Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal for my roof. It was OK and he came right out. Scheduling was perfect. He looked at the roof and was supposed to send me pictures and never did.

Description of Work: Fully replaced two flat roofs and a retaining wall. Went very well. They showed up when they said they would, great work took a little longer than expected due to the weather and they had an excellent warranty. I would definitely use them for roofing service again.

Description of Work: They provided a very high bid for insulation and an outline of suggested roof repairs. It was kind of wasted. They came in and tried to get me to buy future services. They are not really an insulation company. Their bid for insulation was inadequate.

Description of Work: Provided additional insulation in two attic spaces along with baffles in one space to retain the insulation away from the attic vents. The one attic space was hard to reach with the only access being from a garage cut through. | |The job went very well. Description of Work: Contractor was prompt and courteous, however job required hiring/paying for additional work to gain access to attic area. I had called the contractor prior to purchasing the Big Deal offer to ask if no attic access would make the purchase un-doable. I was told not at all, that the contractor could cut a small access hole to blow in the insulation. When the contractor showed for appointment he said it was much more complicated than that, and that he would have to sub-contract a handyman of sorts to cut the access hole, and to even know how much insulation they would have to blow in.

Description of Work: Was scheduled for 10AM but got a call saying it would be 11AM. Got a second call that the crew was on the way. Crew didn't arrive until 1PM. Once here they did a great job.

Description of Work: We used the "Big Deal" that we purchase for the services of A-1 Roofing Services/Kangaroof. A piece of my roof came off and they replaced that and they also replaced a couple of shingles.

Description of Work: We purchased their advertised service which is adding insulation in the attic. The inspection guy came and did some inspection. He found roof problem here and there, and tried to sell their roof-repairing service. We asked the guy to show us picture on cell phone for all problems he spotted. He ends up with sending us wrong photos. We decline the roof-repairing service cause we did not see what problem is. Here is the real problem: On the day scheduled for adding insulation, we called for appointment. They said their insulation team is laid off. They are hiring a new team. They give us two options, either refund or wait until Dec (1+ month later).

Description of Work: When I saw the Angie's list deal I thought I could replace my old electric roof fan with their solar fan. I called the roofing company directly and spoke to a representative. I asked if they could replace the fan from the roof side and she said they could. But when the serviceman came he wanted to access the attic to try to disconnect the wire before removing the old fan. He could not easily access the inside roof and was not confident that he could remove the old fan from the outside of the roof. I told him that I wanted my money refunded and he told me to contact Angie's list for a refund. He was very pleasant and apologized for not being able to do the job.

Description of Work: It was OK but not the superior service we are accustomed to. Perhaps Kangaroof had too much work to do or maybe it was just a bad match with me and the company communication wise.

Description of Work: Ordered the new roof coupon for $5999. Kangaroo came to house and estimated roof to be less cost since we have a small roof. They have been very courteous.

Description of Work: The roofer went up on the roof, was there for probably 30 minutes, walked the entire roof, secured some loose tiles and said the roof was in good condition. Did not try to sell me any more services. Great experience.

Description of Work: A-1 Roofing arrived on time and fixed the chimney flashing. I was very satisfied with the work which was done.
