and pricing. No other contractor provided as much detail or accessibility in the bid process as Green Future. I signed them up and we set a start date for the work. I could not be happier with the job they did for me in all phases of the project --- decking, masonry work and landscaping (hardscape, drainage work, as well as plantings/mulch). These are the reasons that I would recommend Green Future to anyone, and why they will handle all my landscaping needs going forward: 1) The job was performed exactly in conformance with the agreed spec. 2) The workmanship was first rate and the project ended up looking even better than I had imagined. Thomas Bailey, my management contact at Green Future, and his teams were perfectionists. They were not happy until I was happy. 3) The workers were NEAT on the jobsite and the work areas were cleaned and straightened each evening before they left. 4) All elements of the permitting and inspection process were handled (and chased down with a slow County permitting office) by Green Future. 5) The communication with Green Future throughout the project was excellent. Again, Thomas Bailey went above and beyond on this score. He communicated with me nearly every day, checking my satisfaction with what had been done and letting me know what was to take place next and when. Of all the contractor personnel I have dealt with at my house over the past 6 months (and there have been many), Thomas was by far the most communicative --- and he did exactly what he said he’d do WHEN he said he’d do it. I can tell you that that level of customer attention is a rare commodity today in dealing with contractors. 6) Thomas also did a final walkthrough of the complete job with me, pointed out things I should be aware of about the ongoing maintenance of my landscaping and let me know that he would respond personally if I found any issues with anything on my job. I believe him --- but so far, everything looks perfect to me. Could I have gotten the work done more cheaply? Yes --- maybe 10-15%. However, I am confident that it would not have been done as well, as “hassle-free” or with the level of service and communication throughout that I experienced with Green Future. I also would have been dealing with at least two and maybe three separate contractors to get everything done for less. I made the right decision --- Green Future was a great value overall --- and the results are beautiful. I have already received many compliments from my neighbors on the work. Some visitors we have had (and even some delivery men) have remarked in particular about my brick front porch and walkway. This company, and Thomas Bailey especially, get my highest praise and recommendation --- they get five stars on every element of our interaction. I think you will be hard pressed to find a better full service landscaper than Green Future.

Work was excellent. Joey Hafner came out and I wasn't sure what I needed and he helped me find needed solutions for my back yard. Impressed with his overall knowledge as I was looking for construction, lawn and tree services all at once. Had estimate same day or next with a reasonable price. Work started on time, workers super polite. Had 10 supporting posts on my deck replaced and there wasn't even a rattle on the deck. It looks great and I felt like workers treated my property as if it was their own.

Can't say enough about this company and the back yard patio and staircase project they did for us. Our project manager (Joey) was great! Explained everything from the assessment, design, all the way through the project close-out. No project ever goes as planned, and a couple of minor issues came up beyond the crew's control (weather, MY alterations of the project), but the team was very accommodating and delivered what they said they would. My project included some difficult grading and drainage concerns against an existing deck and the house. But Joey's design and vision gave us more than we thought was possible, making our deck area more usable and turning our backyard into an area we absolutely LOVE to spend time in now.
