Brad, who runs the company, is officially our favorite contractor to invite over to the house for a repair. They were great at cleaning up after themselves and they did a lot of custom work. We did not want just some package; there were a lot of things that we wanted done so they basically did everything off of our design. They even worked hard to save the twenty five year old Wisteria vine that had been on the old deck. They went great lengths to preserve it, pull it off of the old deck, protect it while they put in the new deck, and then put it back up. We have recommended them to other people and as a matter of fact we even had them back to do other work.

I love the ingenious design of Elite Decks & Home Remodeling for our specific needs. They were spectacular. Their design is unique and perfect.

Brad met with us numerous times, presenting options we hadn't though of as well as listening to what we wanted. He worked with us extensively on design variations and material/color choices to build the deck we really wanted on our budget. Elite Decks went the extra mile to build a deck that we would really love, and for a competitive price.

The contractor was very responsive. His pricing was the lowest. The work was done about a week after we were given the quote. That was the same amount of time that the contractor projected. The work was completed in one day. They did an excellent job and cleaned up the site after the work. I am very pleased with the outcome.

We had received several estimates, and Elite provided the best combination of comfort with price. During the estimate, Brad was patient and paid close attention to our requirements. He provided suggestions based on his experience, some of which we adopted (such as a small caster on the gate to prevent sagging and extend the life). He answered our questions well, and called his partners for confirmation when he wasn't sure. Once we had agreed to a contract, the work was promptly scheduled. The workers were on time when scheduled and worked without delay. The crew was courteous and professional. Elite handled all coordination activities, including required inspections and materials delivery, and communicated with us throughout the process to let us know when to expect things to occur. The deck was completed on time, with the exception of the gate, which had to be ordered separately. The gate arrived a couple weeks later. It required two visits to install since the gate needed to be cut down to prevent interference with the hand rail on the steps. The visits and installation was completed promptly. The site was properly cleared when the work was completed. The resulting deck is beautiful. It was completed to our specifications, we have no complaints about its looks or construction. We are very pleased with the work that was done. Small touches, such as the previously mentioned caster and small supports under the bottom rails to prevent sagging, showed Elite's experience and pride in their work.

The entire project went more or less according to schedule, with only a minor coordination glitch. The manager came to our house, listened to our needs, explained our various options and provided an estimate within a day or so. Although I was not in a hurry to complete the project, the work started about three weeks later. The quality of the work was outstanding and completed in about 10 days. Well after the project was completed, the manager even called me to ask whether the porch had sustained any damage in Superstorm Sandy.

I had several estimates to replace my back porch/deck and they were all within one thousand dollars of each other. I chose Elite Decks because I was very impressed with Brad at our first meeting. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He brought a binder of photos from previous jobs from which I was able to get a very good idea of the final look. He explained everything very clearly about how the job would progress. He and his employees showed up each day on time and were very pleasant and professional. At the end of each day they cleaned the site and made sure that it was safe (no nails, screws and such left on the ground). The job progressed exactly as explained. In fact they went beyond what was expected and gladly allowed for a last minute addition. The end result is a gorgeous new porch/deck that will last for a long time. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome.

Slight delay due to availability of lattice chosen and a cracked long composite sleeve that had to be reordered. No real issues within the contractor's control and we are very pleased overall. Excellent work quality and personable employees.Would highly recommend Elite to anyone.

During hurricane Irene a 100? tree fell from our neighbor?s yard, through our yard and damaged our existing screened porch. We decided to upgrade the under-used porch to a three-season room and expand the outside ?deck? to a slightly larger area. We contacted 9 companies. Six returned our calls; four came to look at the scope of the work; and three provided an estimate (to include one that provided an estimate on a scrap of paper, folding it and asking us to guess how much). Brad, from Elite, was the only one to follow up immediately with samples and simple sketches (to ensure we were on the same page with what we wanted). During the initial meeting we mentioned other work we thought about completing around the house such as replacing 7 windows (including a garden window); replacing the gutters and siding on the entire house; and removing an existing unused outside door in the kitchen with a window. Brad, of course, said no problem to adding on the additional work. Before the work officially began, Brad and Paul came for a walk though to discuss the project. Paul explained the details of what they were going to accomplish and how. We were lucky to schedule the project before their busy season as it seemed almost every day we found just one more ?add on? we wanted to include. Steve led the team diligently throughout the entire project. He made sure every task was done well, even insisting the team stay late some days to ensure each step was finished before the end of the day. Dwayne and John worked hard (even under the watchful eye of our children). And they were all super friendly, even first thing in the morning when we would ask ?just one more question?. The size of the room is the same size as the prior porch, just built better. Even the county inspector commented on the sturdiness of the structure. Elite was able to raise the walls enough to bring the roof above the windows on the back of the existing house so the new roof did not block them. Elite matched the roof line with our existing roof and the room appears larger. They even recommended reducing the size of the living room chimney to give us more space on the outside deck. We have a pellet stove insert in the chimney and did not need the entire space of the old fireplace. Elite Decks was wonderful to work with throughout the entire project. We were looking for a rustic retreat to match our wooded lot, and that is exactly what they delivered. In the last five months we have used the room more than we did during the prior 10 years. Every time we sit and relax on the porch we think how much we love our new porch. Thanks Elite!

Although the project was more than originally anticipated,Brad always kept us up on what was necessary to bring the project up to current codes. We have since had them reflash our replacement windows to prevent leaking. I have highly recommended these fine folks to my friends, neighbors and colleagues.

We had a great experience with Elite decks. Brad showed up on time to give the original estimate. He was willing to work with me when I found a screening material I wanted to use. We had kind of a unique situation arise, when we found out the previous owner of our home had done some "magical contracting" work. The guys were able to come up with ideas to remedy the situation and tried to keep the price down. Paul and Brad (the owners) were very easy to talk to about any minor issues that did arise and fixed them promptly. It was really good to deal with contractors that not only did great work but that I could trust in my home. It was also comforting to know that one if not both owners were working on site each day. I have already recommended them to some friends and would without hesitation use them again!

Very impressed with the whole experience. Brad came out for the quote, offered some design suggestions and other things to think about. I ended up selecting Elite Decks because I felt comfortable dealing with Brad and their price. The crew quickly built my deck, then did a great job of cleaning up. Apparently, the city inspector would not sign off on my deck because it had only 2 support beams, so the crew put up two others to satisfy the requirements for no charge.

Brad was extremely professional and helpful with our wishes regarding the installation of a deck. While we did not move past an estimate, due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact him in the fall to complete the job!

Brad came out to do our estimate. He brought a camera, took lots of pictures, and showed me pictures of other projects. We talked about what I wanted to accomplish more than the specific picture that I had in my mind. I had said that the yard was a blank slate, and I was open to creative ideas. Brad took me very seriously, and was very comfortable offering other options that would meet my need. We were pleased with the design option that he offered.

They were a little hard to get hold off at times but overall I was satisfied with the work.

We requested a quote from Brad with Elite Decks. He promptly scheduled an appointment to see the project. He did not provide a formal, written quote, but was willing to answer all our questions and gave us a rough estimate of a price for the project at the first meeting. We ended up using another contractor who had done work for a neighbor, but we were happy with his customer service in returning our call and arranging to meet with us.

They were very prompt and very neat. THey preformed the work as expected and were very cooperative in working with us through out the project.

Elite came to our house to discuss the deck. Shortly thereafter they provided a rough sketch and an estimate. The work proceeded on time and was completed on time. The workmen were easy to work with and did a good job, even suggesting some improvements that didn't raise the price. Anything that wasn't to our satisfaction they remedied. It was a pleasure to do business with them.

We had a wonderful experience with Wayne. He was very professional and very detail oriented. He made honest suggestions on what we really needed and stayed within our budget. You can tell that Wayne is very proud of the work he performs because he made sure every detail was exact. We wanted a deck that was safe and sturdy for our toddler to play on and we felt very confident with the work performed on our deck. He surpassed our expectations with the finished product. We have received numerous compliments from neighbors about how nice our deck looks.

Original estimate was accurate and fair. Brad worked with us and was patient as we made some changes to our original design. They paid good attention to details when building the deck, which is especially important when working with composite material. Deck was built quickly. I did have a few minor issues with the deck after it was built. When I brought the issues to Brad's attention, they were quickly fixed without any problems. Since I've had the deck built, I've noticed other people's decks and have noticed small, important things that Elite Decks did that other companies missed. I'm pleased with the work that they company did and their responsiveness in making sure that I was 100% satisfied with the work that was done. Great company to do business with.

Our house is shaped like an octagon. It required a 1700 square foot deck. It took 4 men 6 weeks to complete the job. My husband is a retired engineer and he went out and looked at the cuts that the job required and they were perfect.They did a great job on a task that was extremely difficult.
