terrible Read their individual reviews don't just look at the B rating. I do not know how they have a B rating after reading the reviews. I made the mistake of looking only at the overall review 1..pressured me to have driveway done the next day 2.promised to remove everything from driveway. Did not. Now I have a 3 by 2 foot square that is untreated. 3. did not accept charge card and cashed my check on the same day as the job so I had no recourse 4. answered my first complaint call on day of job prior to check being cashed and said they would send out someone to fix my problem the next day. 5. Never sent anyone to fix the problem. 6. Never have responded to any of my 4 calls since then over the last ten days. 7. driveway is very shiny. Looks strange. They got over spray on my stacked stone wall alongside driveway. I am hoping that I can power wash that off. 8. I am concerned about the quality of the job as I have never seen a driveway look this way after it has dried and there zero response clearly shows something is wrong with this company.

The work was done just as indicated on the estimate. We were very pleased with both the driveway over haul and the driveway sealing.

OK. Communications was a problem. Timelines were not kept or communicated.

Never performed service. Never got a refund.

Total waste of time, I purchased a deal through Angieslist and I specified the dates that I wanted the service being done, I received an email with a phone # to call. I tried to contact them many many times with no success, I left many voice messages as well but again no success. After almost a month silence, I receive an email from them stating that: "Due to our changes in weather this past month. Rain & lower temperatures at night we regret to inform you we are unable to perform the services you requested." I could have used another company if I knew they are not going to perform the job!

I have called this company and left 7 messages over 3 week period...called angies list and complained...and even had angies list rep called and they didnt even return their calls....still no answer... if you are too busy to answer fone or even have the professionalism to return messages...then do not place big deals...

It didn't turned out as well as I would have liked it to. Normally when my driveway is coated, I don't see tire tracks on it. The surface is hard but soft enough that you can see tire tracks on it. When the car rolls over, you can see where the tires have been. I would not use them again. I wasn't here when they did it but they were neat- there wasn't tar all over the grass. They were neat in the way they did the job and so, I can't complain about that.

Driveway sealing was pretty good; the area of the driveway was much larger than anticipated, so it cost more than I thought (but hey, that's the cost of doing business). One of the purchased tasks was also to fill in a depression in the driveway. THAT didn't go so well; I am not happy with the results. I was told they had some asphalt leftover from the last job, and they just stuck it in the hole and left it. If needed more, the depression is still not even close to being "flat". Other than that, I was satisfied.

My driveway had deterioration but was serviceable. It had been coated with different agents in the past 20+ years. Tri State explained the effects of these agents and how my driveway would look after their application due to these previous applications. The driveway had developed wear cracks and was in need of a thick seal-coat to renew appearance and stop aging wear and tear. Where previous attempts at repair had resulted in enlarged cracks and one pothole, Tri State took the time to explain the the most cost effective approach and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. I elected to follow Tri State's approach and their application of seal-coat was supplemented by crack patching compound that blended with the seal-coat resulting in a smooth, integrated finish. Given the situation, I feel it was the best outcome achievable without cutting up or putting down new asphalt. I was also impressed with the skill the contractor demonstrated when using quality equipment that put the coat on a in smooth, continuous manner that restored the driveways appearance. Using a roller near the garage door was a a pro touch. Will definitely use again. A very professional job at a reasonable price. The agent arrived early and completed the job promptly. Highly recommended.

Excellent job. For an additional fee I got the cracks in the driveway filled in and a second coat. I pretty much expected that because the driveway had never been done and it looks really good for the upcoming sale. I would definitely use again.

I scheduled an appointment for 3 weeks from the date of my call because that was the soonest that they had. (5-8-15) I was advised that I would receive a phone call the day before the service to confirm. I got the driveway all ready and moved the cars but never received a call. On the morning of the service I called and left a message with the company. The guy called me back and told me that they were unable to get materials for the job. I asked why they didn't call me and let me know there was a problem and they blamed Angies List for not being able to get a hold of me. I told them that I gave the appointment scheduler all of my information and they at least had an email address. I was then told that the office person had been sick since Monday and apparently he was the only one who knew how to do anything. I would have been fine if someone would have reached out to me to let me know something was wrong. There is no excuse for not communicating with a paid customer. I told them that I wasn't angry, but I was going to move on and find another company and that I would not like to reschedule. I have not received a refund from them which would have been the right thing to do, but I will work with Paypal to reverse the charges. No office should only have one person who knows how to access information to at least communicate with their customers. Very disappointed. :(

Perfect!! They came on time. They were professional, telling me what they were going to do and how long I should wait before putting the cars back on the driveway. The driveway looks fabulous. They predicted it would last for 2 to 3 years. I am very pleased with the results.

The property where I want the service done is a residential duplex that I own and have tenants in. Originally the provider said that this would qualify for the Big Deal but then they said that the property was commercial and wouldn't honor the Big Deal.

Everything went really well. The three-person crew showed on time, they did a great job, and they were straightforward and honest when discussing the additional charges we'd have to pay since our driveway is larger than what was covered by the deal. Furthermore, the price was still reasonable considering the extra costs, and the driveway still looks good months later.

I communicated with phone messages left on the provder's answering service machine, and sent emails. I was given a date and replied that I would like to reschedule. I never received a response. I realiza that, if I cann them to come in the future I will receive credit for the $149.00 I paid in advance, but am willing to lose that amount and find a more reputable firm to maintain our driveway.

They were great to work with. It took them awhile for them to respond to me and to get something scheduled. They did a good job and they communicated well.

It was fabulous! They are very knowledgeable and made terrific recommendations on how to treat our driveway! We will definitely be calling them again!

Contacted on Angie's List asking for a quote. Said they'd take a look at the property. Never responded. Further attempts at contact were never responded too. Voicemails went unreturned.

It was okay. It took them a long time to come out but once they were there, they did the job in about 20 minutes. We had to threaten them with a refund to get them to come out.

Job was professionally applied in October 2013, looked great, but wore off in less than 6 months. i've been trying to get them to correct the problem since March of 2014. I've gotten lots of promises, but they never show up.

They came out right away. They were good about trimming the grass back. My driveway is about 300 square feet and the deal was for up to 1,000 square feet so it might have been nice to have received something just a little extra as the space they were working with was so small. Communication was good. They indicated you could drive on it after 24 hours but we did notice even as recently as a couple weeks ago that we are seeing tire tracks and footprints. I contacted them about this and about the shine of the asphalt. They indicated that it?s because it takes a couple months to oxidize. I guess we'll see.

Purchased Big Deal in March. Job was completed in August. I want to say the end result was very good. Driveway looks great. Getting to the end was aggravating to say the least. Made multiple calls to get scheduled with no responses. After several calls from Angies List representative on my behalf, contact was finally made.

We were very pleased. They came out and did a nice job. The driveway has a nice finish. They were on time. They did it quickly. I didn't mind the charge for additional footage because it was worth it. We let it set overnight before driving the cars over it.
